Description of Work: They replaced an old Trane furnace and AC system with a Lennox system, sealed the duct work seams in the attic and added extra blown in insulation. They were on time for the initial appointment and the furnace/AC installation. I would have given them an A rating except for two things. The AC installation was to included a new outside electrical box with circuit breaker. Instead they wired into my existing outside fuse breaker box which I didn't notice till later. I called, they came out and said the fuse box should have been replaced with a breaker box which they then changed. The 2nd thing involved the blown in insulation. My wife noticed after they were gone that they had missed an approximately 10 X 12 area in the attic. This surprised me since they told me they had completed the insulation job. I had a difficult time with appointments for the remaining insulation. They scheduled a couple of dates which didn't work for us. I called and changed the dates at least a week in advance, but they still showed up on the cancelled dates. It took about 6 weeks to get the remaining insulation added.

Description of Work: They installed a new Lennox SEER-16 air conditioner--the outside unit and attic unit, but did not do anything to the ductwork. They removed the attached dehumidifier on the old unit, until we see if the new AC requires it to reach the proper humidity levels. The old electronic air filter will be replaced at a later date, after we see how it works with the new HVAC. They did the work at the promised times, did a very professional job, and communicated well with us. They did exactly what we asked them to do, and we feel we received good advice on the types of units available, and which one would be best for us. We will not be able to provide more information until a reasonable time has passed to see how it responds to different weather conditions.

Description of Work: AC condenser motor had worn out. Entire assembly had to be replaced. Did job next day part could be received. Cost $945 but AC works very well. Happy with their work. Job done on 8-10-15.

Description of Work: Chris Strand purchased Stan's Heating and Air. Chris Strand came out with a technician June 29th to review the work that Stan's Heating and Air had done in 2009 which was never satisfactorily completed - our home would not cool any more than 80 degrees in the hot summer months. Chris Strand had a subcontractor come out and correct platforms, ductwork, adding intake vents and apply vent seals. We also purchased 90% solar window screens. |It appears that the cooling is doing better than in previous summers. It is a bit early to say it is great, but I am confident that should we need to call Chris Strand again, we will be assisted. |I am very pleased that Chris Strand was willing to fix problems he inherited when he purchased Stan's Heating and Air. He and my husband talked quite a bit regarding what, if any, additional things could be done to our home to help with the cooling. My husband was confident Mr. Strand was very knowledgeable in the A/C business.

Description of Work: We had an A/C unit that was leaking water into our closet. They came out the day after we called and fixed the problem in less than an hour. They were polite and professional and we really appreciated the service.

Description of Work: We've used Strand Brothers Service experts for years and they have always provided good service. We most recently called them two days ago (a Saturday) when our thermostat went out. A serviceman came that evening and repaired a switch that had become inoperable due to high condensation. Their service people always have provided us with great, friendly, and professional service.

Description of Work: I used the first of two seasonal visits to have my air conditioner serviced for the summer (the other wil be in the fall). The technician was on time and gave my air conditioner a thorough check-up. We discussed the age of my unit and he offered an item that he said would help my unit run more efficiently. Because of the age of my unit I decided not to purchase. I was not pressured at all and we left it that if I changed my mind, I could call and have the item installed. I have used the Church Services service plan since it was Christian Brothers and I have always been happy with their service.

Description of Work: I am currently using Church Services for annual AC and Plumbing maintenance at my home. Church services installed a new AC unit last year and I'm very satisfied with the work and the performance of the new system. The Plumbing services have been great. The staff is very knowledgeable, professional and thorough.

Description of Work: They performed a check on our A/C system. They explained everything thoroughly, as usual. They are always on time and leave everything clean and every person they have sent to our home has been very pleasant, too.

Description of Work: They fixed a break in our water line. |I had already done most of the digging for them. |It took about 3 hours and was difficult work; |however, I felt they overcharged us. |In fairness to them, we have not had any |problems with the quality of the work, which has held up so far.

Description of Work: They showed up on time, installed a water purifier. He cut a hole in the wall, and left it open. The total job took about 2 hours to complete, and the charge was $1200. The installer attached the system to a 2 X 4 (still exposed) and left a big hole in the wall. My girlfriend was dying of brain cancer, and I feel that the installer took advantage of her situation with the charges. I was very dissatisfied with their job.

(I've had USAA insurance since about 1972) the ins person said that the proposal they provided was the most useless he had received in his career. I don't want to bother with more details. I'll simply not use them again.

Description of Work: Tanner replaced a switch in my condenser that was frozen in the "on" position. He also showed me that our 23-year-old system was not operating efficiently and set an appointment with a salesman to go over the options available for replacing our old system. Everyone was professional and very helpful.
