Yuras Roofing

Two phone calls and a message each time were left with this company requesting information about a roofing estimate. The second phone call to them *(approximately a week later) I gave a detailed message including explaining a previous message had not been returned. I did see in the reviews that this had been a complaint before about this company and the company wrote that they had talked to someone. In my case they absolutely did not respond to either call.

They were awesome. Robert was job supervisor and was very helpful in understanding our needs and making recommendations. I did visit other locations where Yuras had installations. All had high recommendations.

The process went smooth and they did not try to over sell me on products for the project. The crew was professional and cleaned up both days of the project before leaving. It was a first for me that they didn't ask for any payments until the project was completed and I was satisfied with the work. Yuras Roofing is a company I'd use again as I believe they can be trusted.

The roofers were always on time and worked steadily the entire time they were here. A cheerful bunch. The project took them 2 1/2 days. The painters were here longer because the removal of popcorn involved doing a lot of preparation work, including shrouding the interior of the house in plastic sheeting, but they were friendly and easy to work around. They didn't take breaks either, staying even through their lunch time and cleaning up very thoroughly when they were done. I don't think we could have asked for a more professional group of people to swarm our house.

We have used them over 10 times. They are super personable, and they do a great job. They are responsive, and cleanup after themselves.

I called and left a message, but I have never heard back from them. I may try to call again and see if they do respond.

We called Yuras Roofing for a quote and they came out within the week to assess our roof and provide us with roofing samples. The quote came quickly. We called three other companies--all from Angie's list --and received call backs and quotes from two. Yuras gave us the best quote and roofing options. Roof was up in two days. Work area was clean. Yuras has trucks that remove roofing at end of day. Everything looks pristine when you come home from work. Experienced team of sales and installation personnel who are polite and will answer any questions you may have. Highly recommend.

It went very well. They were always on time, worked all day and were very pleasant. The crew was great.

We heard many good things about this company, the first was five years ago when a family member used them. We called recently shortly after a bad storm and they were very busy and hard to reach on the phone-- had to leave messages and wait for call-backs. Once we had their bid and decided to use them, we called again for instructions on scheduling procedures. Another wait of about a week. Once we were scheduled things went better. They ended up doing us almost two weeks early. They worked long hours in the heat. All supplies were delivered before they started and each night the premises were left clean and orderly. Craig was very nice to work with. We are very pleased with the quality of their work and would use them again and recommend them to anyone on Angie's List.

They came out on the same day and walked on roof looked in sons room talked about gutters as well. He droped the estimate by a different day it was well with in our range and are going to use this company for sure. We just need to set up paper work with our insurance. I was happy to finally get a good fair quote after looking for so long.

After having several different roofing companies come over to give us an estimate we choose Yuras primarily because of the price Bryan Yuras quoted us. After we made our decision and signed the contract I found out that a few people we know had also used them in the past. This alone told us that we had made the right decision. Bryan and the crew showed up as promised at 9am Monday morning and we found out that the battery in one of our cars had died. Pancho took the battery out of his truck and put it in our car so that my husband could move it. This was reason number two we knew the right choice had been made. They worked until 7pm and were back bright and early Tuesday morning to finish the job. Pancho told me that his father and uncle had also worked for Yuras roofing and if I remember correctly he said for the past 26 years. Reason number 3. Bryan then came over Wednesday morning to go over our yard to do another clean up of nails and to check out his crews work. While I doubt that we will ever have to do this again anytime soon, I would encourage anyone out there in need of a new roof to contact the Yuras'. It's not every day that we write checks for this amount and I did do a lot of research before we signed on the x. I now know more about roofs than I ever thought I needed to and now know more about roofing companies than I ever thought I would want to. I promise you that if you choose Yuras, you'll be making the right choice.

Mr Yuras came to my home, immediately demonstrated a friendly and professional demeanor. With every item on the roof (vents, chimney, etc) he explained installations, water flow aspects and so on. In examining the job he noted fascia that should be replaced that is under the metal drip edge; replacing this while the drip edge is up -- during the re-roofing job -- is included in his bid. Competitors did not look at this sort of thing at all. His words were professional and to the point, explaining to my level of understanding. He gave me a lot of information without being chatty or making the estimate process go for an excessive amount of time.

Yuras Roofing Co did a great job, had to come back to remove the satellite dish due to miscommunication, honored the request without any question

Everyone I spoke with at Yuras Roofing was very friendly and courteous. Calls were returned promptly. The grounds were left very clean and no damage to plants. I haven't found one roofing nail - cleanup was very thorough.

Overall they did a very good job. They were careful and they did a good clean up on the job. They always asked questions on where they could put their equipment and if it was okay to be there in case there was water or sewer lines around. When I had a question about anything after the job they came right out and went over it with me. They did a really good job, I was very satisfied. The price was excellent.

The entire process went very smoothly with Yuras Roofing Company. We have had bad experiences with contractors in the past, and were just thrilled to be working with such an amazing company. Bryan Yuras surveyed our home, provided shingle samples and recommendations, and then closely supervised the entire roofing event. He even took several hours out of his day to talk with us on the phone and walk around on the roof with us to describe in great detail the work he was doing and why. He is clearly an expert in his field. The complete re-roof was completed in just 1 1/2 days. The crew worked very hard to beat the rain that was headed in, and we greatly appreciated their dedication. His crew completely cleaned up at the end of every day (which we have never seen another contract do so thoroughly). And, Bryan himself made sure that when the job was complete that all nails and other debris were removed from our yard. Additionally, Bryan provided many services free of charge that were above and beyond what he had quoted. This extra level of service and committment was outstanding. Bryan Yuras was the most capable and professional contractor that we have ever met. We wish everyone we worked with was of his caliber. We highly recommend Yuras Roofing Company.

From the first phone call requesting an estimate to the final shingle on the roof, this was one of the least stressful repairs I have ever experienced. Professionalism from each and every employee at this company. Bryan was on the job site every day, to be certain it was going smoothly, his crew arrived on time, and when they left each evening the only thing remaining was the dumpster needed for the next days work. They cleaned as they went, and repeatedly checked to be certain no nails were left to damage tires. Just a great experience all around. When you spend that amount of money (which included new leafless gutters too), you anticipate a certain level of service. Bryan and his crew at Yuras delivered beyond my expectations. I got a Texas Vet loan in which Mr. Yuras went above and beyond his respondsibility by filling out paperwork and having to go and sign on 2 seperate occasions paperwork at the closing office. He also had to sign and notirize paperwork after the job was finished. My roof is beautiful and my house has a real curb appeal. The workmen took 1 and a half days to tear off the old roof and put on the new roof. They were very professional and they worked very hard. My roof also has a limted life time warranty (roughly 50 years). It has been 2 days since the roof was completed and I have not seen any problems. I would recommend Yuras roofing company to everyone.

They are a family run organization. The person I dealt with was just excellent! They were patient and accommodating.

Robert Yuras came out the day we called. We walked around the house and discussed problem areas and what we'd like. We also told him we'd had an exterminator out the day before to treat for carpenter ants in the sunroom roof. He said that if we bought ant killer, he would have it put down under the new shingles. He showed us a sample board of shingles and we selected one. He said he would email us a bid within a couple of days. He did. We said we wanted to go forward and they came out and started work about a week later. In the meantime we went to Lowes and bought 8 lbs of Diatomaceous Earth (crawling bug killer), one of the similar products used by exterminators. It is safe for indoor and outdoor use, even in gardens. As the roofers worked, they put down the ant killer. It took two days for the roofers to complete the job. The workers did a great job of keeping the work site clean as they worked. We highly recommend Yuras Roofing.
