A Best Tree Service

So far I am real happy. They offered me a good price and they got here right on time. He also gave me an Angie's List discount. They are doing a good job.

My initial call was returned within the hour, an appointment was scheduled that afternoon and the work was completed the next day. I highly recommend A Best Tree Service and I will be using them again throughout the year. The team did an excellent job, going even further by taking special care and instruction from my neighbor whose tree overhangs my garage. Very good work and there were no trimmings left anywhere.

Jesus and team were fast and efficient in taking down the large palms. They sliced the trees into manageable sizes and hauled everything away. Also did a fine job taking care of the other items on the list. Jesus was very professional and courteous and his team did a great job of getting things done and all cleaned up. I plan to use Jesus again

Jesus, the owner, was very professional and knowledgeable. I called him on a Wed for a quote, and he came out to do the work on Thu. The price was very reasonable and included clean-up and haul-away. During our initial meeting, he walked the yard with me and gave me his suggestions. After discussing my options, we agreed on a plan and a price. He trimmed several large trees as well as some overgrown shrubs in the backyard. He also removed a tree and two large shrubs. The quality of work was great and has definitely opened up the look of the yard. I would definitely use Jesus again and would recommend him to anyone needing tree trimming services.

I contacted Jesus requesting an estimate to trim a tree since we were having brush pick-up the following week there was no need for him to haul off the limbs. We scheduled the estimate appointment, but he got held up in traffic and showed up later than the agreed upon time. He did not call to tell me, rather I had to send him a text asking where he was. The estimate was good and after discussing it with my wife we decided to hire him. At the time of the estimate he stated that he was going to be out of town and would not be available on the weekend, but said that he would be able to take care of it on Thursday afternoon. He got tied up on another job on Thursday and could not make it, but he did send me a text asking to reschedule it for Saturday morning, which was acceptable. Him and his crew showed up on time Saturday morning and did a good job of trimming my tree. They piled the branches in the place I requested to make it easy for the city brush pick-up truck to get them. This is the second time I've used his service and would recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

We had a tree that died and needed to have it removed. I called Jesus after finding him on Angie's List and he came out to give an estimate and performed the work on the same day that I called him. We had researched prices and he was very fair in what he charged. He took time to answer our questions and was very accommodating. He cleaned everything up and left things as they were when he came. We will be using him again in the fall to do some more work to another large tree.

Same day estimate. Next day service. Removed a large tree and stump. Cut all wood to length for firewood. Removed all remaining debris. Would hire again...

Jesus responded same day to my request for an estimate. Since I didn't need to have the trees hauled away, he was able to give me a very nice quote. He offered to do the work the next day, but I asked to have it put off a few days, and he agreed. He and his men showed up promptly at 8 AM, and finished the job in 2 hours. They stacked all the debris neatly for our neighborhood pick up (as I had requested), cleaned the area up nicely, and did no damage to any of the property, even though the trees were in tight spaces. This company does excellent work, and I would not hesitate to use them again. One minor note, they do not accept credit cards anymore - but at these prices, that's fine!

Jesus arrived 20 minutes after my initial phone call. Since we were due to have bad weather in the upcoming days, he offered to complete the job that day, in order to beat the rain and expected high winds. He was polite and respectful. I was pleased with the outcome and appearance as well as the price. The job took 1.5 hours to complete and he informed me that he cut them all back enough that we shouldn't have to worry about having them cut again for 3 or so years.

Jesus came to my house within 2 hours of calling for an estimate. He started work the next week and finished that day. He and his helper cut down trees and trimmed other limbs for me. They did a great job of cleaning up and would absolutely hire him again.

Jesus responded to my phone call asking for an estimate in a timely fashion and arrived early for the appointment. We negotiated a price and time for the work. The day before the work was to be done Jesus called to confirm.Jesus and his crew arrived on-time. Jesus and crew removed one huge (35+ ft) chinaberry tree, one very large cedar and many smaller cedar trees and bushes as we agreed. He and his crew hauled the very large pieces away (2 pickup loads very full) and shredded the rest of the material and left it on the ground as I requested. The work was performed very much to my satisfaction. I will likely contact Jesus again for additional tree trimming as needed

We had Jesus and his team out to trim trees in our entire yard, and that is a lot of trees. When called for an estimate he made it out promptly. On the day the work was performed, he and his team arrived promptly to do the trimming. They did a professional job and walked me through yard and what they had done to make sure I was satisfied. They were very careful about cleaning up behind themselves. Very happy with the job.

I called Jesus at approximately 4:00 pm on Wednesday and he came over to give an estimate at 6 the same day. This was my second bid, and it was less than half the previous quote I had. We scheduled the service for that Friday morning. I was at work, during the service but Jesus called me to let me know that he couldn't grind the stump down (on the tree they removed) as far as he would like due to some underground electrical and cable lines in the area. I told him that was fine. When I got home, all the work had been completed as detailed. I'm very happy with the service and the price.

The company was prompt, the workers worked a solid 8 hour day, there was no slack time at all. I would definitely use this company again and I would refer them to my neighbors without hesitation. I am a very satisfied customer.

Jesus called right back after our initial call. He asked how he could help us and scheduled a visit to estimate the work. My wife and I have a tight schedule with work and other commitments, but Jesus was polite and we agreed on a date to do the work. That turned out to be the morning it sleeted but Jesus and his crew showed up on time and dressed in layers and ready to work. We sent them home and rescheduled. On the second date, again Jesus and his crew went right to work right on time. Along the way, Jesus would politely knock on the door to ask how we wanted things done and gave us advise on cutting and pruning the best way for our trees and shrubs. The 20 foot trailer was completely filled with the cuttings within the four hours it took to do the work. Jesus did some tweaks requested without hesitation and asked if he had done everything before he and his crew cleaned up and hauled the debris off. My wife and I will use A Best services again. Jesus is an honest, dependable and professional tradesman. We highly recommend him to anyone who needs quality landscaping work done.

I called for an estimate on 2/15/12 and Jesus came to the house that afternoon. The work was completed the next day! My initial impression of Jesus was that he was knowledgeable and honest. He arrived when he said he would, completed the work, and stacked the wood for city pickup next week. My initial impression was correct and I plan to have him take care of all of my trees. A great job at a fair price by a nice guy made my day.

I called A Best to see if they would be able to come out on fairly short notice to trim trees, so I could take advantage of free haul-off from the city during my annual brush collection date. Jesus returned my call promptly and came out to give me an estimate and was able to schedule the work for the next day. They did a good job trimming the trees. I appreciate that Jesus walked with me through my yard to ensure that they had gotten all the branches that I wanted removed.

It went well. The company removed the trees without leaving a big mess, and it did a good job.

I called Mr. Vivanco, who arrived in about an hour to estimate the job. We agreed on a price to remove the tree as well as the nearby stump of a huge agave I had mostly removed. He and three workers arrived on time and quickly finished the project. They removed both stumps and hauled everything away, leaving my yard relatively neat and clean. I say "relatively" because I could hardly expect them to crawl around the yard picking up individual berries. This job worked out well for them. My next door neighbor saw their work and hired them to remove a large Spanish Dagger (a variety of Yucca with very stiff and incredibly sharp leaves) from his back yard. He was also favorably impressed with the cost and quality of their work.

I called A Best yesterday for an estimate on trimming and cleaning up our oak trees in our front and back yards. Jesse was there within two hours for the estimate, which seemed quite low based on my 35 years of living here and having our trees trimmed, and I knew he must be good after reading other reports on Angie's List. So I didn't get any other estimates but accepted his bid and he and his team came out today. Jesse is very good at listening and doing exactly what you want. My husband has strong opinions about trimming trees and sometimes likes to leave certain dead limbs so that we will have a "woodsy" look in our yard. My husband has sometimes gotten annoyed at tree trimmers who didn't understand his requests or didn't honor them. But Jesse was a good listener and able to work well with my husband. We were both very happy with the work. They moved my potted plants in order to not damage anything and did a good job cleaning up. They worked quickly and efficiently, and I now have this project out of the way before January-June which is not considered a good time to trim oak trees in our neighborhood because of Oak Wilt.

Spoke with Jesus Vivanco,made an appointment for an estimate saturday at 2pm.He was a no call no show.I then received a call from him on monday apologizing for saturday that he went out of town.Giving him the benefit of doubt and very good reviews from Angies list I set an appointment with him for wednesday. He showed up alittle before the appointment time.After showing him the work I needed done he gave me the estimate, he also stated because I was an Angies member he was giving me this price. I knew having other companies come in to quote estimates would have been much higher and besides working two jobs and dealing with carpenter ants most of the summer and narrowing down that the queen was in one of the trees that needed to come down I was on a time constraint. The following monday the work was done. I was very impressed with Mr. Vivanco and his team. I thought since I had received such a good price I would have to clean up a mess.Nope,no clean up required on my part. The team was professional and proficient everything completed in approximately 4hrs. The trees and stumps are now gone not to mention the carpenter ants!

Great, see above. It is a relief to find a dependable company for small jobs, and we are very appreciative. We had several other previous estimates and happy to find a company that is most accommodating. We would hire him again.

Very quick response on getting an estimate and pricing was by far the best out of the 4 companies that I received estimates from. They did all of the agreed upon work and went beyond removing extra tree roots around the yard without me ever having to ask them to do it. I would recommend them and use them again.

Good job. Very competitive price. Was late arriving, but did come as promised. More than a few contractors just don't show up. I recommend.
