FWR was excellent! Everyone we worked with, Tracy, Nora, and everyone else was awesome. The work they completed was excellent, they helped us with all the paperwork for the insurance company, and everything was done in a timely manner. We appreciate all they did and highly recommend them to anyone who has any repairs that need to be done.

The contractor is a USAA approved contractor. From start to finish they were excellent. The PM, Nora Ramirez,maws exceptional!

Our supervisor was Nora Ramirez and she gets full marks for all services provided. I had to deal with our HOA on some of the work and it was necessary to visit the FWR office on Oblate St. What a great group of people. We recommend FWR without reservation.

Nick Renneker and Fernando Barrera were wonderful!! During a complete interior renovation they kept me involved at every step. They explained the entire process and stayed on top of all contractors to make sure of a quality job. They were always involved and extremely easy to work with. FWR gets my GOLD STAR for customer service. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Excellent service. The senior estimator (I regretfully fail to recall his name), took felt I was being under-reimbursed by my home insurance company. He offered to meet with my insurance adjuster and convinced him to rework his original estimate resulting in my insurance company sending a second check to cover several thousand dollars in additional repairs. My hero! Tracy is also a gem. Highly recommend.

Fernando and his team are amazing!! From the first person I met, Nick, who guided me to the last, Joe who came through to the end. There is nothing negative for me to say. Fernando was there everyday if not on the phone. This project start to finish took several weeks and for the circumstances I could not have picked a better contractor. I was over at the house every day to watch the progress of the repairs. FWR worked with State Farm as a team with me. They made sure that any additional repairs were approved that needed to be done. The Sr. Construction Manager was most helpful and made any changes I wanted cheerfully. The Customer Service Manager held my hand throughout the entire process. The work was finished well and timely. Even after the job was complete, FWR was still there for me to be sure I was happy. I would definitely use FWR in the future. I would also refer them to others.

It was painless for us..........as we were forced to move all the contents of our home into storage, we were living in temporary housing and were fortunate to come and check on the progress of their services on a daily basis. Plus, we had cameras in our home to help us coordinate the progress of the repairs. Their crews were always on time and courteous. We particularly loved Erik Salazar.......he is so polite and so thoughtful with respect to keeping us informed in all aspects of the daily work schedule. And, they always kept us informed as to what/when/where we were in the clean up process and the reconstruction They managed all the paperwork in dealing with the mortgage company that oh by the way were awful and difficult to work with, but we fortunately did not have to suffer through that portion of the business associated with constant follow up and reissuing of documents they seemed to always require. They thankfully worked with them to insure all aspects of our holding funds would be processed accordingly. We were safe from all fronts associated with details. Thankfully, they took care of everything, including coordinating whatever was necessary with our insurance claims adjuster. My husband and I have absolutely no hesitation recommending FWR General Contractors to anyone we might run across asking for a recommendation. As a matter of fact, I've already passed their name on to a dear friend of mine that had a roof leak. She is also very pleased.

I contacted FWR to give me a bid on repairing damage to my house due to an electrical fire. FWR sent Nick Renneker out within 24 hours to survey the damage and give me a cost estimate and time frame to repair the damage. FWR then sent their work foreman Fernando Barrera out to coordinate the work. The drywall where water damage occurred in the hallway was repaired and taped and the popcorn ceiling texture was removed. The ceiling was re-textured and the ceiling and walls were repainted. The interior of the garage was repainted. The drywall repair and repainting took 2 days. The painters were very detailed, fast and professional. After all the ceiling insulation was removed by another company, an FWR insulation team replaced all the attic insulation to meet city codes. The insulation team was fast, thorough and courteous. The insulation replacement took half a day. After all the work was complete, the foreman, Fernando Barrera came out and did an inspection of all the work and made sure I was completely satisfied. A few days later, FWR called to follow up and check that everything was as I wanted and expected. Although the costs of the repairs were covered by insurance, I thought they were very reasonable. The workmanship, professionalism, and coordination were outstanding.

FWR, General Contractors did an excellent job with my remodel. They had great attention to detail and did everything I said to do. They were pleasant finished work in a timely manner. I would highly highly recommend them.

First and foremost, the quality of workmanship was excellent. We always expect some problems with remodeling. But, the hallmark of an excellent contractor is how these problems are corrected with they arise. In our project, the problem was a two-tone color in the grout that became evident after it dried. We allowed FWR the opportunity to correct this problem by using an acid wash. This did not work. When it didn't, FWR proceeded to remove the initially installed grout and replace it. This did delay our project longer than we would like, but the replaced grout looks great and was well worth the wait. Second, my original budget for this project was $5,000 (I underestimated the cost of tempered glass). The initial estimate from FWR was $3,675.35 and an additional $1,808.77 from Durwood's Glass for the tempered glass, frameless shower enclosure. Total cost was $5,484.12. There were no charges for any 'extras' or any cost overruns. Our project was completed in 30 calendars days from start to finish. Third, this was a present from me to my bride on our 43rd wedding anniversary. She is very happy with the results. Lastly, obtaining quality materials and workmanship does not have to 'break the bank'. Another contractor gave me an estimate of more than $12,000 for exactly the same work. And, this was after I told them my budget was $5,000. We recommend FWR General Contractors and Durwood's Glass without reservation. Hope this helps!

Good work and good price

They did an excellent job. It was very well-managed and I was very pleased.

FWR was a recommended contractor of State Farm. We also looked at their rating on Angie's List and they looked good. The replacement was done very well. My beef with them is their responsiveness and timeliness to get the job done. What was supposed to take a few weeks, actually took about 7 weeks. I felt as if my job was always put on the back burner for larger jobs they may have had in the works. There was several weeks where virtually nothing was done. I also contracted with them to do some additional painting for me, beside the State Farm repairs. I chose the paint color, but not the finish, as they never asked me what I wanted. They decided that I would want a satin finish in my bedroom, without even consulting me. It was very shiny and looked very tacky. I was told over the phone that it was the standard finish most people used, so I should want it too. The contractor was pretty snotty to me about it, until he came and looked at it himself. He then agreed that it was not acceptable and repainted it. Again, the shower job was done very well. I am just not happy with being treated as an after thought and the length of time it took to complete.

Was looking for someone to provide production/sound for my work event. I was lucky to find this company. They did an amazing job. Showed up early, went above and beyond. Would recommend them to any. Amazing service at a VERY fair price. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE

They were really great and they were very responsive. They showed up and gave me the estimate. I ultimately just ended up with somebody else because it was more competitively priced. I think he came out the day after Christmas and take a look and within 48 hours, I had a quote. Their quote was the highest I got.

FWR was very professional & I appreciated the on time service.

This is the second time I've used them for a remodel. I would use them again if I needed that.

They were very professional. They had a project manager on site daily to make sure the project went smoothly. We were very pleased and would recommend them to all our friends and family.
