John Bacon Roofing Company

John Bacon was very professional as well as his crew. They cleaned up at the end of the day and hauled off the trash. I had a minor leak around the chimney and they came out immediately to fix it. Very happy with the overall job!

The work went well and was completed on time. At the time, I was satisfied with the work and wrote a favorable reply to Angie's List. Since the work, several shingles have not lain flat and I have made numerous attempts to speak to Mr. Bacon. I always have to leave messages on his cell phone. He returned the call one time, but I was not at home. I responded immediately but got no answer. Since then I have called several times and faxed a letter to him on June 29, 2012 asking for his help. So far there has been no reply to that fax. I want to get this attended to before my one-year warranty expires.

I called John Bacon asking for an estimate. He was at my house literally 15 minutes later. By the time he left, much, much later, he had given me more information about various problems (not just my roof and deck) than you can imagine: gutters, trees, outdoor carpet, etc. He came back a few days later and quickly took care of my roof tile for a reasonable price.
He was extremely friendly and helpful. He went far beyond anything I might have expected, and seemed really happy to be able to help, even though he got only a small job out of it.
I was nervous about finding a good roofer - the first one I tried never even got in touch with me after a call and 2 emails. However, I would not consider another roofer after dealing with John Bacon. I couldn't be more satisfied, and that's not something I say very often.

I used Bacon Roofing 14 years ago and found their work to be very good. When I had to replace the roof this year after hail damage, I did not hesitate to call Bacon again. They are courteous, reliable and professional. I particularly like the fact that they use hammers instead of nail guns or staples and staple guns to attach the shingles. I strongly recommend them.

Hail damaged roof - John has been working with us for years and when we had some shingles blow off, he replaced them and told us that we had extensive hail damage - he worked thru the whole process with our insurance company and the job was done professionally and punctually. John is a pro.

They are very quick to respond and have a lot of experience. They have been long time residents of the area, so they were very trustworthy.

John had the materials with him and was able to seal all the plumbing boots and also replaced a shingle while he was at it. He was polite and professional. I was even able to get back to work while he completed the work so I did not miss as much time from my job. Ms. Bacon from Bacon Roofing e-mailed me a PDF copy of my reciept and it was in my e-mail early the next morning. They are a nice family business and I would definitely recommend them.

It went very well. He did a very good job and the salesman Robert checked on the workers very frequently. The crew worked in 103 degree weather without many breaks. The crew was very courteous.

The installer was very professional. They cleaned up the yard and area around the house of nails and debris. I was very pleased with their work and the completed job.
