Albert Halfon and his two-man crew were wonderful to work with. In the showroom, Albert was very informative and answered all of our questions. He came out to the house, took measurements, and let us know how much the job would cost based on the laminate we chose - around $4,800. The only thing we could not know was how many bags of leveling compound our house would need, and unfortunately for us, we needed 17 (at $40.00 per bag) because the cement floors were so uneven. But the cost was worth it, because we know the job was done right. The crew arrived on a Monday and were finished by Thursday afternoon! They are very good at what they do and worked non-stop. We would definitely use Floors Galore by Halfon again!

Al drove out to our future home and gave us the estimate before we moved in, then his installer put the carpet in the day after we closed. We have a quality product that will last for years and the installer carefully lined up the pattern between room changes and on the stairs.

Very good experience. I first went to visit Floors Galore by Halfon when looking at several potential flooring companies. At the store, Albert was helpful and answered questions but was very low-key and not a pushy salesman. After visiting several other companies and getting a couple of estimates I decided to go with Albert's company because of his excellent ratings and competitive price quote. He was able to get me the flooring that I wanted even though it was not in his showroom (I had found the flooring elsewhere) and the underpad I wanted (Quiet Walk). I would say that Albert was not especially talkative or spontaneously informative (i.e., he did not volunteer a lot of info to educate me); I had to specifically ask everything I wanted to know about the process and the products. Thus, I was very glad that I had done a lot of research online and knew what questions to ask. He was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. Ordering and scheduling went smoothly. Marcos, who was in charge of the actual installation, was very personable, helpful, and skillful. I must admit that when he showed up with two young men who looked like teenagers to help him, I was a bit concerned about how young they were and how professional they would be. But Marcos was clearly in charge and supervised them, and the work was done very well. They were also careful with furniture and cleaned up after themselves very well when the job was done. Albert called at the end of the job to make sure the installation had been done to my satisfaction and to confirm the payment arrangement for the remaining balance. I absolutely LOVE my floors and am very happy with my choice of flooring and with having chosen to use Floors Galore by Halfon for the installation.

I used Floors Galore because of Angies rating. Also it was the first place that I could get the flooring, tile, and granite that I wanted all at the same place. I thought the price was reasonable because I did not expect to get granite countertops within my budget. It took about a day longer than I expected but I had no problem with the results and the workmen. They were very helpful and accomodating.

We began by visiting with Albert Halfon in his Stafford showroom. Mr. Halfon showed us many samples and explained the difference between the available products. He was very knowledgeable, professional and patient. He was very careful to make certain we understood the price. The materials were ordered and within a couple of days Mr. Halfon called and made arrangements for the installation. The next day, two gentlemen arrived at my home to install the floors. They were punctual, professional and did an awesome job. We are so incredibly happy.

Albert Halfon came to our home to give us a bid. He was direct and to the point. He was quick with his measurements. He answered all our questions with frank honesty. He was the last bidder that came to our home and to be honest, his no-nonsense efficiency was refreshing and alarming at the same time. He is a man of few words. However, we could tell that this guy knew what he was doing and and we had a real sense of security that our home would be in good hands with his company doing the installation. His installers are his own crew that he employs all the time. They were skilled and they took pride in their workmanship. We were very satisfied with the work. My perfectionist husband found fault in a couple of areas that needed caulking between stair treads. Mr. Halfon responded by sending his crew back to the home and now the stairs are perfect. To top it off, he was the low bid. Next year we are going to replace all our counter tops in kitchen and bath and we plan to call Floors Galore By Halfon because he does granite counter tops, too.

The team at Floors Galore was punctual and knowledgeable. They had a great selection and worked with us on various tile and wood floor options. We ultimately went with another company, but I have since recommended Floors Galore to several people.

They were excellent. The carpet, the tile, it was perfect. I would use them again, and I recommend them. They were professional, and would call before hand. They also called to follow-up. We loved everything. I'm very picky, and I'm impressed

We were in the middle of a remodel when it was determined unfortunately at the last minute the carpet needed to be replaced upstairs as well as some walk in closets on the first floor. This was after 3000 sq. feet of hardwoods, as well as a wooden staircase and a pair of 2nd floor landings were immaculately replaced and refinished. The biggest worry was the collateral damage that happens whenever workers come into the home to fix or replace something. They come to fix whatever they were trying to fix but break something else, requiring another worker to come out - and they break something and this cycle goes on to infinity. Knowing that the carpet installers were going to have to remove old carpet from upstairs and bring in new carpet caused a bit of worry about the aforementioned "collateral damage" thing. I dropped by Floors Galore and was met by a salesperson who was personable and easy to work with. He set up a time for his workers to come to the house and measure the rooms where the carpet needed to be replaced. A day or so before the measurement was scheduled, Floors Galore called at 4:30 in the afternoon and asked if now might be a good time for them to measure. This was more than fine with me as it meant the carpet would be installed sooner. I explained I was 1/2 way across town and would have to deal with afternoon traffic and they said no problem and they would wait until I arrived. I met two of the installers at the house - they quickly and carefully measured all the rooms, took a bit of the old carpet to be matched and they were on their way. The next morning I got a call from Floors Galore telling me they had several choices that would match the existing carpet and asking me to come by when it was convenient. When I got to the store they had several samples laid out that matched the older carpet perfectly. They said it would take a couple of days to get the carpet in and then they would install it. Well as luck would have it Houston got several days of heavy rain so they had to postpone the install until the weather cleared up. I could imagine a lesser company would installl the carpet if it was raining or not. One afternoon when the sun finally came out I dropped by the house and boom - new carpets. I could not even tell anyone had been there other than the new carpet was in. The carpets were installed perfectly in every room and not a bit of evidence that anyone was here. All the old carpet was removed and the house was cleaned up and in perfect condition. If we ever have to get carpet again, we would go immediately to these guys without skipping a beat.

We needed carpeting replaced in a room that had previously flooded, and we needed it done on short notice the week before Christmas. I placed my initial calls to several companies on a Sunday, expecting to hear back from some of the companies on Monday, but Mr Halfon called me back promptly and assured me that he would be able to do the job that week. (I never even heard back from the others with whom I left messages) He offered to come to the house with samples but I decided to go to his store to choose the carpeting because I was going to be in that area. When I arrived he was prepared with a few samples of what he had on hand, at several different price points, and was patient and answered all of my questions. The installers arrived promptly the next morning at the time they said they would, and did a great job in just a few hours. We are really pleased with the service we received and will definitely call them again when we are ready to replace the other floors in our house.

The job took about 3 days. The workman were very prompt and on time. They did a good job. We are very pleased with the end results.

Professional painters... Albert came by and gave a good estimate and we followed up by dropping by his store in Stafford and picked out the colors at the Sherman Williams just down the road. They did what they said and did it in a timely fashion. I read reviews and looked up BBB. Felt comfortable proceeding with the work. Painted the entire home (walls, crown molding, baseboards, closets, etc), working around a schedule (hardwood floors being put in and stained). Service did not include risers and stairwells (but it wasn't in the quote). Removed studs, removed light switches, patched cracks and the dry walls. Finished a day early. Good guys, would use them again and would recommend them again. I was hesitant in using a 'flooring guy' but I suppose I'm here to let others know the paint job was done well and ahead of schedule.

My experience with Floors Galore was nothing short of professional. The staff was helpful and attentive. I went in looking to have my carpet redone, as well as some rooms painted in my house. After selecting samples that were brought out to my house (along with paint swatch's) I was able to determine what went best with my furniture/lighting. We settled on a date and time for the installers to come and put in the carpet/paint. Everything went as planned with no headaches. When the installation was done, the rooms were clean and it looked brand new. I was completely satisfied and will recommend them to family and friends.

It went great! We decided to finally do some remodeling in the house and decided to go with laminate, as it gives you that wood look without all the cost. We had heard of Floors Galore through some advertising on tv, and decided to check it out as it was local. The selection and staff were great. We were able to quickly pick out some samples we liked and set up a time for the measurements to be taken at our house for an adequate quote. When the measurements were taken the samples were also brought out so we could get a good look at how they blended with what we had (like other reviews have said -this seems to be the protocol). We received the quote that same day, and decided to go ahead with the job. The installation was quicker than what I thought it would be, but the crews were professional and quick! I was very pleased with the whole process. Next time we are thinking about remodeling, we will definitely be back!

I had heard about Floors Galore through a friend and when it was decided for a little home renovation we decided to check it out. Entering the showroom I was a little taken aback from the selection, but after getting some help from the staff and explaining what I was thinking about doing, we picked out some samples that we thought would look nice. A measurement was able to be taken that same day, and the samples were brought out to my house so we could make sure they looked good. We heard back within a couple hours with a bid that was reasonable to what we had been getting at other places, and decided to go with them since we had the recommendation from my friend. The installation crews were excellent. Very professional, and clean. I left them to do their work and when I came back everything looked amazing. No mess or anything. Great company, will recommend!

I went to floors galore while I was driving in the area and thinking about doing some carpet. Seeing the selection was great. They had everything from berber to shag so I was really able to look at a lot. I was just getting some information as I wasn't ready to buy for a while and was pleased with the service I got wasn't pressuring me to make a decision or purchase. When I was ready to buy I returned, picked out a couple of the samples I had seen before and had measurements done. A quote was given that was really a good price, so I signed up for installation. The crews arrived on time, did the job the way it was supposed to be done, and left the room clean! I was very pleased with the service, I'm probably going to be doing some tile soon and will definitely return!

It went great. I had granite counter tops and new tile placed on my bathroom floor and shower, and my roof done. I picked out the tiles from the vast selection at the showroom as well as my granite selection. We scheduled a date for when this would be done. The installers came and were very professional and efficient. The job was completed as scheduled, and the areas were cleaned. I will recommend Floors Galore to friends and family in the future for sure!

Everything went great. I heard about Floors Galore through friends, and decided to pay a visit to the show room. I was impressed with the selection. I picked out a couple samples, and the staff suggested some as well. We then set a date for a measurement to be taken so we could get an accurate estimate, they even brought out the samples we had picked to see how it would look with my furniture and wall color. After that we set a date for the installation. The installation professionals were just that, professional. Nice, clean, and quick, they finished the job and my house looked great! Will recommend to friends and family, great business!

Dealing with Floors Galore by Halfon was great! I was dealt with respectfully from start to finish. I had been shopping for some time to do a bathroom remodel in my home and had heard about Floors Galore through a friend. I visited the showroom where I met Albert Halfon. He showed me a wide range of different tiles and natural stones that fit my description of what I was looking for. After selecting a few samples, he brought them out to my house and we were able to see what they would look like in that lighting, along with the fixtures. After this we set a date for the installers to come and do the remodel and paint. The installation crews were on time, friendly, and cleaned everything up leaving no mess behind. The whole experience was pleasant and I would do business again!

Previous work was excellent and great professionalism seen with all personnel. Would definitely recommend the company and continue to utilize the company for future renovations to my home and to my family near by.
