Customer service representative was rude and arrogate. I've been told that $99 deal will "cover" just service call. Technician couldn't keep appointment time frame and was running approximately 2 hours late. Customer service representative became aggravated when I express my concerns and cancelled appointment. Terrible experience!

The fixed the light, don?t know if it was worth $99, they don?t do any extra and if what you wanted done was a simple thing - then you may be paying too much for the service.

Terrible. Now fighting with Angie to get my refund. This company reported that I used the big deal when in fact I cancelled this deal two days before my scheduled appointment. DO NOT use this vendor.

Project went very well. Light fixture added quickly. He had to return 2 days later to get parts to complete second part of job. Very efficient, no complaints.

The electrician was prompt and very professional. He examined the bad outlet and described to me the problem and he quickly replaced the outlet. Additionally, he pulled out the bad light switch and showed me how it was wired incorrectly. He was able to replace the switch quickly and did a great job doing it.

Dennis, the electrician, was on time, efficient, courteous and got the job done quickly. He also removed any debris/trash that was created as part of the job. Very satisfied!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They charge by the interval time period, not per job. A very good business model for the company, not good for you, the customer. We asked them to do the above job. They spent hours doing mutliple attempts but couldn't wire the switch for a 2 switch room dimmer. Every time they wired it, it did not work. So they would try again. (We went to Home Depot afterwards, spoke to the electrical switch rep and found they were using the wrong dimmer switch.) Even though they did not complete the job, they still charged for the hours they were there. They collected $1190 for a job not done. They just kept the meter running as they spent hours trying one thing after another. When it ended up just being the wrong switch. (Murphy's Family Electric said when I complained, that they were sorry they did not do the jub but they were still going to collect for the time their electrician spent trying to figure it out). Definitely go with the companies that charge per job completion. I called those and got estimates, which were maybe $100 more than what Murphy's estimated (btw Murphy's appears to low ball the estimate because they low ball the time needed to do the job.) I ended up paying 3 times as much to company that couldn't do the job nor stand behind their work. I tried to go with the cheapest and ended up paying the most. I recommend you pay a little more and go with a more reputable company.

Erik came from up in Rockville at rush hour.. He checked out the breaker, explained the problem to me and fixed it promptly. I was so grateful as the breaker was for my AC and it was our first days of ninety degree weather. Erik was pleasant, knowledgable and courteous.

I can not use this deal because my landlord decided to go with someone else. This is not a reflection on the company at all. They responded immediately to me and were ready to do work.

Initially we had it set up for the day after Christmas. The electrician called me several times and ultimately he told me had been in a car accident and couldn't come. Several weeks later, someone from the office called for customer feedback. I told them the story and they told me they terminated him. They wanted me to try them again and I told them I would. This time they couldn't do the service I needed done though which I felt to be really weird.

I had an 8am appointment, and the electrician showed up right on time at 8am, but forgot his tool box. He came back an hour later and installed two lights, but said he would have to come back later to install the ceiling fan in our living room because he was already late for other appointments, and told me specifically that I would not be charged a new appointment fee since it was a continued appointment that was unfinished. He was very professional and his work was excellent. When I called to reschedule the ceiling fan install, after calling several times and leaving two messages, they called me back and I was informed that since the ceiling fan was not in the notes of my appointment, there would be an additional transportation fee of $169 added to my appointment, even though it's not my fault the guy started an hour late to begin with. No matter where you're located, they charge you $199 just to walk through your door, this includes their transportation fee and the first 30 minutes of work. After that, they charge you $35 per quarter hour ($140 per hour). I was overall happy with the outcome of the two lights, but disappointed that after starting my appointment an hour late, they were unwilling to accommodate coming back and finishing the job. Needless to say, I would rather take my business elsewhere to a company with better customer service.

We were able to trouble shoot some at scheduling and make sure that I could provide materials needed to save me money. Electrician showed up on time. Completed job swiftly.

The service was fantastic. The technician was professional and knowledgeable. He exceeded expectations.

The circuit issue was easily resolved by discovery of a ground fault interrupter that had tripped, and the timer was installed very quickly. Eric, our electrician, was quite efficient, pleasant, and professional. Their prices seem a bit steep, though to be fair, I haven't compared other electrical services lately. With the prepayment deal offered through Angies' List, we did not have to pay anything more than the $129. I would use this company again, and I recommend them.
