I had a very negative experience with Specia Electric of San Antonio. The estimator Mr. Pete Gonzalez came to my Fair Oaks Ranch home on 21 Nov 2013. My wife was home and she pointed out the things we needed done and requested an estimate. By the end of Dec 2013 I had not received the estimate so I called Pete directly and asked when we might receive it. He remembered our home and blamed the failure on a former employee that and quot;no longer works with usand quot;. As of today, 1-7-14 I have yet to receive an estimate or followup call. I've given up on Specia.

This is a very good company and the employees are a reflection of the company. They arrived when they said they would and went right to work digging up the spot where the leak was located. After a very short time they had a large enough hole dug so they could repair the water line which they did quickly and efficiently. Then they filled the hole back in and were ready to leave within about an hour. Said the company would mail me a bill which was just fine with me.

I knew of them but I checked them out on Angie's List before I gave my husband the okay. This was my first time using this company. The service men were very professional, they worked very efficiently. But to be perfectly honest we called them because my husband is in the Rotary Club and he knows one of the Specia's so it's a Rotary connection. So that not really an impartial type thing. They are friends.

Well done. no mess to clean up afterwards and they removed the old water heater.

Went very well. David was given misinformation about the water heater size (my fault) and had to go back and get the correct one. Owner, Dan Specia called me directly to tell me that the unit was actually a unique size and he had to obtain one from another source. They were able to find the right one and get back out the next morning early to finish the work in plenty of time for Thanksgiving because we had many house guests coming that weekend. No additional billing was charged for the extra trip.

They came and within 20 mins they diagnosed problem. They were not able to fix it because problem was not their expetise and they did not have the part in their truck. Leak was in sprinkler system, so I had to call sprinkler system profrssionals. What I was upset about was the $125.00 charged for 20 mins of labor. I was told that they charge from port to port, I was not aware of this. I will use only companies that charge for their labor, not travel time not included. Unfair

They were fantastic. Their prices were good. They were very responsive and punctual. They came right when they said they were going to. I would use them again. They were great.

They did an excellent job. Our contractor who built our house 10 years ago brought them out and they did a great job. I will use them again in the future.

David is friendly and good nature but very industrious about finding the problem not just quick fix. Yet he offers lower cost options to try when a problem may involve considerable expense.

Job estimated 4-21-08 for "Turnkey" remodel. Estimated time 5 working days. Job started 4-28. Bathroom demolished. Additional leak discovered in wall, requiring removal of water heater to replace damaged wallboard. Was told 2 to 3 additional days to complete job. I provided tile samples as requested. Tile samples were not picked up by foreman in a timely manner or when promised. Resulted in delays. Floor coverings were placed to back door entry. Workers tracked grease (wax seal remnants) through bedroom to front door. Parked trucks on driveway - black grease spots. Requested not to park on driveway, but continued to do so. Plumbers stated their job was complete, but wall leak was not repaired resulting in another delay in scheduling. Upon removal of water heater, broke off connections. Installed new water heater without informing or consulting me about price or quality. Additional delays due to attempting to push off wrong tile. Original tile selection was not 'in stock', but apparently was not ordered. Many days of being told workers would be here following day and were not. Baseboard paint color does not match existing woodwork color. At end of job, driveway was power washed, but still has black stains. Left house unsecured after finishing work. (windows left open at end of day). Carpet was cleaned but texture is changed; coarse and hard. Washed out paintbrushes on neighbors grass. Job completed on 5/28.

The company provides plumbing and lighting work. I have used for them for the installation of recessed lighting along with other plumbing needs. On one particular incident, an outlet had sparked. I telephoned them and they came right out to fix it. Another incident was when the shower pan in my master bath had leaked. They replaced it with a new one in a short period of time. The secretary is very knowledgeable and organized. There is not a lot of turnover in staff, which speaks highly of their business. They are exceptional, professional, and friendly.

The price was high, however we renegotiated. because they did not do everything that we wanted. The job took longer than what I thought. They workers were very nice and courteous.

They never came back to finish the job and have not contacted us for payment for the little work they did. They did not finish the work, and the work they did complete was poorly done.

Have not received bill yet. However, the work was done. It took a lot of time to get the message across to the tech about what I needed. I had to repeat myself over and over and he still omitted one replacement. I could see he was having difficulty, so I even wrote it down for him again. He said he could not fix my toilet and that I needed a whole new toilet.

It took several return trips and one of the problems still has not been fully repaired. The repairman was generally late. I thought the cost appeared high, although I was not charged for the return visits. The repairmen were polite.

called the serviceman twice and was told that a another person would call me to schedule and appointment. No one called, so went with another electric company.

They didn't show up when they were supposed to, and I called them and they said they'd be out in the evening, and they didn't show up. I called again, and they said that the lady that took care of the business was out sick that day and the guy that made those kinds of appointments did his own booking. I waited three days, and I couldn't believe it. By Friday, I was so mad. They kept trying to pass the buck, saying it was someone else's fault.

Special Plumbing and Electric did a very good job on my bathroom sink. They showed up right on time and got right to work. They were also very respectful of my home. I have used them in the past for other plumbing needs and I have always been very satisfied with their work.

Specia Plumbing and Electric did an excellent job. Everything works like it is supposed to. We were very happy with the company. The two gentlemen that came out were very nice. They cleaned up all of their mess and the price was very good.

Specia Plumbing and Electric was quick to respond to my call. They knew what the problem was and got right to work. The repairman was very respectful. He even put on protective covers on his shoes, so he wouldn't get my carpet dirty. He had all the right tools to get the job done. I haven't had any problems since it was fixed.
