A returned phone call would be nice.
Description of Work: They came out, told me they would get an estimate back to me, but I never could get them to return my calls again. I wasn't trying to get a repair through home warranty, but the next person I called (who fixed the problem within an hour) said Thorn probably thought I was and may not want to deal with those.

We had a previous estimate that seemed like we were being taken for a ride and Thorns came in wth a realisitc and fair estimate and did not hype up what problems existed.

This was through my home owners warranty. It was not a good experience. The ac went out and when he showed it it was working. I called him the next day when it stopped again and he wanted to charge me the service call again.
Description of Work: I had a problem with my ac and he checked it out.

I am sorry you had a bad expierence with a warranty company. After reading your response I feel this rating is more towards the warranty company than it is against Thorns. We have had problems with the same warranty company not paying invoices and not covering the systems therefore we no longer sub contract for this comany. From reviewing the invoice it appears the homeowner called in to the warranty company for service in June of 2011. Upon our arrival the homewoner stated her husband kicked the condenser and now it was working. We then got another call from the home warranty company to return to the house. Upon our arrival we found the compressor was shorted to ground. We contacted the warranty company about replacing the compressor and was advised it was not covered under the homewners plan. I talked with the home owner several times during this process trying to get the warranty company to cover the unit. During this time the homewoner never said anything to me about our service. According to our records the homeowner only paid one service fee for the two calls. I wish the homeowner would have told me if they felt the service from our company was not up to par. I will contact the homewner and see if there is anything I can do to resolve the issue they are having with my company. Being that the call was serviced in June of 2011 and we are just now hearing about the problem I am not real sure what can be done but we will definately look for a solution. It is our goal to make every customer 100 percent satisfied with our service.

Overall their service was very good. They were on time. We still continue to use them in the future.
Description of Work: We use Thorn's Air Conditioning & Htg. They were here to do regular maintenance and to get the air-conditioning ready for the summer. They also installed some new contact points. We took a contract with them to do their seasonal maintenance in the fall and in the spring.

Description of Work: I sold a property in Hewitt and the buyers moved in and the Heating was not working and it was cold. I called Thorn's Heating and Ricky was there within 30 minutes. The system was not wired correctly and he just rewired it and charged a service call.

It was a young man that came through the insurance company and he did a great job. He was a new young man and he was very good to explain and give options. He did very professional work and he kept in touch with me while he ordered the parts. He was very quick to fulfill his job and what I needed done. He was very personable. I would use them again.
