 + -1 moreI called to have Quality Air Design provide me a quote for a complete HVAC system replacement. We scheduled a day for the quote to take place. They arrived, gathered all the information, discussed with me what the options were and said they would get back to me with a quote the following day (all other companies provide me the quote on the same day/visit). I called the following day in the afternoon asking the status of the quote. The representative I talked with stated he would get with the individual who is doing the quote to call me back. It has now been 3.5 business days and I have not heard from them at all. Due to their lack of promptness/responsiveness regarding my quote, I would hate to see what it would take to have them get a repair done. It is my impression they do not need the work.

 + -1 moreMy husband and I are currently stationed overseas and have learned that it is not easy to work with companies when you are an ocean away. I am so glad that I found Quality Air Designs! I was able to call and immediately get a quote on a new heat pump from Mr. Martinez. After having contacted several companies, their quote was by far the best. They were able to get out to the house to fix it as soon as we could get it scheduled. I received very positive words about the crew that came out from my tenant as well. They gave us great service, a great new heat pump, and most importantly great prices!
Description of Work: Our heat pump was 10 years old. Unfortunately, since it still had the Freon gas in it which is not used anymore. Since I could not get the unit fixed, we had to just go ahead and have a completely new unit installed.

Description of Work: The lead tech was very responsive and responsible. I had confirmed that both the evaporator coils in the attic units were leaking and that the coils were still under labor/parts warranty through Quality Air Designs; Quality Air Designs sent me copies of the warranties and verified that they would replace the coils at no cost. The techs arrived and removed the old coils; I could see much black mold on the inside of the existing duct boxes, so I decided to have them replaced as well, at our expense; I gave them a 'A' for price because their price was very reasonable. I gave them an 'A' for responsiveness because they made and installed the new duct boxes they same day as the coil repairs and because I had to call them back immediately after they left; they returned quickly to make corrections and repair their work. This return visit was necessary because upon my inspection after they left, I discovered several leaks in air ducts they had just repaired and a 2' slash in their brand new duct repair that was gushing cold air into the attic. For this reason, I gave them a 'C' for professionalism. The fact that I had to call them back to correct work they'd just finished is not good. The A/C system is working now and for that I am thankful. I highly recommend becoming familiar with your equipment, check the manufacturer model numbers and verify whether your system is still under warranty and what is covered. |

Description of Work: We called them because our unit went out. They got the unit to work and said it could be because of our outdated thermostat. They also added freon.
