I have a large Arizona Ash in my back yard and noticed a large branch had started to crack and tilt toward my neighbor's backyard. In order to prevent any possible damage and/or injuries, I called Jesus from A-Best Tree Service at about 11:00 am. Jesus answered, was very pleasant, and came by my house two hours later to give me an estimate. He looked at the tree and agreed that the limb should be cut. I also wanted him to look at some of the other branches I wanted pruned and give me an estimate. His quote was $225 which I thought was reasonable because it included clearing away all debris.Jesus also told me before leaving he would ask me to look at the results to see if I was satisfied. He came the next morning at 8 am and did a very thorough job. Several other workers arrived with Jesus and the job was quickly taken care of to my satisfaction. It was such a good experience working with people that were pleasant, prompt and professional.

He was a very pleasant individual. I have no complaints. I got 4 estimates, and his was half of everone else's.

I called Jesus on Monday morning to ask him to come give me an estimate on having the tree completely removed. He came over in less than two hours, gave me a good estimate, and had a crew there to remove the tree by 2:00 PM. They had the job completed, and hauled away all the remains of the tree by 5:00 PM. His men were very professional, and friendly. By the way, while he was there my neighbor had him trim one of his trees after he completed the job he was doing for me.

As a member of Angie's List I reviewed the previous reports and was impressed with the prices for the services provided from A Best. I called Mr. Vivanco to request an estimate to cut and remove one large Juniper (Cedar) tree from my back yard. He returned my call within 30 minutes and came to give me an estimate that same day. Since his price for one very large tree was so reasonable I also asked that he remove two large limbs from red tip trees that were hanging over my neighbor's yard and pressing against the fence. Mr Vivanco arrived on schedule and his crew worked expeditiously and professionally. They certainly knew exactly what they were doing. I was very satisfied with the total job and the cleanup.

Jesus first came out to give me a free estimate and told me what he would recommend with my 3 very tall trees. He described in detail the branches he would remove that were in danger of falling. A few days later he called to follow up on my request and we set a date to start the job. He finished the entire job in one day. I had a chance to meet with his work crew and was very pleased. Jesus came back later in the afternoon when I got off work to ask my opinion and if I was satisfied. Only after that would he accept payment. He was polite, prompt and reliable.

Jesus was at my house in an hour. He cut up the tree and hauled it away.

Arrived on time and began work immediately. The work was done to my satisfaction and the employees cleaned up very well after themselves.

I had no choice. The branch had to be taken care of. I couldn't do it myself. They knew that and charged me as much as possible. The only bonus is they allowed me to pay them in two installments. But I didn't get a receipt or anything from them.

I called Jesus around noon to request an estimate for trimming the trees in my yard. Several of the trees were overhanging the roof and chimney and creating a roofing hazard. Jesus stopped by the same afternoon, walked the yard with me and discussed what he proposed and gave me a price on the spot. I told him that I had noticed that he also did fence work and asked for a quote to replace some sections of privacy fence that had loose or missing boards. Rain was forecast for the week, so Jesus asked if he could have his crew start that day after they finished another job. The crew showed up and began work with the most overgrown tree. Once they had trimmed the tree, Jesus called me out to inspect the work to make sure they were doing what I wanted. I thought I would have to remove one of the trees, but Jesus was able to raise the tree canopy quite a bit and trimmed it so that we could save the tree. It did rain for the next several days, so Jesus was not able to complete the work as quickly as he had planned, but he was at my house at every chance, even if it meant just getting a little more done. He also kept in touch with me by phone to let me know if he would be able to work on the trees or not on a particular day. I came home from work today to find all of the trees beautifully trimmed and a back yard that is more clean of debris than when Jesus and his crew started the job. He even hauled off tree trimmings that I had stacked by the fence from my last yard work day!

After researching Angie's list for a reputable company to provide tree trimming services, I found A-Best Tree Service. I called Jesus and told him I got his number from Angie's list and asked if would be able to give me an estimate for the job. He was able to come out the same day and gave the estimate. Although he could have done the job the following day, we agreed on a day for the following week. He and his 2 assistants arrived the next week and began the job. It took them about 6 hours to trim and remove Spanish moss from 3 large 40 foot trees and 3 mid-size live oak trees that had never been trimmed. About mid way through the job they asked me to inspect the work and I was pleased with the progress and quality of work. Near the end of the job they asked for me to inspect and I noted a couple minor areas that needed additional attention. They resolved the issues, took away all of the limbs from my yard and my neighbors' yards. The trees now look nicely groomed and hopefully the canopy will fill in much more since the limbs have been pruned and the moss removed. I will definitely use A-Best for future jobs and appreciate their professionalism and high quality of work.

I contacted Jesus at noon and asked for an estimate. I gave him my address and he said he would call me back. He called me back in 15 minutes and said he would do it for $90.00 I asked him when we could schedule it and he said I'll do it now. I ask how will I pay you and he said he would come by my house when I got home from work. I got home at 5pm and the stumps were gone and looked fantastic. He came back and gave me a fence estimate too.

I originally wrote that although I was happy with Jesus and the job - I was disappointed about the clean up and the wood plank that was broken on my fence. Jesus, after reading my report on Angie's list, called me up and apologized that I was not satisfied. He offered to come fix my fence and do more of a clean up. I really appreciate the sincerity and the concern Jesus expressed after finding out that was not completely satisfied. He assured me that if I hire them again they will do a better job at the clean up. I will use them again.

Jesus was very nice. He was able to come to the house the same day I called for an estimate, was able to do the job a few days later. The trees look fine but I was disappointed with the clean up job. A tree branch must have fallen and hit my wood fence because a wood plank was broken.

Great job! Jesus Vivanco provided an estimate for the work the day after he was called and then completed the work the next day. He and his assistant were courteous and professional. Would definitely hire again.

I called Jesus after finding his company on Angie's list. He answered his phone at 8PM - I was expecting to leave a voice mail so this was a surprise. He said he would be over in the morning at 9AM. He quoted me $400 and I said go for it! He did all the work as agreed and I was a satisfied customer. I would highly recommend his services.

Jesus was a little late in his initial estimate meeting, but made up for it by being early for the actual cut. He said that he loved Angie's List customers, and gave me what I considered a good price for the 1-1/2 hours work. The way he cut the trees left the remaining branches very natural in formation (like a good haircut), with no gaping parts.

Gave me an estimate and when I had questions came to my home to review estimate with me. When I still was unclear on how something would look, he trimmed a few trees to show me and assured me that he was doing this without expecting a commitment on my part. I received estimates from 3 Angie's List companies and all looked good, but he had the best price and seemed very committed to making sure that I was satisfied. They did a great job and I would recommend them highly.

They came out to give the estimate very quickly. They came back a few days later to do the work. It took about 3 or 4 hours to cut the trees, clean up and haul the mess away. I was pleased.

Excellent!!! Jesus came to give the estimate the same day I called, and they came to trim the next day. On time and with safety being a big plus. They used rappelling ropes to safely climb the trees, and did a very professional job! I knew one tree had ants in it, and then we discovered termites also, so had that tree cut down. Jesus is also going to come and work on the remaining stump to get it out and get to the ant nest. The workers were courteous and friendly, not minding me watching. They cleaned everything up and put all the limbs and trees by the curb for the city brush pickup that will start this coming Monday.
