It went great. When he came out to do the estimate I liked him so much that I didn't even get any other estimate so I have no idea if this is good price or not. Well I don't know if the price I paid was reasonable I was happy to pay that.

We worked with Peter, who took the time to research our old carpeting and our existing hardwood flooring to find the best possible matches. Not only did he find incredibly close matches to our existing flooring, but the installation process was seamless and professional.

A++++++++++++++++! Selecting contractors has been very stressful and hardwood floors are notoriously difficult, but from beginning to end, I had a fantastic experience with K&K. The installation and removal took ONE DAY where other companies were telling me between 3-7 days. Installers, who were K&K employees, not sub contractors, were fantastic. Job manager was really friendly and polite and did exactly what I wanted. They cleaned up nicely afterwards and I couldn't be happier. They also helped me come up with a design for a border in the living room and dining room that looks amazing! I highly recommend and will be using them again when I finish my basement.

They were punctual and they did everything on time. I was not 100% satisfied with the work but the owner called to follow up. The next day the owner and his partner were here on their hands and knees to make sure everything was correct. They sanded again and put on another coat of finish; they did a beautiful job. They were so responsive about correcting it that I can?t do anything but give them an A. I have already recommended them to friends.

It went well. Their price was fairly good, and the estimate was professional. The gentleman was professional, reassuring, and on time.

I found K & K on Angie's List. Overall, the job went very good. They did a great job on the floors. There were a few times I had to call them to come back and fix some spots. But they always came back and, overall, I am happy. They were very responsive to feedback from the customer. The price was right.

It went well. In October Mr Cho came and gave us an estimate. We went to the K & K showroom to look at wood samples. We then decided to wait until after Christmas to have the floors replaced. In January we contacted Mr Cho. He promptly answered all of our questions, and arranged for the work. We signed a contract and paid a 50% deposit. The ordered wood arrived, we set a date, and on that day the workmen installed the floors. All went smoothly and we're very pleased with the result.

They were responsive and accurate. They were certainly on time. There were no hidden costs. I spent about $9000 to $10000. The flooring and carpeting looks excellent and it's holding up very well. My experience has been excellent. Their price was good. The quality of work was very good. They were very punctual and professional. I would use them again in the future.

The quality of the work performed by K & K was awesome! The crew was on-time every day and courteous and professional. All work was performed as stated - on schedule and with very, very high quality. We would definitely recommend K & K for anyone re-finishing their hardwood floors and would use them again in the future! A+!

Mr. Cho arrived at the appointment for the free estimate on time and answered all our questions with out hesitation on the spot. I received samples and discussed the pro's and con's for different choices with Mr. Cho. Mr. Cho was efficient in measuring each space in order to arrive at a very accurate square footage. I received a very detailed estimate outlining all aspects of the work to be done with in 36hrs. During the discussions over the exact flooring and carpets we wanted to select, Mr. Cho was readily available to answer our questions and any affects on price compared to the estimate. K&K delivered the flooring in advanced of installation as needed for acclimating to our house temperature and humidity. K&K arrived at our house on time each day. The staff was the most efficient and hard working as I have ever seen. They completed the job as described on time. K&K Floors is run by good honest and hardworking people. I would highly recommend them.

As I mentioned above he advised me how to fix it myself, which speaks to the professionalism of the company. He did offer a price, but as this was a very small job he was happy to advise me how to do it.

K&K had the best price out of three estimates. They were the most responsive and professional in their bidding, even though this was a relatively small job. They were very professional, showed up on time, and completed the job on time. The quality of work was superior and we are very pleased.

They were good and we were really impressed. Their price was good too. They brought in a large crew and got the whole job done in one day. They worked from 7 to 7. Since they were working really fast there were some problems around the doors. They came back within a day to fix everything that had been wrong and damaged. The existing tiles were installed by the previous owner. It wasn?t professionally installed.

The team arrived a little early , which was welcome, an immediately went to work. They put up plastic dust barriers that, combined with their excellent equipment, kept the entire project dust free. They were quick, efficient, and their work is excellent. We are delighted and have already recommended them to two of our neighbors. We will use them again foe other refinishing we intend to do in the house. They were priced very competitively. Sang Kim, the sanding team leader is also excellent. They left the place spotless!

Estimate was very reasonable. Workers arrived on time, finished promptly and cleaned up after themselves.

Excellent work. Crew was professional, hardworking, etc...Completed in one day. They eliminated a few creaks (as the guy giving the quote promised) and creaks haven't come back in the year since. Also, they threw in the installation of laminate floor in my bathroom (granted the bathroom is very small) for free.

I contacted K & K and Their representative, Patrick, set and appointment and came promptly. I was tiring to move into a house and change the flooring in two rooms at the same time. K & K installed a beautiful new floor on Saturday morning and I even added the entrance area the day before, by phone. Beautiful floor and professionally installed - A very good experience

I contacted them to get an estimate for floor refinishing. They were not willing to estimate without in-person inspection of the floors, which we could not do at the time. Since we were closing on a new house and wanted the work done immediately on closing, I asked them to take a look at pictures of the floors. I aksed for an estimate in the alternative on a per sq. ft. basis: I wanted an estimate for just buffing and new poly and one with complete refinishing. I did not hear back from them after I sent in the pictures and I received no estimate. I was able to get estimates from a few other companies, so I wrote back that I will not be using their services.

They were very polite and went right to work. The sales man was also very cordial. They said they would be here at 9 on Saturday, but they arrived at 9:15. However, they had a far way to drive, so this was fine. They began to work from the moment they arrived until 7 that evening. One of the floors was a little different and they had to fix this in a special way. They were sure to check this with me before starting this section. Also, I didn't have to move anything as they did this themselves.

We just purchased a new home and wanted to replace our living/dining room carpet with hardwood floors. K&K gave us a good price and had excellent reviews on Angie's List. While we are satisfied with the floor we had installed, the customer service could have been better. First, they should have left us some of the "waste" materials that were included in our price. After the install, I called to request a few extra boards and shoe molding (the "waste"). I was advised that some would be brought to my home. When I asked when, I was told "when I am in your area." I think I will be forced to buy extra shoe molding at Home Depot. When the sales rep first came to our house, he was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. Combining this with its Angie's List reviews, we leaned heavily towards K&K. However, as many people do, we collected more estimates. One estimate was $200 less than K&K's. We asked K&K would if they match that price. They agreed to do so, but the customer service dropped considerably after we made this request. For instance, several phone calls went unreturned over several days days. Indeed, we had to call another person at the store to speak with the sales rep. Also, when the sales rep came to our home, he gave us a price per square foot and stated we will receive a 5% Angie's List discount. When our estimate arrived via email, it stated the Anglie's List discount was included in the price (it was not an itemized estimate). However, the price per square foot was the same as the quote we received at our house. We could not figure out how they factored in the "Angie's List discount" (if was included we could not figure out how it was calculated). They also did not leave us a receipt or final invoice to show the work was actually performed. For the reasons above, we give K&K Floors a "C." The customer service was poor, but they performed good work at a fair price. Our floor looks good. We would consider using them again, but only if the customer service was better. We found other companies that provide the same service for a comparable price, so it is defnitely worth shopping around.

We moved into our home, pulled up carpet in the master bedroom and discovered that the hardwood floors needed some repair and refinishing. K & K Floors was able to begin the work immediately, even though they gave me a higher bid than 2 other floor companies. When giving me the estimate, K&K informed me that the color of the floor boards at the threshold between the master bedroom and the hallway would not match and I understood. They brought new floorboards to do the repairs but ran out and had to use some old floor boards that I had stored in the garage to finish. A couple of the old, stained boards were installed right as you come into the bedroom and was very noticeable. I had to call and have the repair guy come back to replace the old boards. The quote listed that the finish would be high-gloss polyurethane. The first coat was obviously a satin finish. We mentioned this to the worker and he insisted that this was correct. When the 2nd coat also appeared to be a satin finish and not even close to the gloss of the rest of the house, I called K&K and asked him to come out to see. Instead, he sent the floor finisher out to apply a high-gloss finish. This turned out to be too high of a sheen and still did not match the rest of the house. At this point, I asked K&K to come out and see. He came out and took a look and told me that the high gloss was correct and that he would send out his guy to even out the finish at the doorway a bit more as there was still a strip where the satin finish was still showing. The guy did come out and applied more high-gloss to the doorway, and told us that the rest of the house was actually semi-gloss. I would expect a company that specializes in floors and is so highly rated on Angie's List to know what the difference is in the various polyurethane sheens and to have their employees who perform the work to know the difference as well. This was my first experience using Angie's List to find a contractor and I will know to do more research and not rely just on this list. The price I paid for this service was $400 more than the next bidder but I used K&K anyway due to the very high ratings and the fact that they could start the work sooner.

They have nothing but a VERY professional staff. Ask for Mr. Cho. He took me through the process step-by-step. Came and checked on the work being done and consulted with me on any unforeseen problem. This was a very big job with a lot of issues. Mr. Cho saw things that he felt were not properly done before I noticed them (i.e.Stair color not matching) Mr. Cho fixed the problem without negotiation or extra cost. They were not the cheapest in terms of estimates, but they came highly recommended from a friend and gave me the most professional and responsive service when obtaining and considering estimates. Mr. Cho will always return your phone calls and answer questions promptly. Plus, their estimate was very much within reason of others I obtained (within a few hundred dollars). This company is the most trouble free, professional group of craftsmen and sales representatives I have dealt with in the Northern VA area. I would not use anyone else. From the first call to the completed job, K&K was extremely professional and helpful, and the floors look wonderful! My only concern was that there were a few spots that did not seem to show the high gloss finish as requested. However, K&K quickly came to review the work, and added additional polyurethane to the spots for the shine we wanted. Another important item to share. My family and I decided to move the furniture out and back in to the areas being refinished, and unfortunately, moving our piano back to the living room created a long scratch in the floor. ( I was very distressed, as the scratch stood out like crazy!). When K&K came out to discuss the spots they missed, Mr. Kim gladly offered to fix the scratch at no charge, and the entire floor looks great! Use this company--they're wonderful!!

Their work is very professional, we are so pleased.
