Great job. Todd our project manager worked proactively with our insurance adjuster to point out any missed damage. He got us scheduled quickly after after the insurance was approved. Materials were delivered on a Monday & the roofing began early Tue morning & was complete by shortly after noon. His gutter contractor was out that same day to measure. There was one glitch with the gutter contractor & the installation day had to be rescheduled, but he did a good job. The roofers did a good job and cleaned up the mess before they left. The roofers did a magnet sweep to pickup nails & then Todd came back & did a couple of nail sweeps himself. The only damage that was done was a few sheet rock nail pops. Todd sent someone out to take care of that. Only a couple of days after job completion we had a torrential rain storm. At one time we had close to 2" in 30 minutes. In the few days we accumulated over 5". No leaks whatsoever.

Very well. The inspector/estimator camera the appointed time. He took his time looking things over and answered all of our questions. Our insurance company also sent an adjuster who agreed with the roofer’s assessment. We set a date, the crew showed up early and was ready to begin work as soon as they could by HOA rules. They did the whole job in one day. They have checked back with us 2x since the job was completed to be sure we are happy. No high pressure sales junk (as often happens w roofers in DFW). I have recommended them to some of my neighbors.

We had the same salesperson and she is fabulous. They cleaned up beautifully. Ask any questions you want and they will answer them. I appreciated that this time out they mentioned about the 50 year shingles and they did not the last time. I don't know if that was because they didn't exist or they didn't carry them.

We had initially been denied roof damage on our house after a big storm last Spring. Mitch with DFW Premium Roofing came by, documented our roof damage, and was there with our insurance claims specialist for our reevaluation. The adjuster came by on Sunday, we had the initial/partial check on Wednesday, and a new roof on Friday morning. They even bought new magnet rollers for our yard, because of our retaining walls, to pick up the nails that might have been missed in the yard. The whole crew was fast and professional!! And, our roof looks amazing!!

it only took 1 day with the crew that was here to get the roof up. i didn't count how many men were working, but they were finished by 2.30pm. ithe gutters and leaders followed later. mindy was here to check on the progress as the roof was going up. i appreciated having a woman salesperson due to the attention to detail.
Description of Work: we had a hail storm in mid-August which destroyed the roof and also caused damage inside the house from leaks. Mindy was our sales person and she did a fabulous job explaining what the company provided when doing a roofing job. She even went up on the roof with the adjuster both times they were here to act as our advocate. we replaced the entire roof along with the gutters and leaders.

They were able to remove the old shingles and replace the roof in less than a day. Very orgainzed crew. They cleaned up after they finished. They kept their commitments as per our contract. We had one minor issue, which they immediately responded to and we have had no other problems or issues. Our sales person was extremely professional and responded to all of our questions before, during,, and after the work was completed. We were completely satisfied!

Tim was our salesperson who was prompt, professional, and friendly from start to finish. I had to go out of town while the job was being performed, so he kept me updated with picture-texts on the progress. The end result was better than I imagined! I am satisfied and recommended them to my parents (who also used them to have their storm damaged roof repaired).

I had a wonderful experience with DFW Premium Roofing. They worked with my insurance company to get my roof replaced at NO cost to me! Even doing all the foot/phone work to get the paperwork handled for me.The crew was very punctual, and worked extremely fast. They arrived at my house first thing in the morning, and were done with my entire roof before 1:00 PM. They did a great job of cleaning up! My salesman/estimator, Mike was very easy to work with. He even stopped by during the installation to check on me, my house and his crew to make sure things were going smoothly. While there, he showed me the radiant barrier decking that they were installing, and gave me a "hands on" demonstration as to how good it really works. It was slightly chilly that morning, and he walked us over where the decking material was stacked in my driveway. A simple walk around the decking to the opposite side from the sun, and you could easily feel the heat being reflected off of the decking. A few weeks after the installation, I noticed a few small areas on the rear of my house where the shingles had buckled. I called to my salesman Mike, who had a very skilled repairman, Luis, at my house the following weekend. He repaired all of the buckled shingles, and even pointed out a few to me that needed attention, and repaired them as well. Great attention to detail!
Description of Work: DFW Premium Roofing replaced my entire roof, from the decking, up. Removing the old composite shingles, and cedar shingles. Installing decking with radiant barrier, felt, and brand new composite shingles, as well as new turbine vents at the top of my roof. They did all the haul away and clean up. After the installation, I did have a few small issues with shingles buckling, but they came out the very next weekend to address and fix these problems at no additional cost.

Overall, DFW was awesome from Mike, the salesman to his manager and the crew that did the installation. I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with this company, I highly recommend DFW Premium roofing and Mike. The whole process took about 2-3 weeks, but most of that was because of having to schedule around my work schedule. My roof looks incredible and now that it is summer in Texas, I've noticed a huge difference in the temp in my house because of the turbines ventilating my attic. I can't thank these guys enough. 4 thumbs up!
Description of Work: There had been several hail storms in my area over the last couple of years, after a fairly bad storm that tore up the DFW area, I decided it would be a good idea to have mine looked at. I called DFW premium roofing and got a salesman named Mike. After discussing my roof and recent hail storms he arranged to come out with his manager to personally take a look at my roof. They came out a few days later when i had a day off from work. They arrived exactly on time and after looking at my roof they determined that I will most likely need a new roof but I would have to have my insurance company do an estimate first. The insurance company came out and looked at it, telling me that I will indeed need a new roof. I contacted Mike and he and his manager came to my house to meet and discuss my options (shinge, color, etc..) and schedule a day to have the work done. Within a week on my next day off work, I woke to my doorbell about 6 in the morning, Mike and the DFW roofing crew were there, ready to get started on my roof. They were completely done on a fairly large roof by about 2 or 3 in the afternoon. The roof looked great and they even installed 2 turbines (didn't have them before) on my roof and replaced all the exhaust pipes and the metal top to my chimney all painted to match the shingles.

Our roof was damaged in the spring of 2009. We moved a year later to our present address. We were very happy with our salesman--Joe. He met with our insurance company and our roofs (home, outdoor kitchen, and Sauna) were replaced very quickly. I can't tell you how much this improved our home! The gutters were great too. I was really impressed with the crew who installed our roofs. They were finished in a day. Amazing! We loved DFW Premium Roofing and will use them again. Susan Alexander

I contacted DFW Premium Roofing to come to my house and let me know if I needed to contact my insurance company. Tim was my salesman and he informed me that I had enough damage to warrant calling my insurance company. He also informed me how the insurance process would go. When the adjuster showed up at my house Tim was already on him. The adjustor informed me that our roof and gutters were damaged and that the insurance company would be paying for full replacement. The adjuster told me that I was able to pick the contractor that I wanted and if I did choose to go with DFW Premium Roofing that they were a very good company. Once I received my paperwork from the insurance company, I signed a contract with Tim (DFW Premium Roofing). He asked what day I would prefer my roof to go on and which day I would prefer for the gutters to go on. I informed him the sooner the better. Tim informed me that DFW could install the roof at the end of the week and the gutters the day after. The materials were dropped at my house on Thursday afternoon and the roof was scheduled for Friday. Friday morning, the DFW installers were at my house at 8am and began removing the old shingles. Even though my roof is not very big the roofers were very efficient and clean during the whole process. I couldn't believe it but they were done by 2:00! Tim was on sight throughout the process along with other employees from DFW head office (David I believe was his name). Tim also went over my whole yard and driveway with a magnet to make sure they got all the nails. He even went over to my neighbors to let them know if they got a nail in their tires that he would take care of them. On Saturday, my gutters were installed with the same efficiency and cleanliness. Overall, I couldn't be happier with DFW Premium Roofing. Tim was a great person and didn't try to force me to do something I didn't want to do, like most salesmen do. The roofers were terrific and very clean. I would highly suggest DFW Premium Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof.

I contacted this company the first week in June to replace my rental house's roof due to hail damage. At first they were very nice, but it quickly went downhill. The original estimator who came out made promises that he couldn't keep, and he ended up getting fired, after the contract had been signed and the work started. Both he and the estimator I had to deal with after him were at times rude, and it took them days to return my phone calls.. After the roof was completed, they kept showing up at the rental property to collect their money, even though I told them numerous times they needed to contact me, not my renters. it took them over a month before they finished the roof, and there was a big delay on replacing the cover on my patio, due to misinformation they had given me and their inability to find the proper materials. The total job was not completed until September. Before I met with them to give them their final payment, they assured me they would bring the final paperwork, and the warranties on the roof and the patio cover. However, when they showed up, they had "forgotten" those papers. Very unprofessional, very unorganized company. I don't advise anyone to do business with this company.

They completed a neighbor’s roof down the street, then mine, and my mother’s. The salemsan continuously called me about the other ongoing projects. The salesman stated that several items would be completed that weren’t in the contract, as this would be a 40% savings. He said he would do it himself and not turn the paperwork into the company but suspiciously put it on the company’s letterhead. I would think this would be a breach of contract. Once sent out to my moms, the crew was drinking beer on the job, as witnessed by myself, my mother and a neighbor. I confronted the supervisor and all he offered was that it was good for the souls, stating they needed more than water and Gatorade. The salesman came out to look at the roof work ongoing at my mother’s house and I informed him of the drinking. He may or may not have actually called anyone and told me that it was the first time they had used this particular crew and would not use them again. I informed him that I was going to call the sheriff to file a report. He didn’t want me to and stated that he would take care of it, but obviously not. They did not leave my mother’s home until late in the evening (about 9:00) and very early the next morning , the same crew was working on a neighbor’s home. I would think drinking on the job would be breach of contract. The salesman called me for 3 days, being told that someone would be out to complete the work, but no one showed up for quite some time. The salesman told me that if we were that unhappy, they had our checks, we’ll just call it even, and we can find someone else. A few of the neighbors had their mortgage tied into their checks and would obviously not be able to take them up on this offer, as it didn’t just include the roof. However, I chose to take him up on his verbal offer to walk away. I paid $10,000 and they will not be back to my house. The total contract was going to be for over $13,660. I was told that we’re even, they’ll send me a letter of certification, and close my account. The next day a crew showed up and had none of the necessary materials. I told them that I already told the salesman that I had no work for them here as I didn't want any part of that company back at my house. A crew came out on Wednesday, August 10th, showing up to do work. I immediately called the office and the woman on the phone had to speak with a supervisor. Once she called me back, she stated they were scheduled to come out before I chose not to have them complete the work. I don’t understand how this was possible as that decision was made weeks ago. She told me to tell the crew that there was no work for them and to go where they came from. I advised the crew of this and they told me that my house was the only address they were given. This obviously upset them as they drove about an hour and a half from Dallas. I called back to the office and the owner of the business was put on the phone and basically chewed me out. He told me he was tired of hearing about it and hung up on me. I called right back and asked to speak with him again. He got on the phone and told me to call someone else and hung up again. I felt him haning up on me is breaching the contract. On Saturday August 13th another contractor showed up stating that he was sent by DFW Premium Roofing to install gutters. I also told him that I have told the company three weeks ago not to send anymore contractors to my house. I don't understand why DFW Premium Roofing keeps sending contractors to my house and not any of the neighbors that are still waiting for their work to be finished. It was a nightmare from start to finish.
Description of Work: I did my research on DFW Premium Roofing and found them to be accredited, which may not have been valid. I referred my mom and three other neighbors based on the information I researched on them.

Our A/C went out and I contacted them to fix it. I talked to the salesperson and he told me that they would be coming out to fix it. It went on for a week before anyone actually came out. I called him and asked him what was going on and he started cursing at me and told me that he sent someone out and that was a lie. He told us that he would come out several times and never did. He has lied to us from the beginning. We thought he would work out because he said he could fix everything that the insurance person said needed to fix. They also did not install a board over my window to block rain, so I had to purchase one and install it myself. I asked him to reimburse me for that board, because my adjuster included that in the repairs. And he told me I could get in trouble for insurance fraud for that. They also have said that if one of my friends comes anywhere on my property, they will pull off the job. This particular friend has filed complaints against this company in the past, but they cannot dictate who I have at my house. March 5, 2012 The company has since taken me to court twice for breach of contract. The first time they took me to JP court and on 1/12/12 it was dismissed without prejudice. The agent from DFW was upset and filed on me again, but he didn’t show up to court, which was on 2/29/12. This was then submitted with prejudice so they cannot sue me again, but they can appeal it to take me to county court. What this does is that they are tying me up so that I cannot get someone else to work on the roof, siding, and interior underneath. They have harassed me and kept me tied up, and my house is incurring more and more damage while it sits. This was all an insurance claim, but I have not received a bill and they have not submitted the proper papers to my mortgage company. One of their requests was that I retract this statement from Angie’s List, but after such a bad experience I want people to hear about this. At one point, I had to call the sheriff’s department because they said they would take my AC Unit, and I was told by the sheriff’s department that if they did it would change from a Civil to a Criminal matter and they would step in. They contacted DFW to tell them that they had better not take my AC unit. UPDATE: March 21, 2012 - They appealed the prejudice from 2/29/12. I have not been served as of yet but I do know that they did appeal. They have also included within the breach of contract lawsuit that I retract any statements I have made to Angie's List. They are doing everything they can to keep me from getting my home fixed. Buyer Beware!

Response from DFW Premium Roofing
On July 10, 2011 DFW Premium Roofing contracted her for $13, 025. 68 to put a new roof on her mobile home, replace the vinyl skirting on the right and left side and the back of her mobile home, remove and replace her back door, remove and replace a window and screen, replace a light fixture, and replace the A/C unit. On July 28, 2011 we schedule the roof to be put on, which it was put on. It is a GAF Elk lifetime shingle. The A/C unit was scheduled to be installed on August 02, 2011, a Monday. She called on Friday July 29, 2011 saying her A/C unit had stopped working and wanted someone to replace or repair it that day. The A/C contractor rearranged his schedule and replaced her unit the same day, July 29, 2011. On Monday, August 02, 2011, she called our office saying the wrong roof had been put on her mobile home. I explained to her that all GAF Elk Architectual shingles are a lifetime shingle and that the manufacture was going to continue to use the old wrapping paper until it was all gone. At the point the new wrapping paper would say "Lifetime." A couple of days later, I went to her mobile home to meet with the contractors to complete all work per the contract. At that point I was told by her to leave her property and not to return. I tried to explain to her about the wrapping paper on the shingles but she refused to listen, so I called the account representative of our supplier. He told her the exact same thing I had told her, but she didn't believe him either. So I gave her the phone number to the GAF Elk manufacturing representative. She refused to call the representative for GAF Elk, called her insurance company and had them stop payement on the check. She then called her mortage company and told them not to endorse the check. She refuses to pay DFW Premium Roofing the $8,195 she owes for the roof and new A/C Unit and will not allow DFW Premium Roofing to complete the job or let them back on her property. All that we asked from her was for her to call the GAF Elk representative to verify that we had installed the correct shingle on her roof. She refuses to call the representative for verification of the roofing system that was installed on her home and wants to keep all the money instead of paying us for the work that was peformed.
