He shaped, molded, and matched the key for the front door. The service was okay. I wasn't impressed with the overall service or price. We were quoted $125 on the phone, but charged more after the work was complete.

There was a time lag of 10 weeks from placing the order to the expected delivery date and this was clearly explained and acceptable. The front door was to be stained and it came out beautifully and this is truly one of the prettiest front doors I've ever seen. The three french doors are aluminum clad on the outside and come with a sliding screen which will allow us to open the doors and catch the breeze from different sides of the house (that we couldn't before). The doors were ready to be delivered December 19, 2013 and we paid in full at that time. The screens for all three doors were missing. When I called the store I was told (by tall Steve) that the manufacturer was closed for the holidays so they we unable to find out where the screens were. I called the Monday after Christmas and was told the manufacture was closed until after New Years and, so, did not get an answer on where my screens are or when I would have them. On the second phone call I spoke to a woman and told her I didn't understand why they did not check the order when it came in to ensure it was complete, or why they accepted payment in full for an incomplete order. I also told her that I never received an invoice or any warranty information. She had no answer for me. The contractor who installed the doors stopped by and was told the screens should be in this coming week (1/21/14) which is more than a month after paying for the doors. Despite the fact that I called twice asking about the screens, The Front Door Company never once returned my call and I still have not received the paid invoice or the warranty information. The doors are good (although there were some gouges on one french door that the contractor was able to repair. The doors are well made and very sturdy and attractive. If you buy from them, check your order for completeness before paying in full. I should not still be waiting on the screens a month after delivery.

OUTSTANDING!! From Lisa in the showroom, to William who measured the door and sidelight, to David who installed the door/sidelight -- a professional job and dedicated staff. I spent nine months fighting with Lowes over the replacement of my front door (they delivered the wrong size door three times) and finally decided to go with the pros (thanks to Angies List). The Front Door Co, walked me through the showroom, listened to my concerns and help me decide on the best product. Heck - they even beat Lowes price! The entire crew is knowledgeable and VERY patient with customers who tend to ask a lot of questions (like me). I would definitely use them again.

Excellent customer service. From the time I entered the store on West Ave., I received nothing but fantastic service. Steve H., my salesman, was not pushy, but allowed me all the time I needed to select the right door. Lisa, whom I talked to numerous times when I called. Her attitude was like a breath of fresh air. William, who measured for my new door. He takes his job very seriously. The door fit perfectly. Finally Oscar, who installed the new door. Oscar was very respectful. Installed the door and cleaned up the area very good. For the best customer service, please give The Front Door Company a call or visit.

Price was worth it, and included cleaning and re-painting the decorative wrought iron grills. Joe even cleaned the door handle that had oxidized with the sun, and he made sure our weather strip covered the entire length of the door (which it previously had not)!

It was excellent. We are very pleased with quality and service.

They are excellent. They use high quality products. Their price is reasonable. I am sure some people would think that they are expensive. But solid mahogany doors that are done that way are more expensive than that.

Took longer than anticipated but weather and door condition were difficult

Contacted the company back in September for an estimate. Their "door" man (Joe) came the following week and looked at the door and gave us the estimate of $400.00. We talked about when the job could be done and agreed that Joe would contact us the following week with some proposed dates. Joe never called back; so after two weeks I contacted the Company again and was called by Joe the following day. We agreed to a start date and everything went well after that. Joe did a great job and the door is beautiful.

The sales representative was very open to our needs and design ideas. The company had an extensive amount of options and designs for us to choose from. We were apprciative that the store had a play area where our 4-year-old daughter could play during the 2-and-a-half hours that we worked with the sales representative.

I called to see about having my fiberglass door which is stained to look like wood stripped and restained. The guy who answered the phone could not have sounded more uninterested in speaking with customers from the moment he answered the phone. He let me speak and then said they don't work on fiberglass, only wood. I said thank you, he said uh-huh, and hung up the phone. Whoever he was (no name was given), does a poor job of speaking to customers. Not a good first impression.

Would recommend and use company again. Very smooth overall.

It took two days for the process. Joe came out looked at the door and explained what I needed and gave me an estimate. He sch eduled me in and I was very pleased with the finished product.

This was my first project to work with The Front Door Co. I loved them. Service was amazing, I always got status or courtesy calls and emails. And no matter how many options and design ideas we looked at, they were completely unbothered by our indecisiveness and just kept the dialogue going and providing us with a quote for such work. We saved a few thousand dollars having them do the install and the finishing vs. a contractor. I love Ryan. He gives superior service.

We just closed on a house and our front door (8' wood) was in pretty bad shape so we called the Front Door to see if they could do anything for us. Joe came out to our home and looked at the door and gave us an estimate to have the work done. He scheduled a day to start the work and was right on time to get started. He took the door off the hinges and worked on it in our front yard and then reinstalled it at the end of the day. He came back the following day to put another coat of stain on and scheduled to come back on Sunday to finish the job. It rained Saturday night and the humidity was very high on Sunday so he recommended not putting on the varnish since it would take too long to dry and he scheduled to finish on Tuesday 5/8/12 at 7am. He was on time and finished up that day and came in right on the number on his estimate. He also painted the iron insert that goes over the tempered glass on the door and it looks great. He was very knowledgeable and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again to do work for us.

It was a great experience from start to finish and I highly recommend them.

I stopped by the Front Door store on a Saturday morning to look at their doors. I'd looked at doors at many other stores in town. The selection was great, and I saw many styles I liked. There were lots of ways to customize the doors--different finishes for the wood and different types of glass that could be used. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and helped me select a finish and glass style that worked out perfectly. The door arrived in about two weeks -- sooner than promised. It was installed in about 2 1/2 hours, and my husband was impressed with the professionalism of the installer. The door is beautiful, and I could not be happier. The whole process was quick and easy. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend the company to friends.

The job was handled very professionaly and he was very willing to answer any questions I might have for him. I was very pleased with the work and the door looks brand new.

They did great job, and it looks fabulous. I would recommend them to others as well as use them again in the future.

Save up a little longer and have them finish the door and install it. Also look for coupons before you sign any paperwork.

The experience was wonderful overall. My wife set up most of the process. She talked with them by phone several times, and went to the showroom a couple of times as well. She always felt very impressed with the level of service, knowledge and expertise of all the employees she encountered. We shopped around, and felt that the cost of the door ($995) was well worth it, and MUCH cheaper than Home Depot or Lowes. When they initially came out to measure and provide a total estimate, my wife felt very comfortable that the technician was an expert at placing doors. The told us that if we stained the door ourselves, we could save $300, or they could do it. They arranged to have the door delivered to our house 2 days before the installation to allow us time to stain it and for it to dry. They even helped us select which stain to use and gave us pointers on staining it! The staining was very simple, and turned out beautifully, and I appreciate their thoughtfulness in saving us some money. The installation went very well, and the finished product was fabulous. No bumps along the road whatsoever. If my house burns down, the front door gets stolen, or I have to move, I will definitely have my next front door installed by these guys. A+ experience.

Both Steve and Ryan are very personable and completely answered all my questions. The estimated completion time for the door was the standard 4-6 weeks. Door was ready for installation within a month. Steve called several weeks in advance in order to schedule a tentative installation date. Due to my class schedule, Saturdays work best for me. Unfortunately, the installation team typically installs during the work week. However, within a day or so, Steve was able to confirm a Saturday installation date. The installer called me as he was leaving the store in order to verify my availability. The installation took about a hour. When he was finished, he cleaned up the work area. I was surprised he connected the security system sensor to the new door. Originally, I had an appointment to reconnect the sensors which would have cost a minimum of $89. And he took the old door with him which saved me the trouble of having bulk trash pick it up. The door looks beautiful and really adds to the appearance of my home. Also, it adds a lot of light to my foyer. The Front Door Co did an excellent job from point of order to the door installation.
