NSI set the appointment, Tyler never called to confirm. I was told to call Tyler and did. No answer, but a strange answering machine. NSI tried to call and got the same result. Tyler never confirmed the assigned service appointment, never communicated with Tyler other to accept the appointment. Neither the service contract company nor I could reach them to confirm they were to be at my home between 8 and 12 today - it is now 9:22am and no show, no contact, - nothing.
Description of Work: Refrigerator needed servicing under a service contract - NSI.

No stars.... NIGHTMARE!!! LG gave this company's name as a company that they work with, so my husband and I didn't even think to look at his reviews. Everything that prior comments said were true for us as well. Robert, who is the owner of this company, does not care one bit about anyone's time, but his own. He came out twice, both times extremely late, and did not call prior to showing up..... even though his office said he would call 20mins before and also said we would be the first appointment of the day. My husband took off twice to meet and STAY later than planned since the technician (Owner) was so late.... and then both times I had to take off work to relieve my husband, so that he could go back to work. I was charged $350 for labor, to install a part that was UNDER WARRANTY. Then when he was finished, there was still a screw left on the floor, but he said that came from his work truck. He left, and when I tried to drive away (to go back to work), he stopped me in the street and said he needed 5 more minutes. I let him back in and he came in with a screwdriver.... probably to put back the screw that was on the floor, but when I asked what the problem was now, he said he forgot to "turn" something on, and the refrigerator would not have cooled properly. Geez.... couldn't remember to do that prior to finishing up and pushing the refrigerator back in place??? I literally chewed this man out for 5 minutes telling him what a rip off his company and staff were and how much he is overcharging.... his only reply.... that he didn't force me to use him and I could have gone elsewhere. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Our home warranty company assigned our oven repair to Tyler's Appliance Repair Company. I filed my service repair request online and then waited the entire next day for Tyler's to call. I called the second morning after submitting the claim and was given an appointment time of 8 - 12 on Monday morning. At 11:47 am on Monday, Tyler's called to tell me that their technician had not come in and they rescheduled to Wednesday morning between 8 and 12. No one called or showed up during the scheduled time period. At about 1 pm, I called and was told that they would still be coming and would call 30 minutes before. At 3:30 pm, I called the home warranty company to let them know I had not heard from Tyler's. The home warranty company immediately reassigned our service call to another appliance repair company. I would buy a new appliance rather than use Tyler's Appliance Repair Company.
Description of Work: We need to fan in our oven repaired.

Initial work order was place through Lowe's Warranty on June 20, 2017. Starting on July 14, I called and left a message to Tyler's and left messages and never got a returned call. I then called Lowe's and informed them that the repairs were never completed and was unable to get any response from Tyler's. Finally Lowe's was able to get through. Robert, with Tyler's called and explained that he thought the work had been completed and apologized. Unfortunately, it wasn't until 10/11, that they finally came out to do the supposed repair. Now it is 35 days after they were out, and my ice maker is freezing over building up ice around the tray and blocking the it from making ice. Neither Lowe's, nor Tyler's, wants to make it right. (Lowe's warranty expired in August.)
Description of Work: ice maker froze over and unable to remove ice bin.

The tech was really good but the support staff on the phone not so hot. I had to wait a week for service, then the Tech showed up for the eval and they had to order a part. It took a while to find out what was going on had to keep calling and got different stories. The part got installed and the guy had to have gas to install compressor and he ran out of gas so he had to come out the next day. Then three weeks later, this past Sunday, it quit working again and it turned out one of the cellars on the new compressor was leaking so he installed solder joints and the coolant and it is still not working. Same thing trying to get him to come back out, yesterday he could not make it and still waiting on a confirmation call if he can make it today.

Please believe all the reviews and do not use this company. I have no idea how they are still in business. I purchased an LG refrigerator in 2012. In 2015 it stopped working and I chose Tyler's because they are an authorized LG repair company. Between Tyler's and LG not knowing how to authorize repair, it took three months to repair the refrigerator. Tyler's replaced the compressor. My experience with Tyler's was not bad this time. One year later, the refrigerator breaks again. I call LG and Tyler's to address the warranty issue. It took three months again. But this time, my experience with Tyler's was horrible. I scheduled a visit in the morning and they did not show up until the late afternoon even though I would call every two hours asking on their eta and being told they were close to leaving the client before me. So I wasted a whole vacation day on them. I also noticed that they don't answer the phones on Friday's. When my part finally arrived, I made an appointment and told them I had to have them finish by 5pm. I called in the morning to verify and was told they would arrive between 2-3. At 3pm I get call and they tell me they are on the way but it requires 2 hours to repair. So my wife wasted a whole afternoon of vacation and we were late to my daughter's award ceremony because of Tyler's. Then, when they arrived, they barely figured out LG sent the wrong part, but we were lucky because the repair man happened to have the right part in the back of his truck. One week, Tyler's stopped answering the phone and finally, later in the week one of the repairmen answers the phone and told me that all of the management had been replaced and he was going to be running the store and things would be better. The next week, all of the regular management was back in the office answering the phones. Just do yourself a favor and stay away.

Scheduled 5 appointments with this company and they didn't show up three times. No call, no e-mail, nothing. Left a one eighth inch gap around the new freezer door seal and wouldn't come back to fix it. Electrolux finally scheduled another repair company to fix the problem. Refrigerator under warranty

On December 14, 2015, they sent Robert to take a look at it. He came, he saw, he said he would order the necessary part (after initially arguing with me on whether or not the part was damaged.) Time passed. It was the holidays... I cut them some slack. Finally, I had to call them in early January. They made an appointment window for January 13th, 8-12. I canceled other plans, stayed home and waited. And waited. I called the office at 12, the man who answered apologized, said that Robert would get to me in the afternoon, and reminded me that I'd get a call 30 minutes before he showed up. At 4:11 Robert called, on a really bad connection, asking if he'd actually been out before? What brand is the dishwasher? And so on. I couldn't barely understand him, he said he'd hang up and call back, for a better connection. He did not. He also did not show up. I had to go out of town for a little bit, so I pursued it again when I got home. I called on January 25th, and set an appointment window for the morning of the 27th. Again, I stayed home.... waiting. At 12:00 I called the office. The guy who answered the phone checked into it and then ASKED ME IF I WAS SURE I WAS SCHEDULED FOR THAT DAY. After waiting on hold for over 5 minutes, while he "looked into it", I hung up and called Frigidaire. Their customer service agent tried to get a hold of anyone at Tyler's for over 10 minutes. She was not successful. She left a voice mail, telling them to call me. They have not. This place is appalling. I have no idea how they are in business.
Description of Work: Tyler's Appliance Repair was contracted by Frigidaire to handle a warranty repair on my dishwasher. So far, they have not actually DONE anything, except waste my time.
