I had contacted the company in advance after buying the special, I explained I needed a ceiling fan with light installed into a nursery. I explained that there was no electrical box in the area and that the electrician would need to create the new connections and I wanted the ceiling fan connected to the switch in the room. At that time I was given a quote of roughly $350 for the total work, so it should have been an additional $150 when the electrician arrived minus the special I had paid for. The electrician showed up on time on the agreed upon date. He got to work and installed the fan, then he told me he couldn't connect it to the light switch because of a barrier in the ceiling area (not true, a friend who is an electrician came down a couple of months later and fixed the issue easily). He then gave me a bill for $434.50 which meant I owed $234.50 after the special was discounted. I asked about the difference in price and he said it was because they didn't know that an electrical box would need to be installed, which is not true as I had told them at initial contact. They charged me $44.50 for the metal fan box, which if I had known I would need ahead of time I would have purchased for them for less than half the price they charged me. The company also apparently charges a $30 van parts fee on every call, which I was unaware of and considering they charged me $50 for the lines and $44.50 for the fan box seems like an excessive additional fee. Also they charge $169 flat for the first half hour of work. I have since worked with other electricians and that rate generally covers an entire hour. Because of the price changes at time of service and the inability to do what was requested I cannot recommend this company.

There was additional cost. I think the 129 only covered like a 30 minute service so I had to pay 69 dollars for every 15 minutes after that. I expected to actually get something done with 129 dollars but I ended up having to pay double. The guy was really good but its kind of deceiving when you pay the amount and think we should have like 3 little things looked at and you end up paying double. They were really nice but it was kind of disappointing. He was punctual. I liked that came out but I didn't like their deceit. He doesn't own the company, he just happens to be the electrician that came out. This was the first time I used this company.

It was fair. They were late. They promised the time and they didn't get prompt to it. They got back to me.

All done well and within about 16 hours. Couldn't ask for more.

Nothing. Bed service. Good plan. Bad execution.

Dan, the electrician, came and changed the fuse box service panel to an increased amp circuit breaker panel. Three days after installation, we lost half of the house electricity. Dan came promptly to check and advised that there must have been a power surge and also tightened up the outside meter. The next afternoon the same thing occurred again. I was contacted by another electrician through an app that Murphy had me download separate from Angie's List when I sent a panic request out. That electrician recommended that I contact the power company. When the power company came out, there was a problem with the meter and asked why the base unit was not upgraded with the service panel. The service panel was upgraded Fromm 150 amps to 200. The meter was 100 amps. This is when Murphy stopped communicating with me and I had to call a new electrician to come out and change the meter base and upgrade the wiring and proper grounding which cost me an additional $1500.00. He said the original price I paid to Murphy was fair had they done everything that should have been done. Murphy's electrician was prompt and polite with the exception of 2 inappropriate, personal comments.

Eric did a wonderful job. He was on time, went beyond what was needed to make sure everything worked well, cleaned up beautifully and was extremely pleasant. We recommend him and his company.

It wasn't a deal at all. It was very overpriced. There were other deals that were advertised like 2 hours for $129. These guys charged me $229 for 51 minutes of work. It was very overpriced for labor and for parts. The pricing was awful. The work was okay but if you're paying double of what you should pay, they are a D overall.

Microwave was installed on existing kitchen circuit and would pop when used with other appliances were on or furnace was running. Turns out it hadn't been installed correctly and needed to be on its' own dedicated circuit. Provider analyzed situation and designed a plan that was simple, to the point, and non-evasive to the existing cabinetry and wiring. The dedicated circuit for the microwave has proven ideal and issue has been happily resolved. Provider was super friendly and professional, answered my questions and concerns, and came prepared with all the necessary equipment, supplies, and knowledge to attend to the situation.

Don't bother using this company's services. I called to order service after purchasing the special deal. Their "magic app" that they tell you to download has multiple bugs. The company did not return my calls in a timely manner. They are not interested in providing good customer service. I sought a refund so I can take my business elsewhere.

It was fine. It cost under $250 on top of the Big Deal price. They weren't able to solve the problem on the spot. They were able to come up with a short term fix and required a return visit for a more definitive repair. I found someone else who could do it for me.

The $129 for $200 deal is not a real money saver. This company charges a lot of money just to show up, so you end up getting a half hour of work for $129, bottom line. It went fine, nothing spectacular. The electrician was not able to make the ceiling light flush with the ceiling (it's a weird set up); it is certainly possible to do but not really worth paying more if an electrician is reluctant to do it. It would have involved more than just electrical such as fabrication. In that regard, I would give the electrician a B- since a great electrician would have been prepared to do the work. The electrician did not have all of the materials on hand, even outlet covers.

The actual service call went great. The electrician was able to quickly diagnose and resolve the problem quickly and even took the time to walk me through the issue. My only beef with this company was that they really pushed a new App that the owner is apparently trying to field. I'm all for innovation, and I am an enormous proponent of app development for the services industry. But they essentially tried to require me to use the app to pay for the service. Only when it did not work did they relent and let me pay for the service by check. In the future, if you want to tie your service delivery to an app, you should probably alert customers to that fact to give them the choice of whether to sign up for service in the first instance.

They came and did a good job. We had one GFI hidden in an obscure closet that was turning off the outside light and we couldn't find it. He found it.

Dan showed up promptly, did the work quickly, and was gone--all within the allotted time of the Angie's List deal. Very professional. I'd definitely recommend him and use him again.

It was difficult to get the company to come out. The person they sent was awesome. I'd hire him again. It was costly, more than I expected above the "coupon" I'd paid for.
