Description of Work: I have given low scores to this provider because they "upsold" me in a very unethical way. Some years ago, I had a Groupon or Living Social coupon (don't remember which) for a discount price oil change. When I used it at one of their locations, their technician told me that my brake pads were in bad shape and needed to be changed. (they had squeaked for quite a while). This much was true and I said ok. they then charged me over $700. for the service. When I told others about this later, I was told that it should never have cost that much, I was overcharged by far. One person told me the true cost should have been around $100. I was furious. I do not think that the lure of a Groupon or Living Social coupon ought to be used in order to "upsell" anything. If I like their service for the oil change, I would keep them in mind for more expensive jobs. But to bait and switch....no, I will never ever use this provider again for anything.

Description of Work: Wiygul Automotive is our most favorite auto repair shop. They do great work at fair prices, but most important to us is that they take the time to explain why the work needs to be done and how they will do it. Everyone in the store is very friendly, a traditional family-owned and operated business. It's like visiting with neighbors every time we go there.

Description of Work: NOT FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE . . I did not personally use WIYGUL AUTOMOTIVE CLINIC. My son did go there for a discounted Virginia state auto safety inspection. His vehicle did not pass their inspection which cited hundreds of dollars for repairs that were not needed. He then went to another Virginia Safety Inspection station and his vehicle passed with no exceptions. We surmised that Wiygul sells the discount coupons to draw customers and then takes advantage of them. OUR FAMILY WOULD NEVER USE WIYGUL AUTOMOTIVE CLINIC AGAIN FOR ANYTHING. Date was more than a year ago.
