Description of Work: They replaced the old floors in the Foyer and Kitchen with Armstrong Vinyl Tile. John Kim and his team did an excellent job. He was very thorough with his estimate and explained everything to me. They crew arrived on time and did an excellent job. Very professional. I already got so many compliments on the new floor, it looks great.

Workmen were pleasant, professional, and accurate. Care was given to blending the hallway flooring put in 15 years ago by another company.

Description of Work: We had had someone refinish our floors and the results were lousy! I called K&K to come see if something could be done to fix the job. The owner checked out the other man's job and said that nothing short of completely refinishing the floors could be done, and he didn't recommend that because we wouldn't be able to refinish them again in the future. I really appreciated his coming out even tho' I had given him the background over the phone. He was well aware there might not be a job, and yet he took the time to come out and give us his evaluation. So, what have we done? Covered the flaws with rugs--more or less what he hinted at. I have since recommended them to a neighbor and they are having them refinish their living- and dining-room hardwood floors.

Description of Work: they took up my old parquet floor and replaced with new engineered wood floor. They were punctual, worked quickly, made little mess. The only hiccup was that the estimate didn't cover the hall closets so the final bill was higher.

Description of Work: I contacted K&K based upon reviews here. I was extremely happy that I did so. After calling to inquire about having a room's carpet yanked out in order to have hardwood floor extended in, I wasn't certain of the type of wood so the gentleman offered to have a site survey done. He came out a few days later and quickly assessed the situation. He offered to do it that weekend (we had simply wanted it taken care of a month out or so, initially) as they had an opening. I agreed, and a different gentleman came out that Saturday morning. He was incredibly polite and even more efficient, as he did the room by himself. They matched the same type of wood, and even aligned the boards to match up with the adjacent room's boards so that it's completely seamless between the two rooms (aside from a little color difference which will take a few months/years to blend in). My wife and I couldn't be happier, and we recommend this company to others based upon this outstanding experience.

Description of Work: All discussions, previews and decisions on laminate type, cost, etc. were professional. Installation was punctual, professional and expedient. When one flaw was noticed after the fact, they came back to make the necessary repair at no cost.

Description of Work: Took up existing carpet, moved furniture, installed new carpet. Only regret is that I didn't think to check the location of one piece of furniture, which should have been moved 5-6 inches.
