Great communication by phone and text appointment confirmations. Arrived on time. Electrician Dave is friendly and considerate. Good work, better than expected because he was able to fish wiring behind drywall. Helped with troubleshooting remote controller and also replaced a fire detector battery at a high ceiling. Cleaned up afterward. Easy payment and very reasonable. Recommended!

Michael did a great job! He was prompt and wasted no time getting to work on my projects. He was clearly experienced, knowledgeable and proficient and all work was done quickly, neatly and proficiently.

I had originally scheduled the service for a Tuesday. On Monday I received a call from Cortes, the electrician to see if it would be ok for him to stop by on Monday instead. As it turns out it was even more convenient and he was here within 15 minutes. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable and cleaned up after his work was done.

My appointment was rescheduled 3 times and ended up wasting 3 mornings waiting for the electrician before being notified that they were not coming. Extremely unprofessional and each time I had to wait about a week before they had an opening to reschedule. I will be looking for a new electrician to do the work.

Murphy Family services was excellent. They did superb work at a great price. The technician they sent to my home was first rate and very nice to deal with. I also really enjoyed working with Sean at the main office. I will use them whenever I am in need of electrical work. I cannot recommend Murphy Family Services highly enough.

Overall, my appointment went great. My initial conversation to schedule my appoint was easy and the communication from the company was effective especially since the company had to reschedule my appoint due to inclement weather. Communication through the project was timely with routine reminders for the scheduling of the appointment and reminder texts and emails. Cortez was assigned to this project and did an exceptional job. He called to let me know he was on his way, arrived ahead of the scheduled time, and was pleasant to deal with and very professional. His work was neat and orderly. Even when he ran into a unique problem with the ceiling fan blades, Cortez remained calm, figured out a workable solution, and completed the installation expeditiously. Cortez took his time and ensured there was minimal damage to the wall and ceiling during installation. A very satisfactory interaction.

The technician arrived on time to diagnose a problem created by a previous electrician's improper work. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the improperly installed outlet with the correct one and ensured that it was connected to the correct circuit.

Really well.. will only be hiring them. Wish they did other things too.

No phone number that I could find that would get a person on the phone. Was redirected to website. Scheduled appointment online. The electrician that arrived smelled and looked horrible. He smelled like he had smoked 10 cigarettes just prior to arriving and my house smelled for hours after he left. He arrived in a dirty hoodie and casual clothes, not professional at all. He checked my outlets. Did not provide a receipt or bill. Just took my credit card via his phone SQUARE charger and then I was texted a "receipt" that just showed the amount. I cannot use this as a receipt. I called and emailed the company for a proper receipt and never heard back.

The service is excellent. He was always on time. I just can't say good enough things about him.

The service and quick response time from the owner over the weekend was great. Coupon did not work for my chosen services, I did not understand this but Mr Murphy offered something else, which allowed their company to add van gas charge. I hate hidden cost. Not a lot but should be cleared up front.

Erik came and hung my light over my stairs, he did a great job. The ceiling was extremely high, he had to get a special ladder to change the fixture. He was polite, professional and changed the light quickly. I would definitely hire Murphy again for my electrical needs.

everything was great except the electrician did not have a part that was needed. He mentioned he could go to Lowe's to pick it up but I assumed that they would add that onto the time of the call and be more expensive. I took the piece off of a lamp that we currently did not use in the house and he use that. I just felt he should have been more prepared. Other than that everything is great

Great! Erik was meticulous & very professional. Also a nice guy. Would definitely recommend & use him again. The whole thing took about 90 mins. The light was a bit of a pain 'cause some links had to be removed from the chain from the fixture and other chains added to suspend the shade, but the price seemed very reasonable to me. Also, when I called to make the appt someone returned my call within 30 mins and scheduled the appt right away. Appreciate this very much, as well.

Tech was a little late but the install didn't take very long and everything worked and looked good after he was done. I've used them before for similar services and will probably use them again in the future.

Outstanding!!! By far one of the finest installations that I have had performed in my home over the last 30 years. Eric who performed the installation is a master at recessed light installation. After a brief survey of my existing lighting and my new requirements he went right to work. He made only two (2) 6"x 6" drywall ceiling cuts to complete the 11 light installation. I envisioned that my ceiling would require major drywall work when he finished and my requirement to hire a drywall contractor. In fact he did such great job in his ceiling entry work I completed the drywall patch work myself. He took advantage of my existing wiring to tie all lights in and replaced existing switches with ones that provided a dimmer capability. If you are thinking of having recessed LED lighting installed and don't hire Murphy Family Services and Eric specifically you're missing out on a great opportunity to spruce up your home with a quality lighting job (Oh! don't forget that you have to buy the LED lights and switches but at today's prices they're a real bargain.
