Atlas Floors Carpet One

In the past years, we had been contemplating replacing the carpeting in our Great Room, etc., but was not happy with what was out there. However, Atlas Flooring has been the answer to our hesitations. Ken Munir, our salesman, was truly an awesome individual. All I had to do was mention what I was looking for and the thoughts I had in color and texture. He selected a few samples, which I took home, and they were right on perfect. I settled for a multi dark/light color with texture and couldn't have been happier. The crew (Jessie and Marcus) were on time, worked hard, were courteous, respectful, and so very friendly. Their workmanship was awesome, and I couldn't have asked for better. They completed the tedious job in 3 days, as there was a lot of angles in our home with many transitions. I am so happy that I turned down Hwy 281 from 1604 and saw their store and went in -- and the rest in blissful history! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone of my friends or family. Great job!!

So we are building a 4000' home. This was the first budget run for me. I'm pumped. This is the "fun part" finally. Tried to make an appointment. No just come on in. Just as I predicted, not a good result. I wait for 20 minutes and I was the only customer there. It wasn't like I wanted new carpet for the bedroom. I had a roll of plans in my hand. I watched the salesman move icons on his desktop, which was the proverbial straw. Too bad. While I was waiting, I found everything I wanted.

This was a great experience. Sherry Young our sales person and Jessica McCarthy were just wonderful. We had a lot of issues with a roof leak and it kept postponing us installing the carpet but Sherry and Jessica were very understanding and worked with us every time. The installation crew was very good and did a great job and cleaned up everything afterwards. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to refer them to anyone!

Although we went with another provider for this project, Janet Kelly was very responsive and helpful. We would certainly consider them for future work.

We're very pleased with both the carpet and the installation process. The salesperson we dealt with, Janet was very helpful and gave us enough information while also giving us enough space to make our own decision. We shopped at Lowes and had a difficult time. After that, we tried Atlas expecting them to be much more expensive but we were pleasantly surprised. We chose one of their top of the line products and because there was so little waste, the result was less than Lowes wanted. There were two men who arrived about half and hour before the appointed time and completed the removal of the old carpet and the installation of the new stuff in about 4 hours. We moved the furniture ourselves and were given a discount for that. When it comes time to replace the carpet in the other rooms, I'm sure we'll be back.

Installation of vinyl plank went well. Installers professional and courteous. Made sure we were happy with install as they were doing it. The carpet installation that was explained to us was called "healthier living installation" which should have included extensive vacuuming of the subfloor and applying anti macrobial spray before carpet install. This was not done, however when we called, we were given a refund for the spraying. We do wish however that it had been done correctly to begin with. Otherwise the carpet install went well and they did a good job. We have been pleased so far with the look and feel. Our consultant Sherry Young was very helpful and accommodating. She spent a lot of time helping with selection of materials. We would definitely use them again.

Atlas Floors did a terrific job laying cork flooring over our ceramic tile floors in our kitchen. Rodney, the salesperson is highly professional and detailed to work with and this was our second experience to come back to Atlas floors after they did our carpet installation in December. Steve the installation manager was very ethical and honest about the fact that we should not put the cork over all of our tiled areas since some of the areas were not so level and the cork squares we chose would not lay well and hold up well. A less ethical person would have just done it and taken more of our money. Therefore we only laid the cork in our kitchen(more level)area. Jessica was great to schedule with and Jessie and his install team did a beautiful job with the installation. Also, the quarter round, painter/installer did a terrific job with staining and installing quarter round to match our cabinetry. Overall, Atlas is a highly professional company to work with and only completes a job when the customer is happy. *One thing I would recommend if you are on a tight time frame to get wood, laminate or cork flooring put in, especially if the product is ordered from a warehouse thats out of state. I suggest asking them to check all the boxes to make sure there are no cracked/chipped pieces of wood, cork, etc. On our install day several boxes had chipped cork, so we had to wait another week for more cork to arrive and get the rest installed.

When I decided to replace the carpet in my home, I wasn't sure where to start. My salesman, Rodney, was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of my questions and help me find the product that best suited my home and my budget. I felt very comfortable working with him and never felt pressured - even when I made a last minute change and ordered a different product than I had originally selected. Luis and his crew did a great job on the installation and actually finished ahead of schedule. They were punctual, professional and polite and managed to shuffle my furniture around (some of it quite heavy) without damage to any of my belongings. I will definitely use Atlas Floors again if the need arises and will recommend this team to all of my friends.

I highly recommend Atlas. They are awesome!! I could not be more pleased with the service from start to finish. I obtained several bids from big name companies and individuals. While not the least expensive, Atlas was extremely competitive, and with the warranty and quality of work, I feel it was an excellent value. You get what you pay for! My salesperson, Sandy, was wonderful at helping me find the right product. She was more responsive than any other providers. We emailed back and forth, she sent me pictures of various items fitting my descriptions, and when she came to my home to bring samples - they were a perfect fit. Everyone who comes over has complimented the new floor and cannot believe it isn't wood and ceramic tile. The installers were professional and friendly, very dependable, respectful of my home, and cleaned up carefully after themselves daily. It took about a week and a half to complete - they ended up having to do more preparation and leveling on my old floor than originally expected. It's an older home and I wasn't sure what was going to be under that carpet! I was really impressed with the quality of the workmanship and the materials. Throughout the process, anytime I had questions or concerns, they were always prompt in replying. I feel like I got a home makeover! The luxury vinyl tile is beautiful and easy to clean. And their showroom is amazing! I plan to use them again to do my kitchen and other bathroom next year. I have recommended them to friends and family. Use them, you won't regret it!

Atlas is a terrific company to work with. From the purchase to installation...we can't say enough great things about them.We purchased the carpet from Rodney who was very thorough, detailed, knowledgeable and responsive to all of our questions and concerns. We had many questions and he was very helpful in finding out any answers that he didn't already know. He was terrific to work with. In terms of setting the installation, we worked with Jessica who was very friendly and flexible in helping us get our installation scheduled. We kept having to change our installation date since we were in the process of trying to close on the purchase of a new home and the date of our closing kept changing. Jessica was patient and kept being flexible with me. Then we realized we needed to change our installation date to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which were two days that the installers were off, of course. These were our only 2 days to have it installed due to our need for our movers to move our belongings in to our new home. She was able to talk with Sergio and his team and he and his team agreed to do the install then. Sergio and his team did a terrific job installing the carpet on these 2 days. Even though it was Christmas Eve and Day, they took the time necessary to do a very thorough and nice job installing our carpet. It looks terrific and we are very happy with it! We highly recommend Atlas Carpet!

My sales rep worked really hard to find my matching floor. She did a good job of tracking it down. Good interaction. Sales rep stayed in contact with us. They worked quickly. Floors are great.

Estimate for replacement carpet and other floor coverings provided within 48 hours. Perfect.

We bought a Del Webb home in June which was completed in November. We had builder's carpet removed from the family room and replaced it with a wood laminate. During the time of construction, we shopped around. We decided to go through Atlas Carpet One on the 1604 feeder road. Rodney knew his product and his estimate for the square footage was very accurate. The installers were friendly, fast and did quality work. Carpet One has a big sale twice a year one in October and one in February. We did our in October and really saved, We will be doing our flex room through Rodney in February to save big bucks.

The process went very, very well. Sandy was excellent in her coordination of the sale and explaining to us all the details involved and the timing of installation, etc. Could not have been more pleased with our experience

The whole experience went very well! My sales rep, Rodney Cooper, could not have been more patient and understanding as I went through the whole decision process which took about 2 months. He measured my areas for carpeting, recommended different types and qualities of carpet, and provided samples for me to take home and look at in the lighting of the rooms. That was important as the color changed with the amount of light! Once I decided on what I wanted, he helped me complete the necessary forms and contracts and then had a scheduler call me to set up a time and date that was convenient. The scheduler was very courteous and even called to offer me an opportunity to have it installed earlier. The installation team was excellent. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time and did the job in a very professional manner. They were careful to make sure that none of the movement of furniture scratched my hardwood floors, scraped walls, etc. They were done in a very reasonable amount of time. I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family. My "star" rating for them would be 5 STARS!

Everything about the experience was wonderful from start to finish! I was contacted promptly and set up with Rodney as my customer service rep. He was very patient and helpful with every question or concern I had. Did not get flustered when I changed my mind for the umpteenth time, lol. He was very friendly and happy to make any changes I wanted or when I decided to go in a whole different direction like I did twice during the decision process. The whole store was great. Soooo many choices and options. I was allowed to take samples home to play with and see which ones I liked better. I took home LOTS of samples and exchanged them several times, it's very hard for me to make a decision. Rodney didn't even flinch, he was such a pleasure to work with and was always happy to talk to me on the phone. No pressure to "make a sale", just there to help with whatever he could. Also let me know which materials similar to what I was choosing were just put on sale and would save me some money. Gave me a military discount and the Angie's List coupon. He overestimated the cost of my installation so there wouldn't be any surprises at the end and there weren't. My final cost was a few hundred dollars less then the estimate he gave me and the extra bags of floor prep that were not needed were removed from my bill, lowering it even more. Wonderful! The installation crew was awesome as well. The crew supervisor was outstanding! He made sure I was happy at all times. They showed up on time every day, were polite, courteous and friendly, were very considerate of my home and were very careful with my things when moving the furniture, they worked very fast and efficiently, didn't make a mess and cleaned up all work areas when they were done. They didn't even take lunch, they worked straight through. The supervisor noticed a small error in the laying of the entryway laminate and immediately brought it to my attention and had them take it up and relay it correctly. Awesome guy! My flooring job that was supposed to take 4 days to install, only took 3, and they did an awesome job! The floors all look EXCELLENT!!! They were installed perfectly, I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever! Everybody who comes over just raves about how beautiful they are. And the last meeting to settle up and pay the last part of the bill was just as enjoyable as the first meeting. Rodney is truly a great sales rep and someone I really enjoyed working with. Whenever I decide to replace the carpeting in my bedrooms I am definitely giving him a call, he's got my return business!

When some carpet was left over, we were refunded for the amount we did not need and a very nice looking 5'X7' carpet, with edging, was made for us - along with a small throw rug. We are very pleased with the responsiveness of this provider and with their professionalism. I would use them again.

Rodney was very patient and generous with his time and expertise. He stayed with us after the showroom closed while we made our final selections. Unfortunately, we had a change in our financing situation that required us to postpone the whole-house refloor. We were very impressed with Rodney's attention to detail and might use Atlas in the future.

Poor installation of flooring,. Attempted to conceal scratches and gap in floor with furniture. Reluctant to make repairs. Very poor customer service. Very disappointing and aggravating.

I enjoyed working with Sheri to pick out new commercial carpet and she was very helpful in insuring that we had the best installer for our slightly tricky installation at my church. Communication all along the process was easy and the carpet installers were on time and worked quickly and well...taking up the old carpet, installing the new and cleaning up and hauling away the old carpet. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

At this time, I have not scheduled any work to be done. Sales rep was courteous and helpful during my visit.

They came and did the work for me. I had a little bit of a water leak problem so partially my insurance took care of some, but while I was going to have some redone, I just decided to have the entire house done. First of all, I spoke to a lady representative from Atlas when I first went in and she showed me some laminate flooring. I kind of told her what I wanted. I went to there two different locations. They gave me samples to bring home, brought them back, and she came out and took a look at everything. She told me to be mindful of things. She was not just a quote salesman. She looked at my furniture. She looked at how I had set up my house for my decorating. She said she figured my style is xyz. These are things that might not blend in with my style which is very important. You do not want to get something that looks like the rug in a country when you have provincial furniture. She was very good at that. Secondly, the crew that came out very neat and clean. They told me exactly what they were doing. I worked from home sometimes and I needed one office that I had to get done because I was on a deadline for a project. They did it exactly and got everything out of the way all in the estimated time which really made my life easy. In other homes, I had laminate flooring put in and it is like once they sell it, they are done. They do not come out and look. She actually came out mid-project. She took a look around just to make sure that everything is going to plan or everything was going well. All I had to do was give her a call, but I never had to. She came out and took a look at it. She told the guys that she would like to see things a little differently and they did it. So, I have this done before and I can tell you that this time was a lot better. That is why I went with Atlas. I have gone with someone else here in San Antonio and was very displeased with the services. As a matter of fact, they had to tear up the flooring twice to get it right. This time it was put down once. It was great. It was fine. It was the right amount of time. If you have gone through a bad experience before, you know what a good experience is.

The salesperson I worked with, Sherry, was very responsive. I called one day and she was at my house the next day measuring and putting together a quote that I received the same day. She was able to provide better pricing for materials than another company that fell through on the project. The work they did is beautiful and they really helped get me out of a jam with this flooring situation.
