They had five employees come out, it was only about two and half hours. They quoted six hours but took care of it a lot quicker. Franco the supervisor was great with communication. They did a terrific job and I am very pleased with the work. You should expect to get very good service. I've never had complaints with them over the years. They are always very professional.

They sent a guy out the next day. He was a knowledgeable repairman. It turned out to be my thermostat or thermometer, whatever it is. He fixed it and it was great. They installed it about 4 or 5 years ago. Then I had them install in a rental house that I have. They did a good job.

I have a standing yearly maintenance agreement with Strand Brothers Service Experts. For $228 annually, they provide two tuneups a year including a guarantee of any work or parts they install during those visits. I choose to get a summer A/C and a winter heater tuneup which works well for me. They would charge half that amount if I had only one heater/ac unit but I have two because of the split level construction of my house. I am totally satisfied with their service appointment scheduling as well as their technical expertise and customer service. They have a separate sales staff which will help you select replacement appliances if that is what you need but I have not experienced any high pressure sales tactics from this company. Like m,any other companies they will help you navigate through the various City of Austin rebate programs.

I don't have any problem, with them. Strand Brothers Service Experts have been doing a very good job for us.

We are in the process of dealing with them right now. We are getting some duct work with them. They got very nice people. They are very professional. They come and do what they are supposed to do. I had not had any problems with them. They had been good with setting up an appointment and their customer service on the phone. We are using them all the time.

We actually stopped using them because it felt like they were always trying to make us buy expensive stuff.

From my initial call on a Saturday, I was most impressed with Strand Plumbing services. We were immediately given a window from 2-4pm for service. Although we did not get a confirmation call prior to the service like we had been told, we were home to meet Eric for the job. My husband had begun some of the repair but Eric confirmed what was needed and replaced the outside water valve. He was very straight forward, courteous, and informative. He had 16 years of experience and was very reliable. We will continue to use Strand and will request Eric for any other plumbing issues. Of the numerous companies that I called today, Strand was about the only company willing to come out today!

The tech from Strand Brothers Service Experts was very knowledgeable. I went on the website and I think in the coupon it was very detail as to what they were going to inspect and do and then I also visited the website and there was more information on it. The quality was very good, they were very responsive.

It's been good. First time is plumbing and the second time is A/C. They specialize on different area and they're reliable. They also have timely appointments and they have courteous technicians. They showed up when they said they would.

Saturday our son accidentally dug right into the water pipe that goes to our house. After trying to find someone who works on a Saturday AND answers their phone AND had a good rating with Angie's list, we landed on Strand brothers. They gave us a window of 4-6pm. They called 2-3 times to let us know that it would be later but they were definitely coming. The man who arrived was professional, had a good attitude (can be h****** a Saturday night!), and got the job done. We are very happy with the work. I did give a "B" to price simply because I find the price high.... I doubt they are any higher than any other plumber in Austin... just it hurts to pay that much for a quick repair! We would recommend them to others. (The $25 off coupon found on their web site was helpful.)

We had water pressure and heat problems, and my husband called on a Sunday evening and was able to get an appointment for early Monday, which was fantastic. Augustine arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and recommended a new water heater. He gave us options, explained everything, and was pleasant. He gave us updates along the way and made sure there were no surprises. Here's what really set him apart: That night, we smelled gas around the new heater -- not super strong but noticeable. He left his phone number on the receipt, so I gave him a call to ask if that was normal, should we be concerned, etc. He was already across town -- which is fine, I didn't expect him to come over, I just wanted to ask about the smell -- but told me that he had tested everything and it shouldn't smell. It may be a leftover smell from when they bled the lines. He said definitely call him back if it got worse, etc. He was clearly concerned, took my question seriously, and gave me the info I needed to feel comfortable. The very next morning, around 8 am, there's a knock on the door -- it's Augustine. He came by to double-check the seals. I can't express how much I appreciate this. He took a few minutes to spray something on the seals to test them, reassured me, and I was incredibly impressed with his concern and his coming back -- unprompted -- to make extra sure everything was okay. I don't know that, in 20+ years of home ownership, I've ever had service like this. I really appreciate Augustine, and for Service Experts for employing him.

I used them for a rental property that I have, and the tenants did not have a problem. They were there when they said. They did not charge anything more than the $29 that I had paid for the big deal.

We didn't use them. They were a good company, i decided with a different brand and work with them because of the material they use.

I have had them over a year each time they are courteous and professional they tell me what they will be doing and the final outcome. Strand brothers also put in an entire system, A/C, new furnace and did the insulation of my attic, window and doors and the price and work was exceptional, highly recommend them.

They sent a "plumber" to the house. He came and it was obis he had no idea of what he was talking about. He quote $400 plus parts. I went back to Home Depot where I purchased it. They charged $200, no cost for the stainless line and it took 35 minutes to complete. When Churches wad Southwest plumbing they were outstanding. Southwest merged with someone else to become Church.

It was not a rush job and so I asked for the most experienced team -- I did not mind waiting to get a good job. I was assured I would get that team plus an inspector to inspect the job. The two guys that came out had 1.5 years and less than a year experience (I specifically asked). They cut my other hvac line in the process of installation. They turned my other hvac on full blast and put a fan at the point where they cut the line so they could have a/c blowing on them while doing the job. My smoke detector went off which was near the attic entrance and one of the guys disconnected it and broke it. I had to buy a new one after they left. After the job was complete they taped the line they cut but it was leaking a lot of air. His solution was to recut the line in a part of the attic I could not reach. I did not ask why (was that so I could not feel the leak?) but declined the solution. The inspector that came out after the job did not detect the leakage even though I showed him where it was cut. After his inspection I asked about the leak and had to go back up to the attic to show how bad the leak was. He did have the guys come out and do a good job on the cut line. My concern was why did I have to be the one to point this mishap to both the crew and later the inspector -- and what other things did they mess up that I did not have the knowledge to check. The 'inspector' was only concerned about the outside pressure readings.
