Outlet installation was fine. The electrician was very nice. I used the $129 for $200 Angie's list deal. This covers 30 min electrician work and simple supplies. Beyond that, their hourly rate applies ($140/hr) + supplies with a substantial markup. I'd recommend buying supplies on your own, if you can, to avoid the markup. If your job can be done in 30 min, this is probably a decent deal, but I doubt many 30 min jobs require an electrician rather than a much cheaper handyman. If your job will need more than 30 min, I'd recommend looking for another electrician since this one is pretty expensive. I'm sure that this has been a common complaint, since Murphy Family Electric makes you sign a digital contract acknowledging their billing terms. I'll be looking for another electrician for the next job at my house.

It was alright. It wasn't that great. They came out within a couple of weeks of the purchase. It was to label the circuit breaker box. But they didn't come prepared with any actual labeling. They ended up just keeping a piece of notebook paper to the breaker box and writing it in a pencil. That part wasn't very professional. He was courteous but the end product wasn't very good.

I got it scheduled within 24 hours of contacting them to schedule. The electrician called to let me know he could come over sooner if acceptable to me, which was great. He was very quick, friendly and professional. I knew how much the deal I purchased covered and how much more it could be depending on needs. I paid a little extra for the actual switch which I was told ahead of time that it would be additional to the coupon. I highly recommend this company, would use them in the future, and will share this with my fellow-condo owners here.

This provider charges by the quarter hour and it certainly appears that this is in favor of the customer. Other providers in my past experience charged by the hour or half hour for any part of that time. The person who did the work was quiet, worked continuously, frequently checked with me for confirmation about location of switches etc. The price was more or less what I expected and $384 was reasonable for about 3 hours of skilled work. I did however have the advantage of getting the first hour which is usually $160 as part of an Angie deal for $129. I would definitely recommend this provider and the electrician and plan to use them in the future.

It took them four times to fix the issue we were having. They finally fixed it. We've had to pay three times and the fourth time I said, "I'm not paying." It finally cost about $500 to finally get it resolved.

It was great. The electrician was very good, he even put the shades on and made sure everything was perfectly straight and working properly.

I purchased $200 worth of service for $129. Sean called me to tell me the terms of the deal -- Their normal services calls are $169 plus van/travel fees of $30, so that comes to $199. He said the charge would be an additional $35 for each additional fifteen minutes, so I knew exactly what to expect. I originally wanted them to install the light fixture and test some outlets that didn't seem to be working. When the technician arrived (and he arrived on time, with a phone call letting me know he was coming), he immediately discerned that the outlets I thought weren't working were attached to switches for lamps. He had a little meter that measured the volt, and they worked. Yay, so no potential for further charges there. He then installed the fixture within the half hour that was part of the $200 worth of service, so the deal I purchased covered the whole thing. I'm entirely satisfied and would hire them again.

Great company! Was easy to schedule a time for them to come down, and accommodated a last minute cancellation. The electrician was extremely nice and even replaced a light bulb for me, which I feel went above and beyond.

While the technician was later than expected, the work that was performed was done very professionally. Scheduling was easy and I received follow-up call day in advance to confirm appt. Would use again and found the pricing to be fair.

Very friendly, professional, thorough and quality work. Especially appreciated that at times when he needed to cut through drywall made sure that I understood that he doesn't do drywall repair and made sure I was able to patch the holes myself before cutting. Also had difficulty locating a wire in one room and needed to cut larger holes, and made sure I was in agreement the whole way before any cutting was made. Not a problem for me since I can repair drywall, but really appreciated the advance and continued communication on that. Work was done about 6 months ago now and everything working perfectly.

It was a very fast service call. It took maybe 20 min. My problem was fixed and still working without incident.

He was not able to fix it, but did check out the electrical components of the system.

The electrician promptly contacted me to schedule the work. He arrived on time, as scheduled. He did the work quickly and completely and was very patient in explaining to me what needed to be done. Everything went perfectly.

No contact from provider. Contact Angie's help desk for refund. Angie's help desk stated they sent an email. No email received for refund.

I understand if someone is ill, but they should have a backup. I made an appointment. I think it's not fair. I paid in advance. I want my money back.

The electrican was on time. Came in ,fully assessed the situation and fixed what needed to be fixed without waisting time. Time is very important to me because I don't have much of it... Also, I had all of my own parts so everything was smooth sailing... Thank you so much Murphy family electric!

Went swiftly. Technician was very thorough, explained everything, and also made suggestions on useful things to fix previous incorrect electrical work. Has greatly improved usability of some of our fixtures as a result.

Diagnosed and replaced with new parts.

I wasted three days waiting for a call. I noticed that their address was in VA, but assumed they had "satellite" offices near me. Angie's List map showed that this company serviced the Lehigh Valley in PA. I was told that "they were working with Angie's List to fix the problem".
