MY SA HOME FINDERS

Irene Lime helped me find and purchase my house. I've been referring her to friends for several years and finally thought to post on Angie's List. I initially contacted several realtors to get a feel for personality and how willing they were to work with me in finding my first home. After living in apartments for several years, I had a decent list of requirements - not wild expectations like "a lot of house for little money" - just specifics that would insure the house would suit my car/electronics hobbies and a nice sized lot for my dogs. It felt like the first realtors I encountered just wanted to get me into any house as quickly as possible so they could earn their commission. Luckily, I found Irene and Tommy Lime of Home Finders. Irene was the one I mainly dealt with and she was great. She would send as many listings as I could handle for a couple months (including foreclosure home listings). When I'd narrow down a list to ~5 homes, we'd go and view them. If I knew I didn't like a home, she did not pressure me to like the home and she did not try to get me to spend more than I what was comfortable with. We'd just get back in our cars and move on to the next home. When we did find a house with potential, Irene was great at helping me look over the house and on occasion, providing historical information about the neighborhood and the home builders. When it came time for my home inspection she said I could use anyone I was comfortable with but that she also could recommend someone. It made me much more confident in purchasing my first home to know that I had someone with many years of experience along with earnest concern for my home needs. I've been in my home several years now and have enjoyed my home and my neighborhood. As mentioned earlier, it was such a great experience that I recommend her when I can and when I'm ready for my next home, I'll be giving Irene another call.
