HomeRiver Group formerly Boardwalk Real Property Management was founded in 1986 and is a full service residential property management company. HomeRiver Group San Antonio is a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers, National Association of Realtors and the San Antonio Board of Realtors. As a full service residential property management company we provide the following services: property marketing, 24-hour Emergency Services, property repairs, rent collection, tenant screening, financial reporting. This company is the WORST property management company that I have ever dealt with. It took them over a year to fix my water softener, and they fixed it after I fired them. In addition, they took $600 out of my last rent check for cancelling my contract with them. When I fought them through BBB, they said that it was a 'he said, she said' situation in my claims against them. Do yourself a big favor -- go with another property management company.

Excellent! I would only use Boardwalk Real Property Management when it comes to managing my property in the San Antonio area.
Description of Work: When I had to evict a nasty tenant from one of my rental homes, my attorney suggested I hire Boardwalk Real Property Management to take care of my property since I live 5 hours away from San Antonio. Fabulous recommendation!! They helped me find a carpet vendor to replace my carpet, as well as, a cleaning company to put my property back in livable condition. Within 2 days I had 7 showings and 2 offers. As a property owner, I have no time to have any rental sit unoccupied. In addition, Boardwalk RPM conducts an on-site, annual walk through, noting maintenance items that need to be repaired, names of vendors and their quotes to complete the repairs. I call this preventive maintenance! They also provide an annual profit and loss statement showing your income and itemized expenses ( if you have any) which makes filing taxes a breeze.

Work was completed timely. Contractor invoices were paid promptly. Rapid communication using email. When necessary, I was contacted on my mobile phone. Great service! Compassion for tenants. Makes me, the property owner, look great!
Description of Work: 1. Followed-up and kept me abreast of central A/C unit and A/C window unit repairs. Home warranty covered repairs. No non-covered costs. 2. Obtained contractor to replace and install vertical blinds. Provided pictures after job was completed. Excellent! $125.00 3. Obtained contractor to replace and install two toilet bowls and tanks. $450.00 Pictures on there way.

We are extremely fortunate to have been a Boardwalk Real Property Management, Inc (BRPMI) client since 2006 when our house was first built. From day one Boardwalk has treated us like ?family? and we have enjoyed a great relationship with all of their staff. Boardwalk knows our property, responds immediately to any requests, is professional and attentive. Over the ten-year partnership we have had only two principal property managers. This stability provides assurance that our Boardwalk manager knows our property and knows us. Boardwalk has given us advice about rental fees and property upgrades. Because of the great relationship, we have given Boardwalk permission to authorize any minor repairs without need for our concurrence. They have skilled tradespeople who complete any necessary repairs quickly and at reasonable rates. We are absentee landlords who live out of state. We have visited Boardwalk and the property only twice in the ten years of ownership. Our monthly fee to Boardwalk is worth every penny. Monthly statements and tax forms are detailed and sent promptly. Since 2006 we have had constant tenancy despite having tenants who have been served papers to work overseas in the military. Each year we receive a detailed property report for a nominal fee. This report is then used as a guideline for any recommended renovations. Think about it. What does an out-of-state landlord want? Our fantasy would be to have a company like Boardwalk who looks after our property like their own, maintains constant tenancy (to pay the bills), provides updates on the property, offers advice, is professional and timely in their accounting, and does all of this for a reasonable fee. Boardwalk does all of this but sets itself apart by making us feel like ?family.? We?ve been dealing with the same people since 2006. We recently needed to make some repairs. We spoke to Stephen Foster (the owner), Caleb Lee (our property manager) and Shannon McLaughlin (head of accounting). Each knew the property, gave advice and assurance, and acted as though we were their number one priority. There is no listening to music, a real person answers the phone, and they know you. We started out by meeting Elaine in 2006, before our house was built, and Elaine is still there for us. ?Five Stars? is not enough to truly set this company apart.
