Description of Work: Wow, this company is awesome. They not only had a great bid but thought of details other estimators did not. They came out twice just to make sure the job would done perfect. A year has gone by since the installation and not only is our shower enclosure beautiful but no leaks or streaks.

Description of Work: The sales rep didn't want to come at the assigned time and instead opted to show up extra early in the afternoon so I had to arrange to leave work early to meet him and he showed even earlier than that. My wife took lots of notes and when I got home I tried calling him back to answer a couple of questions, but no answer, so I left a message and followed up with an email saying I wished to purchase a door. I never heard back from them and two weeks later when the refinishers were trying to work me in I found out that my order and paperwork had somehow never been processed. When I asked why not the gal on the phone was less than professional explaining that I had never paid a deposit...something that was never noted on any of the paperwork I had in my hand from them. I called back the next week to speak with a manager and was once again treated quite rudely. I would have cancelled the order then and there but I was under a construction schedule and couldn't wait the additional three-four weeks it would take to get a different company out to measure and order the glass. When the door came in the only bright spot was that Keith the installer was fantastic. Why he works for such idiots I don't know. He did a fine job and knew what to look for and was very particular to ensure the door was square and swung correctly. I was feeling better about the whole situation until two days after install when they called and said that my credit card was not going through. Upon research I found they had tried to run the card several times in rapid succession and my bank had frozen the account after the first charge went through. When I called them back to explain that they told me that they had no way to see what they had charged me and that they would need proof from my bank. They did manage to figure it out that the error was on their end but at that point it was par for the course for this company. If you can deal with Keith things will be fantastic and you will love the door you get in the end. If you have do deal with anyone else run far away the other direction. I am usually pretty easy going and can be understanding, but Shower Doors of Dallas should only be used if you can't find any other company and even then be very careful.

Description of Work: Brandon at Shower Doors of Dallas installed the frameless glass enclosure in our guest bath in December 2014 and did a beautiful job. It was not a simple job since it was an unusual shape and has uneven slate walls. We could not have been happier with the results and the way he handled the entire process! We are now getting close to installing a new shower in our master bath and will definitely be using him again. He came out for a free pre-construction quote and gave very helpful suggestions on the shower design. We've had some delays in construction, but are looking forward to having him return to install another beautiful enclosure for us!

Description of Work: (Amended review - corrected price.) Installed glass wall with swinging door across our tub-shaped shower stall. Job was done promptly, quickly and thoroughly.

Description of Work: I contacted them for a quote over the web with attached pictures of the project. I was simply replacing a dated gold-tone shower enclosure with all glass. I received a quote back within several hours and a call to schedule a measurement if the quote was acceptable. The quote seemed a little high, but after some research, it was in the ballpark. I had the measurement completed in a couple days from requesting the quote. About two weeks later, the glass was ready and the install was scheduled. I demo'd the original enclosure to do some grout repair so I cannot comment on that process. The install went smoothly and the enclosure looks great. The bathroom looks much more modern now. Everyone arrived on-time (no waiting around for 2 hours). Overall, very happy with the service, installed product and worker attitude. | |
