Description of Work: Switched out two outdoor lights and created an outlet in the island from an existing wire. A too long screw was used so there is a small hole in the island wall. We bought a Big Deal. Additional costs were $172 after the big deal.

Description of Work: I was not happy with the quote as it seemed excessive and they were not able to explain why the cost was so high. I chose another company instead.

Description of Work: The deal sounded great, but when I called it turned out I was basically buying 15 minutes of service when you counted all of their add on fees. Definitely disappointing and I would never use this company in the future.

Description of Work: The electrician called first, then promptly provided the job. Was flexible when I added tasks, and charged only for additional parts. He tested and was off. Would use again, and recommend!

Description of Work: They removed a ceiling fan and replaced it with a new one. They were prompt, friendly and very careful and considerate. They cleaned up everything and removed the old fan and placed it outside for me.

Description of Work: This company scheduled a morning appointment with me for Sept. 2. On the day of the appointment, the service man phoned to let me know he would be unable to come because the tags on the company truck were expired. He told me the company would call to reschedule. I have never heard a word from them, either to re-schedule or to apologize. They probably do good work, but I'll find someone else.

Description of Work: The technician was prompt but the cost of the service was no where close to what o paid in the end. I ended up spending an additional $200 to partially complete the job.

Description of Work: Had a overloaded/sparking junction box beneath the sink - previous owner wired the sink disposal and the dishwasher on the same 20A (15A? not sure) wire, which smoked/sparked when both were used concurrently. He fixed the wire and recommended a new circuit for the dishwasher, but that was out of our budget at the time. He recommended to not use the sink disposal and dishwasher concurrently to mitigate the risk, but stressed that a new circuit needed to be run once we remodel. He was on time, courteous and efficient. I would hire them again.

Description of Work: Murphy Electric was very accommodating and responsive. However, I was under a time constraint and found another company that could do the work sooner.

Description of Work: We had part of a circuit without power. The technician was very methodical in tracing the break. He found it, repaired it, and put all the outlets he disconnected back. One switch was put back upside down, but told him not to bother.

Description of Work: Overall the experience was fine. I did not require service (managed to fix the issue myself) so there was never any interaction between us other than our initial contact after purchasing the big deal.

Description of Work: Replaced service entrance electrical distribution panel board. They showed up when scheduled and completed the work on schedule.
