Organizing San Antonio

Used an Angieslist offer, and there is apparently a discrepancy in how the offer was written. In one section, it says that the amount of time committed is whatever is needed to complete the job, while in another part, it says it is limited to 7 man-hours. I didn't recognize this when I purchased and went in assuming it was the former. The company recognized that the job might take more than 7 man-hours and had three cleaners show up instead of just two, but the cleaners said they would need to leave before the house was completed since their time would be up. I called the owner asking about this, and she acknowledged that the offer was written up incorrectly. She offered to have her people stay long enough to finish the job at a reduced rate, so I ended up paying more than we initially set out. I think they did very well from a customer service standpoint, and they did a good job cleaning, but it was an unpleasant situation to be stuck in. Would use again if we were staying in the area, but if you choose to use the online offer, definitely make sure it is clear what you are paying for.

They didn't show up or contact me. I've decided to go with another company.

We had an empty house that was rehabbed and needed to be cleaned for presentation. Dust was everywhere, paint spatters were on the the windows and the wood floors (floor also had a paint footprint!) and the house looked nice but tired. Jessica and Nathima went to work systematically and professionally making the house gleam and made a HUGE change from what it looked like before. They even assisted us in doing the jobs that were not part of their normal work (eg paint spatter, cleaning the outside of the upstairs windows and removing a carpet stain). Thank you very much ladies, you are awesome! We absolutely recommend this as an essential service to anyone selling a house - easily the best value 6.5 hours spent on the rehab. We also gave this service to a friend as a thankyou gift and they were alsovery pleased with the outcome.

The owner was able to reschedule on short notice to accommodate our needs and we even received a call before the cleaner was coming to our house. Prompt and awesome service. Will definitely use again.

First, would like to say she (Roxy, I believe) did a great job in the two hours she was alotted. She did everything on the list we provided and did a very thorough job. Floors, ceiling fans, bathroom, kitchen, wipe walls, window sills, baseboards; everything. We are impressed and will use their services again. Second, I would like to thank Michelle in the office. We accidently gave the wrong address (we have a couple houses) and Roxy showed up on time, but with no one there to let her inside. Michelle promptly rescheduled for the next day at the right address and again Roxy showed up on time to complete the work. Thanks Earthwise.

Jasmine was excellent! She arrived early and worked hard for the entire allotted time. I needed help getting ready for a party that evening so she took care of deep cleaning all the bathrooms and sweeping and mopping the floors. She was friendly, professional, and had our hard to clean tile sparkling. I would absolutely use this service again.

Joanna was a true professional. She stated what she could do, what would take additional time and allowed me to make the final decision. An example was the wood blinds. She dusted them, but some needed to be scrubbed with soap and water. She was willing to do this, but stated that it would limit her from doing some of the other things. She also said I could add time for this, but I chose to do them myself. While she worked downstairs, I just sat and wiped them down, so I still ended up with clean blinds :) I will definitely request Joanna again.

I purchased the 2 hour cleaning for $60 through the website and was executing a couple of people to come out to clean. Only one came and given the time constraint she was only able to do 2 areas of the house, but she did them well. I used Earthwise again a few weeks later and had Jasmine who did a great job and got the majority of the house done in 3 hours.

A few caveats to start. First, it was my fault for not reading the fine print on the coupon that stated over a certain sq footage would be charged extra...i.e. if it takes them longer than 5 hours then we'll have to charge you more cause you're house is too big. Naturally I was a little surprised when I got the call saying they were going to leave after 5 hours. That said the office was extremely helpful and courteous about getting them to stay longer to finish up the job. Second, my brother confused the two girls by telling them not to clean a room even though they actually needed to clean it, so there was a bit of a communication failure between myself, my brother, and the girls that were cleaning the house. That all became resolved respectfully and easily once I arrived at the house (I had been at work during most of it, leaving my brother in charge). The reason I will likely not be calling them back for continued service is that when I filled out the application for service I stated how large the house was and they only sent 2 girls. Also, after 5 hours all they had cleaned was the downstairs, which mind you was important for the party I was throwing later in the week, but they could have split up (one upstairs and one downstairs) and covered more area in that amount of time. Also, when I arrived (at around the 5 hour mark) one of the girls was sent else where (understandable since they hadn't planned for over 5 hours) but the girl they left behind was very slow at getting the job done. It wasn't a bad job, but definitely not a deep clean service. And lastly, and the most important reason for why I won't go back is that months after the service was rendered, with no further contact, there was a random fraudulent charge to my credit card from this company which luckily my bank took care of, but was extremely inconvenient at the time. Again, the staff was nice, and if you're just looking for a quick pick me up for your house (not a deep clean) I think they are very capable of providing the service. However, I believe I'll keep looking for a better cleaning service.

The service was very good. The ladies were concerned about quality and consistently insured that the work met expectations. They pointed out trouble areas when some stain could not come clean. Punctual, professional, friendly. Would use again.

They work very hard and do a good job. They use only Eco friendly products, but those products don't seem to clean as effectively as the regular commercial stuff. They charge not by the hour. They tell you the time that it's going to take to do a job and they charge you according to that and also according to how many people they need to send.

Not very well... Though they did clean and do a good job on the items on the surface. It was not a deep clean. I could have done the same amount of cleaning they did. I hired this company to clean the home better than I imagined I could ever do. You would think for $200 they would stay longer than 2 hours. Very disappointed in the return on my investment.

My husband and I continue to use Earthwise because they are fantastic. Joanna called me to let me know that she was done with her previous job and was able to come early, I truly appreciate this when I hire people companies and they are a little early, being that I would rather have someone who is early rather than late. Joanna was extremely professional, friendly, detail-oriented, and very efficient with regards to the list that I had left her for the 2 hour cleaning we had paid for. We highly recommend Joanna to anyone who uses Earthwise, she did an outstanding job. Joanna is an asset to Earthwise. I appreciate her doing a clean and thorough job within our home. Thank you!

Great company!!! Michelle the owner was wonderful to work with and schedule the service. Tuesday did an amazing job. Tuesday was positive and professional. Tuesday did more in 2 hours than any other service would have taken over 5 hours to do....and would not have done the job Tuesday did. My Mom passed away a little over a year ago and I have neglected my own home. Thank you Michelle for sending Tuesday. Thank you. I highly recommend Earthwise House Cleaning...and Tuesday!

The service turned out okay. My mother actually used the deal. She hired the company to clean the house before she moved out. The crew was late to the appointment. They also broke a few blinds. My mother said she would not use the company again.

The representative was at the location early. In fact, she beat me there. The apartment had not been deep cleaned in 5 years. All things considered, she did an outstanding job, as this apartment was basically a "slum" condition apartment (holes in the ceiling from weather leaks unrepaired, toilet seat that was held together with duct tape, leaking/slow draining bathroom vanity sink, bathtub with vanier pealing off, etc. The carpet was in terrible shape, and although their service does not provide carpet shampooing, she spot cleaned the really bad spots manually and actually made a HUGE improvement to the carpets. The appliances were sparkeling shiney. They looked brand new! She did ALL of this without air conditioning and without complaint. My only complaints: my expectations were that the baseboards would not only be dusted but actually damp cleaned, and at several places after she left I had to wipe down a couple of spots. I also had expectations that the windows and blinds would be cleaned, and they were not. There was dust standing pretty deep on the venitian blinds in the the bedroom. However, like I said, the apartment was in pretty bad shape to begin with, and the unairconditioned circumstances were an extra challenge. I would use this service again and would refer them to a friend.

The house was reasonably clean although the floors and the counters were still dirty. I'm giving them another chance because their responsiveness and service seems pretty good. Hopefully, it will be better next time.

I believe both the girls wanted the job of organizing and not cleaning and I clearly stated when I called company that I needed cleaning and organizing and at least two girls all day. They had to leave after 4 hours because they had other job to do. , I do feel I got my monies worth. However, I would not hired this company again.

They were on time, responsible, and did a good job.

It worked out really great. I bought one for my daughter’s gift too. My husband was here when they did it and I came home and it was definitely a great cleaning job, they worked the whole time. Their response was excellent.
