Description of Work: We had all our common areas replaced with hardwood. The kitchen, a small entry way, and breakfast area were tile and the rest of the common area was carpet. Installers were courteous and professional. And they were extremely hard works. We did not go with the lowest estimate and we got what we paid for - great quality and beautiful hardwood floors

Description of Work: Exceptional customer service through the entire process as we made and modified our selection, through delivery and install. We HIGHLY recommend O'Krent's Abbey Flooring Center.

Description of Work: I called the store and made an appointment for a salesman to come take measurements and to discuss my needs. James was a little early, but when he arrived he took his time to discuss what I needed and to describe how O'krents would handle the carpet and pad replacement that was stained (possibly a pet from the previous owner). I went to the store to look at samples (tremendous variety of styles and price ranges), and narrowed it down to about 5 samples. Mr. O'krent took the time to stop by to say hello and make sure my needs were being met and both he and James were very polite and patient. After taking the samples home and choosing one, I placed an order and was told approximately when my installation would be (5-7 days). I had a call a couple of days in advance to schedule the installation, subject to when the carpet was expected to arrive. The day before the scheduled date I received a call to let me know that the carpet hadn't arrived, and we rescheduled for the following day. The next day I received a call confirming that the carpet had arrived and that the installation would be the next day at the scheduled time. The next morning I received another call from the Installation department to let me know when the installers would be leaving the store. I later received another call from the installers saying they were on there way. The installers were very neat in removing the the old carpet and pad and even replace some of the tack strip that was damaged. The new carpet was beautifully installed, nicely vacuumed and the debris hauled away. The installers were very polite and had a good sense of humor. Later I got a call, checking to see how everything went and to make sure I was satisfied

Description of Work: The sales person, Toni Griese was just wonderful. very professional and knowledgeable. This was a small job , just a backsplash, but w/ her excellant, accomadating service you would have thought it a much bigger job! The install was flawless . La Mar was meticulous and made sure I was good w/ everything before he left. Over all a great experience. I highly reccomend O'Krents!

Description of Work: The gentlemen that installed the porcelain floor were very professional. O"Krents did a porcelain floor that looks like Saltillo tile. There was a star shaped medallion between the tiles. I also had the fireplace redone to match the floor. It was quite a complicated pattern, Im very impressed with the workmanship. My big complaint was with the sales and office staff. The tile had to be ordered. About 3 weeks after we signed the contract the workman showed up in the a.m. I had no idea they were coming, much less that the tile was in! The workmen were apologetic. The office called within minutes th make arrangements for installment. Work was started the next day. When the sales person came on the last day to check on the work, I informed him of the problem. His response was a "tap dance" around the issue and to blame someone else, " Well it got done anyway." I'll only use them again for tile and will request the same crew. I had plans to use them for carpeting. I'll use Lowes now.
