It went great! We initially had another plumbing company come out for the same problem (charged us $300 and didn't fix it). Church is always prompt, professional, and do quality work. I strongly recommend them for plumbing and HVAC work.

They came out and did a good check of our HVAC unit. The unit has held up fine since they did the work.

The service turned out well. Everything went very smooth and I was very happy with what they did.

I started a contract with them for year round maintenance.They were very helpful. They offered a lot of advice on how to maintain the different systems - plumbing & HVAC. They're very professional.

They were fantastic. They put booties on their feet and he was great guy and worth it. I do not need anymore and I have not called Angie’s list since I remarked that address. I cannot remember, I know I got this service for when the toilet was not working and they did the plumbing but then, I think when I did the big deal when I had them come out and I asked them what would it cost to replace the plumbing that was missing and the garbage was on and he had one there on his truck and gave me a price on it and I cannot remember it was a big deal price and I just know that I got one I needed. It has been great. It was excellent.

I have been a customer since early during the time of their start in Austin, TX. They do a great job. I have never had a complaint in the many years of our business relationship.

I love the Strand Brothers Service Experts Plus Service Plan. It is so hard to remember to schedule those pesky maintenance appointments but Service Experts will not let you forget to schedule. They call and mail many gentle reminders. The plan is reasonably priced and entitles you to priority scheduling. I was able to book a same day appointment. The tech was punctual and seemed knowledgeable but was a little chatty. Nonetheless, it was another good experience from Service Experts.

Great! Tanner, Alpha and Lance were on-time, efficient, professional and polite and the experience was the best.

They were very nice. But they didn’t carry Linux and I wanted Linux. I think they sold their company to another company. They processed all the papers and arranged for the inspection. I didn’t have to pay anything the last time because it was under warranty. The workers were great and they did the job fast. They arranged it all the things and they always called me. I have recommended them to other people. Their price was very good.

He completed both projects with time to spare although I had no other project for him to work on. The additional charge was for some parts required to complete the sink repair.

Strand Brothers/Service Experts went way beyond expectation. We are an older couple with a limited income. Strand worked with us to provide the services we needed at a price we could manage. They were punctual, courteous, and efficient. The work site (my house) was left clean and tidy. As far as I can tell, they actually did more work than the estimate called for. I will ceertainly use this company for similar services, and will probably use them for any services I need that they provide. I cannot praise the service I received highly enough. It was far beyond outstanding.

I refuse to pay for any quote for services or for inspections to provide an estimate. That's ridiculous. They are making tons of money off their charges. Not sure how they made it to Angie's list, but they should be banned. This company is corrupt.

Very good experience. besides the scheduled service, also removed some vines from outdoor units. Courteous, punctual, and reasonably priced.

I appreciate that the service guy came out on Saturday, and don't mind paying for the service call. If they had come back with a reasonable quote to replace the mini-split, I would have used them. We paid about $1800 for the original unit (which required wiring and wall penetration). These guys quoted $4500 for a replacement. We could find the same mini-split system at Home Depot, Lowes, and Amazon for $1800, so their labor costs were almost $2000!!! It seemed to me like they over-bid, just because they didn't want to do the job, because there is no way $2000 for labor to replace a mini-split is reasonable. I would rather they were honest and just said they didn't want the job. Now, I will not ask them to quote for me again, for anything. I don't trust them.

The Service man arrived on time and was very polite. I had bought new Shower heads with Shower handsets for two bathrooms. The Service man took the old parts off and installed the new ones. Everything went well.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out really well. They were going to come out and take a look at the furnace. I think that the serviceman that they sent out was very nice, very professional, and very knowledgeable. I think he's probably one of the best servicemen of any sort that I've had at my house.

The washer and dryer was delivered on September 12, 2013 by Home Depot. It was hooked up to the newly prepared faucets and drain without any problems. The next day, after spending most of the day reading the manual to get acquainted with operating this new revolutionary laundry product, I loaded up a wash. I checked it prior to it going into the spin cycle and everything was going fine. I was on my computer when a short time later, I heard a splash sound coming from the laundry room. I opened the door and saw water jumping up out of the box where the drain hose was located. I panicked; grabbing towels, blankets, and tossing them onto the laundry room floor, the kitchen floor, where the water had spread and was quickly running onto the carpeted area in the dining room. After putting down all the towels; I unplugged the washer, called our courtesy responder. He was no help to me. I then called Church Services and told them what had happened with the water backing up and reminded her that these were a new job previously done by them (Wanda remembered the job.) She sent a new plumber . Although he knew it was the result of the first plumber not completing the job, he still told me he would have to charge me as a NEW job. I was upset but since he had me over a barrel, I agreed to pay but let him no I did not think it was right. He ran a 30' coil/snake down the drain and said it was a blockage of hair in the drain. This took less than 15 minutes. A few days later, I received a call from management asking me about the results of the original job. I told him of the problem that had occurred and he immediately apologized and told me he would report this to upper management and he assured me that I would be getting a credit for the second charge. He agreed that I should never have been charged for the 2nd plumber to complete the job. As promised I got a full refund credited back to my account within three days. Management has refunded the entire amount that was paid to unstop the drain. As a result, all is well and I will definitely call on Church Services in the future, especially if I should need any plumbing associated with the installation of my new washing machine. A company that treats their company fair is very rare these days....especially here in America!

There is a pattern to everything I have experienced with Church. The repair people are always selling something...things that i didn't need. If I bought them, it was my fault in retrospect. The repair people sell you through great personalities, but not what you need. At my request, several years ago the electricians came out to add some electrical outlets, and I ended up paying for the outlets plus 2 installed surge protectors covering the entire house. 3 years ago we were having problems with getting hot water, and the plumbers sold me 2 new hot water heaters (for my 7 seven year old house). One of the pipes they starting leaking three years and caused $7-10,000 of damage from the leak. The company said I had to pay $204 to fix the the one copper pipe, but since I was doing one, why didn't I replace the twin pipe on the other hot water heater? Last year, we were having problems with our a/c system in our almost 9 year house. Church gave me a proposal of $20,000 for new systems. When I declined, they offered a 15% discount. When I declined again, they offered to take the coils out of the bid to greatly reduce the price. Why did they offer something that I didn't need in the first place? The repair people are extremely personable and polite, but they must be on a compensation system that includes selling products/services. This is totally inappropriate; if they are doing it, it is a conflict of interest. In fairness, I did voluntarily buy the products and services. If I bought unnecessary products, that's my fault.

Unbeknownst to me, I was supposed to be getting my water heater flushed every year. Apparently when you don't flush it every 6-12 months like is suggested, sediment builds up and sits at the bottom where the water drains out. When they flush it, the sediment can block the drain and cause something on the seal to break. If that happens, they won't be able to seal it back up so you can ruin the water heater. He let me know that my water heater may break when he flushed it, since I had never had it done before and it had been so long. I was on pins and needles as he said he wouldn't know if my unit would break until he actually flushed it. I saw proof of the sediment he talked about because the water that drained out on the driveway had a lot of white powdery chalk and rust in it. After the gentleman successfully flushed my water heater, he did let me know the next time I get it flushed it will break, so he said to leave it alone and not flush it again until I'm ready for a new water heater.The gentleman who did the service was good, helpful, and honest. He was able to get the water heater closed, sealed, and fixed. I was so appreciative and grateful that he took care not to damage or break the water heater during the process.

The service is excellent. They were on time and they were able to accomodate my schedule. The professionalism and the quality are excellent.

I noticed our downstairs AC wasn't cooling properly and called Strand Brothers Service Experts mid-afternoon. They had a technician at the house that afternoon. He worked diligently (past "quitting time") and though he tried a temporary fix, he was unable to improve the situation. We had been told before that we would probably need a new AC soon, so were not too surprised when he told us the same thing. We asked him to have a sales rep call us the next morning. The sales rep came out and gave us three options. We chose the middle option--a unit just like one we'd installed upstairs a couple of years ago. (They gave us a credit for the cost of the repair visit.) The installation occurred two days later--which was important to us because we had company coming in that afternoon. (We did not tell them this initially, so it wasn't like they specially scheduled it.) The team arrived on time and set to work. They worked diligently for about 5 hours and completed a clean installation, both inside and out. They also adjusted the upstairs unit to address my concerns about it being too noisy and forceful. They even filled out the paperwork for our rebate from the City of Austin. This provider has had some corporate changes through the years and there is confusion around its name. Be sure you get the right one.
