SOS was flexible with trying to fit my schedule. I was optimistic that the repair could be completed during the first visit because the technician identified the problem and had the corresponding part on his truck. Unfortunately, there was another part malfunctioning, and its replacement needed to be ordered. He was very helpful in researching to correct part and scheduling the next visit. On the second visit we had miscommunication about the time frame for arrival, but once he was here, the repair went quickly. Overall, he was friendly and courteous and got the job done quickly. I would recommend the company.

As a Realtor I rely on good vendors to take care of my seller and buyer clients. I have called on SOS Appliance 3 times in the past month and they have not let me down. There is one situation that especially stands out: a client recently had an issue with his upscale refrigerator, he called his home warranty company, they quoted $600 for the repair and were very unprofessional. He called me very frustrated and I contacted SOS Appliance, they made the repair onsite for $145 and the client was extremely happy. I find SOS to be reliable, honest, fair and I trust their judgement. Thank you for the great service!!

Called late afternoon on a Sunday, and came out first thing Monday which seemed pretty responsive considering all. Had a Bosch Axxis dryer that sounded like it was grinding metal on plastic or something. Raouf, who I think is the owner and who answered the phone when I called, came out promptly on Monday and fixed both for reasonable prices. He was a consummate professional, fastidious, courteous, and even honored the angie's list coupon for both appliances needing fixing. I would use him again and would recommend him to others. Don't think twice about going with S.O.S.

I am very happy to have met Raouf. I hesitate calling the very big companies because it is the luck of the draw if you will get someone good, or not. Raouf was very courteous on the phone and came out on a Sunday without extra charge. He started with the least expensive item: a new lid switch. When it still was not resolved, he put in a new timer and did not charge me extra for two new parts, just the timer. Getting the stackable washer/dryer out of the small closet was difficult, so while it was out, he took off all the vents and vaccummmed them out, again without extra charge. I really appreciated this because a few years back, my upstairs neighbor's dryer caught on fire and jeopardized the adjacent condos. Lint buildup is serious. I plan to call Raouf again for both my main home and my rental property, should something break again. I believe the price I was charged was fair and competetive, but even more important to me is peace of mind knowing it has been fixed property.

SOS appliance repair services .Both the phone call and visit very friendly and professional. The technician found the problem very quick fixed in 30 min my washer working fine with reasonable prices. I would definitely consider them again and recommend them to neighbors and friends.

I called SOS APPLIANCE REPAIR SERVICES on Saturday morning.They send me a technician in 30 min, he diagnosed the problem, control board was bad, he replaced with reasonable prices. They were really professional and I will use them in the future.

Raouf, the technician did excellent work. He came to the property to diagnose the problem. Identified the issue. Had to take apart the washing machine to do this. Once he identified that the problem was a faulty motor. Coins were in the motor, he had to order the part. This required him to come back to complete the work. Once the new motor came in, he returned to the property to remove the old motor and install the new one. Each time he was at the house it took about an hour to perform the work. Since his work was completed, I have heard no complaints regarding his work. I note that this work was performed on a rental property I have. Raouf was thorough in his work and patient, and flexible in coordinating the scheduling of the job between me and my tenants. He was prompt in communicating the problem and keeping me posted of when the new motor would arrive and scheduling when he could install the new motor. I have been very blessed to have the opportunity to work with him. Raouf has always been very honest as a businessman with what he can and cannot do. I have actually worked with him for several years and would not trust anyone else to fix the appliance work that Raouf can fix. He has repaired and cleaned gas dryers for me, installed a thermostat in an oven, and installed a garbage disposal for me, though his plumbing work is limited. However, when it comes to working with and fixing small appliances, Raouf of SOS is my one and only solution! I would highly recommend him. I called sos appliance from Google search first i was afraid calling any company as i am new in this area then i thought let's give them a shot. Technician appeared on time & called prior to his arrival which i really appreciate. He diagnosed the problem in no time and gave me the estimate for which i told him that i will think but i think he read my mind & gave me options to try other places with part description. I called 2-3 different places and was shocked that they are charging 50% more than the price given by SOS so i decided right away to go for the repair without any other doubts. I really appreciate their honesty & quality of service.

I have a Danby dehumidifier that needed warranty service. I tried calling all three of there numbers (202-386-7272, 703-224-4000, and 866-578-4265). No one answered the calls and no one returned my messages. Likewise no one answered my e-mail request for service.
