Description of Work: Two people came to my house. When i asked them to move their car (which was blocking my driveway) so my son could leave for his college class, one of them began cursing and asking where she could f*%king park and who would pay for her f*%king ticket if she got one. I assured her she would not get a ticket if she parked legally on the street. I had handymen there also and they watched that interaction. I confided in them that I wasn't sure i wanted to have these people in my house if they were already complaining. Then the woman started yelling at me more. I asked them to leave. She said "Bi&*h, it's an Angie's list deal so we get pain anyway and you lose". I just said leave. She kept cursing. My son heard it, came out and took their bucket to the street and tossed them into the street and told them to not curse at me. I took their vacuum out to their car. They kept on yelling. one of them took a swing at my son. He just stepped back away from her hand and then she taunted him and said he was afraid. He just told her to be quiet and be gone. Then THEY called the police on us for tossing their bucket in the street and "threatening" them. The police came and told them to leave. The officers told me to have nothing to do with that company. By that time the owner haad called and asked me what had happened. I told her and she apologized and then told me there had been thoughts of committing the cursing woman last week. She said she would refund me or clean my house herself but the police told me I was better off not letting anyone from that company in my house again. I never got a refund from the company and ended up having to go through PayPal to get the refund. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with people coming to work at my house. i would not use a company from Angie's List again. The handymen are finally coming back this week, which is the first time I have been off not on a holiday since November. They seem OK and were also from an Angie's List offer, but other than that I am done with it.

This was a job I will never forget. My crew didn't have anywhere to park and they were told to park after they were told to move their car. The customer told them to park somewhere that would have resulted in a ticket. They ended up parking down the street to the next block. They were going to start cleaning upstairs and the son starting yelling at them. He threw all of their cleaning supplies out of the house onto the front sidewalk including their vacuum. He broke their products and vacuum. The mom picked the products up and made the son help. They walked down the block to their car and the son followed them and kept yelling at them. It was so bad that my girls called the police and they showed up. The neighbors told the girls the police were there earlier that week and they always hear the people fighting in the house. There were also some other workers at the house who video taped the entire incident and told my girls they couldn't believe what had happened. The girls also noticed holes in the sheetrock in the house. We have never had a situation like this before and we refused to go back. Michelle Owner

FABULOUS.
Description of Work: 2 cleaning people deep cleaned per coupon for 3 1/2 hrs. Martha and Hugo, married couple, came and did the BEST cleaning I have ever paid for. I told them to focus on floors and baseboards as I cannot do these ever. They cleaned top to bottom my master suite, DR, living rm, large eat-in kitchen, carpeted steps, sunroom and 2 full bathrooms. I did not want the den or the upstairs bedrooms cleaned. They were meticulous. Cleaned my kitchen cabinets better than ever!! I cannot go into all they did but they did a fabulous job!! I am so thrilled with finally finding quality house cleaners! They were professional, super efficient and showed great work ethic. No wasting time or watching the clock to leave. My floors are clean under and around things, even in corners. They are my dream house cleaners. I used Earthwise a few months and those cleaners also did a very good job. A great coupon deal!! Description of Work: When the young woman got here, I spent time going over what I wanted done and even asked her if she could polish the wood furniture. I walked into the Master BR while she was in there and noticed the top of my nightstand was wet. When I questioned her about it, she said she used a wet cloth to dust. If someone cleans houses for a living, I would expect them to know that you don't put water on wood furniture. In general, I didn't feel she knew how to clean properly.

The person who cleaned this house has many years experience. We do use microfiber cloths to dust that may be a bit damp. When a dry method is used when there is a dust buildup or dark furniture the dust is just displaced and will most likely come back before we leave the room. A damp cloth will remove the dust and it will not fly around and end up somewhere else. Michelle Owner
