If I had to rate this company 1 to 10 it would be a minus 100. What should have been a 2 week project to to us by the owner ending up being almost 3 months. The owner was quick to ask for his money installments but never quick to complete each phase of the project. The owner always told us tomorrow and never showed up, there was no follow through call or to me the worst part no apology. The crew was lazy they spent most time on their phones or smoking cigarettes. The always left a mess behind. They messed up on the decking the owner agreed it was messed up but did not offer to replace it, but after three weeks of the job at a stand still. We agreed to live with it just to move the job along. While digging for the piping they cut our electrical sprinkler wires the owner did not say sorry or offer to repair of fix it, we could not let our grass die so we had to hire someone to fix it for $250. After so many times of promises of when they would be out to finish we got tired of looking at the mess and unfinished work. We finished cleaning the tile that was full of cement and plaster, we removed the dirt they dug out that sat there for almost 3 months. The air blower was installed incorrectly. So my husband researched on line and properly installed it himself. We also bought our own air jets and O ring for the (new) pump because the owner lost it and then installed the wrong size. After spending the money of filling the pool up with water we noticed the return lines to the pool leaked. The pool never leaked before we mentioned it to the owner and informed him he needs to fix it. Again he showed no urgency to fix it but in the mean time all the water we filled the pool with needed to be circulated. He said he would fix it but after 2 weeks we had to pay someone else $260 to fix it. Found there were 2 leaks-one where the steak holding a form for the concrete deck was driven through a return line and another line for the Polaris had a gouge in it from a shovel. We just got tired of the owner saying I will do it, I will be out there and never showing up. We are very dissatisfied with their work ethics and practice and I would highly advise not giving them your business. This was a lot of money that we saved up for and spent on this project and I really feel robbed on the service that we received or actually did not receive.

1. When he sold us on the pool, he promised the pool will be done in 3 weeks, weather permitting. He started the construction on July 29, 2013. Our pool still has a few outstanding items he failed to complete and today is October 11, 2013, almost 11 weeks later. For example, he still has not switch from chlorine to salt because he failed to show up for last 2 ½ weeks. We are going to contact another pool company to finish this. 2. Bait and Switch: When he sold us on the pool, he sold us on the LED pool lights with different colors since we can control from the remote control. I even showed him another competitor?s bid, so we are can compare both bids accurately. Since our kids will be using the pool mostly, we ensured that the programmable LED pool lighting will be installed along with two bubblers and water feature. On the contract, he put ?LED lighting?. However, he installed a basic LED pool light, instead of the programmable LED light. When asked, he said we agreed on the basic LED pool light, and would cost another $700 to upgrade. This is just one example and if anyone needs more information, feel free to contact me. 3. During construction, machinery and workers tore up the lawn both front yard and around the pool. When asked him to fix it, he refused and referred to the contract, ?not responsible for any damage during construction?. 4. I cannot recall how many times he promised to show up, but no show. Sometimes no one showed up for over a week. He came out on September 10th to turn on the pump for the first time. However, he installed a defected pump with a part missing (a quarter-size plug) and it was leaking water over night. When called him the next day, he promised to show up on Wed and asked me to fill up the pool again. At this point, the water level was about 5 inches below where it should have been. However, he didn?t show up until September 13, Friday to discover that he installed a defected pump. After he uninstalled the pump, he didn?t power off the system. Again we wasted another 5 inches of water from the pool. From Sept 10th ? Sept 15th, the pool was refilled 4 times (5 inches of water level). 5. There was a change order to supply electricity from one side of the house to where the pool equipments are. He dug a long stretch of trench, about 18 inches deep, to lay pipes in the backyard. The trench was dug on Aug 31, but he did not properly fill it until the third week of Sept. Because he stopped showing up to finish the job, my kids (both under age of 3) could not go out to the backyard during that time. When he was digging on Aug 31, he damaged 3 ? 4 sprinkler pipes along the way. Since natural gas pipe line and electrical lines run through the backyard, Hayward who performed the work, advised Daniel to dig the trench manually, instead of using a machine. Daniel completely disregarded safety for his crew and my house and told Hayward to finish digging with the machine. He didn?t address the sprinkler issues for over 2 weeks. Since then I have spent over $1,000 to fix everything he refuses to fix. I don?t want anything from this guy since he now refuses to show up because he feels threaten by us. I certainly don?t anyone to fall into his deceitful and, at times, shady business practices however.
