Description of Work: Service was a check up for a AC system they installed 2 years ago. |Service Tech was several hours late, but did that day to say he would be late. |Service check up was through, questions asked and answered professionally and thoroughly. |While they did not perform any service I have not done, did not already do.. it was worth it to bring in a Tech to review the system, bounce questions off of and confirm the system is being maintained correctly and there are no issues with it we had missed or failed to recognize.

Description of Work: We hope to schedule a new unit in our office building next week. This is the second purchase from Lochridge P. The first was a couple of years ago. They are excellent! I cannot say enough about how prompt, courteous, and how they went the extra mile. This Lennox unit was a two stage heat pump and our utilities have reduced by about 50%. I like cool and it is!

Description of Work: We have a geothermal A/C system which not all organizations know how to fix. In one month Air Control tried three times to fix the problem and totally failed. In fact, they recommended we purchase a new unit at a cost of over $10,000. Lochridge-Priest fixed the problem in short order. We are very pleased with the service they provided and recommend them highly. The technician responded to our service request within 2 hours.

Description of Work: I had an older air conditioner and i took a tent like filter so i had this company over to look at and fabricate a rack to hold a standard filter. The tech looked at the unit and brought in 4 pieces of sheet metal bent in an L shape and 4 sheet metal screws. He proceded to install the filter holder and got a filter to place in the unit along with a second replacement filter for later use. I was then charges 169 for 4 small pieces of metal, 4 screws and 2 filters and work to install the metal pieces. I called the company to check on the cost and a charge is a charge. I never called them again.

+ -1 moreI awoke Friday morning to find our house was a a balmy 86 degrees. After looking a a few repair companies I placed a service call request through Lochridge's email service around 5am. A little after 8:30am I called to make sure we were in the queue. There list was already pretty full but I was assured someone would be out. Once the repairman arrived in the early afternoon it only took him 30 or 45 minutes to get us back up and running. He diagnosed the reason the compressor had stopped running (a part had failed due to the system being low on refrigerant). He also added refrigerant and found the source of our leak. All in all we were very please with the service. While I would not wish a failed AC system on anyone, I would recommend Lochridge-Priest to anyone needing service.

+ 0 moreThe technicians did a great job they had the work done by noon. Their was one person working on the A/C replacement, one person working on the Heating Unit, and two others working on replacing the Air Ducts. They were all very professional and nice people. I bought the heat pump unit in Dec. and the only complaint I have is that when it drops down below freezing the heat pump does not do much to warm the house. That problem can be fixed by pressing the AUX button on the thermostat . The A/C works just great in this Texas heat. I believe this unit has saved us money on our electric bill. I was able to get awesome rebates from both state and federal on this unit when I purchased it. In the future when I move to a bigger home I will definitively upgrade my A/C and Heating units to a heat pump unit with or without the rebates.
Description of Work: The technicians replace my old A/C and Heating unit. I also had new air ducts installed in my home. I have a small home 1,000 sq ft.

+ -1 moreWe were very pleased with the service. Before Steven made the appointment he told us a few things to check to see if that would fix the problem. When that didn't fix the problem he made the appointment. He was very courteous and professional and fixed the problem in a couple of minutes. We would definitely use this company again and in fact we will call them for service in a few weeks to make sure that everything else on the air conditioner is working properly before the heat of the summer hits. I can recommend this company. Thank you Angie's list for helping us to find someone this good!
Description of Work: The airconditioner went out in our son's house in Temple. We called at 11 am on Saturday morning and Steven responded very quickly. He was at our house about 2 hours later. He found a loose wire in the outside unit which he fixed within about five minutes. He only charged the basic $70 fee for coming out on a Saturday which I thought was very reasonable.

Description of Work: Replaced propane heater and air conditioner. Presented selected quotes, and identified rebate offered by Texas and tax credit offered by US, and a winter discount by their company. Prepared all documentation as required. Two installers were efficient, timely and friendly. Moved furniture and cleaned up. Very unexpectly happy experience with a necessary replacement.
