Stan arrives on time, keeps you informed while he is working, totally professional. He charges you exactly what he quotes for a job.
I have used Stan's Universal Air for 10 years to service the air conditioning and heating systems in my 2 unit duplex.
I also had him install new exterior A/C compressor units on both sides of the duplex about 4 years ago. Totally satisfied with the improved A/C performance and installation.

false estimates of un needed work and who charge ridiculously high prices if you take the baitand quot;, he said.

I had innocently used one of the unscrupulous a/c repair outfits for a and quot;tune upand quot; and gotten scare tactics from their employee. (and quot;It 's apt to go out any day nowand quot;).

From start to finish it went very smoothly. The problem was quickly identified, a quote was given for repairs, and he had it ordered and installed just as promised. He gave us some recommendations on how to better take care of our system while doing a very thorough check of everything. My wife and I are quite happy with him, his professionalism, and his thoroughness. When he does a check you feel like he's going to be very careful and only fix what is broken or needs repairing. We have a serviceman that is friendly, professional, and personable. We definitely do not feel like we'll be taken to the cleaners.

Stan is very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. He tried to locate a new, matching condenser unit, since the old one was 12 years old and the air handler unit (only 4 years old) is a different manufacturer. No success, so went with a repair.

My central A/C wasn't cooling as efficiently as it should. I first called one of the big companies close to my house. Two technicians came out, hosed out the outside coils, put a set of gauges on my outside unit and told me I needed a new compressor. I called Stan Brant at Universal Air after a referral from some dear friends. He checked my system over and serviced the compressor with two pounds of freon. He told me that I didn't need to replace the compressor at this time. My A/C is cooling fine again! Stan is very honest and reasonably priced. I will call on him again when it's time for a new unit. I highly recommend Universal Air. Stay away from the big guys with the multiple page ads in the book! They gotta pay for all the overhead somehow.

Can't say enough good things! I called at 2:14 pm. He arrived at my house by 3:30 pm same day, did just what I asked and at a very reasonable price, too. Wish I could give him a higher grade than A.

He came when he said he would and didn't mind explaining what he was doing as he made the change over.

We've been using them for years, and several years ago, our air conditioner broke. Universal discovered that a rodent had eaten the wiring and repaired it very inexpensively. They always give us a report, are very professional and courteous, and we've had no problems other than the one mentioned between visits.
