Very bad service! The person who came to do the service claimed we needed a New compressor and some other parts that had just been replaced. It turned out that he did not notice that a wire had come loose! Another employee at the company was reluctantly sent when we protested about his diagnosis, and that second employee found the problem and corrected it. We are glad they could fix it, but we have had some issues with wrong diagnosis and even price billing before, with them. Nevertheless, we will not be using them again.

I spoke to the owner and told him that I would pay $400. and I would not allow any of his workers to enter my property again. He accepted the offer. A friend who is a Federal Judge advised me to ignore the bill.

It did not go well at all. Very unprofessional; one of the workers constantly complained about the schedulers and management. it took twice as long for them to finish the job. They did not clean up the work site as promised. When mold was discovered around the fan they sent out a salesman. This salesman clearly was on commission and quoted me a figure well above $10,000. stating repeatedly that my family was in danger. Since this was not my first experience with a failing hvac system I showed him the alternative solution that cost less than $2,000. Once we got the money agreed upon the workers returned to install new unit. It didn't end there. The installers were called back several times when we discovered several things were improperly installed. When the owner came out he only made excuses. We will never do business with them again. Very disappointed in the whole experience. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed]. I am sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with the new install of your Air Conditioning and Hearing system by AireSmith. I looked into your account and our records show that your system was installed on 7/30/14. The install passed all of our internal quality control checks to include a comfort specialist coming out after the install to inspect the work and make sure that you where completely satisfied. After this was passed to San Antonio so that their inspector could verify our workmanship was to code. Everything passed and was to code, I do not see any water leaks or damage reported at that time. I do see that on 9/16/14 we sent one of our senior technicians out to check on a stain that you had reported on your ceiling. The technician completely traced all lines from the AC system and the auxiliary pans at the unit. He dig under the insulation and cleared it away so that he could check the drywall and found no evidence of water leaking from the AC piping. He also made sure that the drain was functioning properly and draining steadily. Our service manager came out a few days later to verify the technicians finding and found no evidence that the stain had come from the AC lines. Following this incident we have been servicing your system, most recently on 6/8/15. You had indicated that we performed work at your home on March 1st, I don't see any record of this. I would like to have you speak with our customer care representative so that we can make sure you are completely satisfied. Thank you again for submitting your review and I look forward to working with you to resolve your concern."

The heater was malfunctioning, and because there was still some warranty on the unit, I called the manufacturer. They directed me to a list of authorized dealers in the city that I had to use to get the warranty. I cross checked the dealer list with the companies on Angie's List. I selected Aire Smith. Called them on 1/4/2016 in the early afternoon. The tech arrived about an hour and a half latter. George was very professional, as well as, very knowledgeable. After he did the diagnostic test, explained everything to me that he had done and that the main circuit board was the problem. The circuit board had to be shipped in from Dallas and George told me that it would arrive on Wednesday, 1/6/2016, and that they would call me when they had it and he would be back out to install it and do all the tests to insure that the system functioned properly. The part arrived on Wednesday as promised and George was back to install it. He took time after the installation to explain to me and show me how the system worked and answered all my questions. Aire Smith is fortunate to have George on their staff. The heater has been working beautifully ever since.

Well, first off they spent a couple of hours here. They were not in and out like our past provider. Casey the technician really cared about our units working properly for the winter. He did a multi point inspection on several critical parts on the unit, and saw that due to installation error from the other guys 2 years ago, I had air leaking into attic. They also found the float switches attached to the water pans were not working and he tested to see if they would shut off units, they did not. Gave a fair price to replace both floats and said they do not need to be done now, but before spring. The heat strips on my down stairs unit were not coming on, and he got in touch with the manufacturer technicians who troubleshooted the unit for the correct fix. I could smell the heat strips come back on after he fixed them. He was very professional. He used shoe coverings when walking into my house and kept the place very clean. In order to fix the heat strips he had to come back on another day to troubleshoot with the manufacturer over the phone. He was here for at least another hour and a half. Also, my installers did not properly put the warranty paperwork in place for my units and Colleen the office person called on my behalf to verify warranties and spoke with me at least through 2-3 phone calls to verify other information and take care of a situation for me. From the staff to the technician they were very caring. Airesmith now has my business as long as they continue to be fair, professional, clean, responsive, helpful and reasonable. I wish I contacted them to install my units and service them from day one. I will continue to spread the word of the great service we received from them.
