They worked us in to their schedule and came by within a couple hours of first talking to them. The work was well done, instructions and guidelines for the new equipment were given and they cleaned up after they were done.

Had a quote from company 2 years ago to replace leaky faucets. At the time an extensive evaluation and a fair honest quote was provided. I decided 2 years later to move forward with replacement. A different plumber came out and without even touching the faucet evaluating from a distance determined extensive repairs were required. The plumber became offended with my questions for questioning him about the repairs. He knows best and I am supposed to accept his evaluation no questions asked. I sent him away. I called and spoke to his manager. The manager defended his employee. Did not care that his employee did not even turn on the outdoor faucet to evaluate it or even take a close look at it. Told me they had to cut the pipes and replace the leaky pipes which do not leak. I had replaced the faucet many years ago and no pipes needed to be cut or replaced then. The manager and employee were corrupt and dis honest by providing estimates for work without any evaluation of the problem and quoted over 800 dollars to replace a leaky outdoor faucet. 400 dollars for a 25 dollar faucet and 400 additional dollars for work determined without any evaluation besides his experience says. I will never use this company again after the experience discussing it his manager. I will be canceling my annual club membership and find a different company. I had a similar experience with company an electrician for electrical work last year but did not speak to manager. On even another separate occasion quoted 20k for a 12k Generac install. I was quoted 6k to replace a 2k electric panel. This company is robbery. There was several occasions I paid a premium and was satisfied with there work but I will no longer consider them for future work.

Excellent service and quick, clean installation, all at a price that was significantly lower than a couple of similar-sized companies. Baker Brothers has done various work for us over the years and their quality has remained top-notch.

Had two gas water heaters go out simultaneously. I called Baker Bros ijn the evening and had a technician the next day. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the heaters. My sons were thrilled to have hot water, and the rest of us were thrilled they were able to bathe again.

Do not use Baker Brothers. It is a complete racquet from our experience this past year. We have spent nearly $2,000 on the same issue, with them having to come out every 1-120 days for the same issue. They won't warranty most of their work for various reasons and I have had to have them come out for the same issue as recent as the next day and been charged another $283 after paying them over $600 one day prior. Where they hook you or at least me was their family plan. The straw that broke the camel's back was most recently they came out, for the same issue, backed up drain line and they proposed demoing sheetrock within our house and charging over $2,000. The guy even said he had never done this and would need to call to ask someone what to do. Further, they told me I would need to have to have the wall fixed which would be an additional $2500. I finally listened to my gut and called two other plumbing companies, both of which affirmed Baker was only addressing the problem enough so that it would keep happening without actually taking care of the problem. I was bound to have to keep calling them and paying them. I was completely taken advantage financially and emotionally not being a plumber and not understanding the problem, I was relying on them and trusting them as most women do. Please do not use them. I also agree the pricing was always inconsistent and as of late became egregious.

My experience with Baker Brothers AC reinforced what my dad taught me; always get a second opinion. My AC stopped working and Baker Brothers sent out a technician to assess the issue the same day I called. For this, they get the one star. The tech told me he replaced the capacitor, even using two different types, and that the capacitor was NOT the issue. He said the compressor was bad and the unit would need to be replaced due to the bad compressor and the age of the unit. He also informed me of the monthly membership I could purchase. A Baker Brothers estimator arrived shortly after and quoted me $15k for the low end replacement and $33k for the high end. It just so happens that my next door neighbor had another HVAC company installing a new unit on the same day and I had them scheduled to look at my unit later that afternoon. I told the BB estimator I was getting a second estimate from the other company and he offered me a 5 percent discount if I contracted with him right then and there, before he left my house. He also had negative things to say about the other company. The owner from the other company, a local family-owned business, arrived shortly after to look at the unit. He replaced the capacitor and that FIXED the issue! There was nothing wrong with the compressor. It seems like this was a pretty standard fix so I’m not sure if the Baker Brothers technician was unqualified or if there may be an incentive to sell replacement products rather than fix the issue. My intuition tells me it was the later. As a side note, I was fully prepared to install a new unit if needed as my unit is probably around 15 years old. When that day comes, I’ll be calling the honest family-owned business out of Wylie and not Baker Brothers.

A little pricey, but quality service.

Our AC went out and we initially reached out to Reliant, as their information is on the unit. Their service tech charged us $100. He was in and out pretty quickly. We were told it was the evaporative coil and the repair was $1400, including the part being under warranty. I reached out to a family friend, David Wilson, and he was able to get a tech to our house in less then 2 hours. Miguel, our tech, was there for hours. And determined that it wasnt the evaporative coil but instead the meter. They cane out without a charge and gave us a free second opinion. Im sure glad we did. They had the repair done the following day. Miguel was awesome and explained it in detail. Outstanding service! Highly recommend!

LIARS who take your money! Went to my parents’ house (who are seniors!) on 02/28/24 to fix a clogged/slow kitchen sink. They snaked it and VERBALLY told my parents they should be good for A YEAR and charged them about $250. LAST WEEK (just over 7 days) my parents called because the sink is making noises again and draining slowly. Bakers Brother said OUT OF WARRANTY and would NOT back up their work. Then offered to “credit” 50% of the previous not-even-real-repair and then charge my parents a NEW trip charge and for NEW WORK (I assume with same days long, basically worthless warranty). DO NOT USE THESE PEOPPE AND DO NOT TRUST THESE CROOKS WHO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OTHERS. SHAME on them!

Alex and Poe, who are plumbers for this amazing company, went beyond what one would expect from a company. They spent 2.5 days helping us solve our leak issue, which was not only severe, but a problem in many ways. They worked hard till the problem was solved. Between the hard work, dedication, and fair pricing, we can add this experience to the many reasons why we love this company. These technicians are very knowledgeable and hardworking. WARNING! WARNING!! WARNING!!! BE WARNED..... An absolute utter remorse hiring this company. First, an agent will assertively set up an appointment to get into your home as soon as possible. (#1 warning sign!) Second, the technician arrives unprepared with almost NO knowledge about the task, even though images and details has been forwarded to the company to be shared with the technician prior to the appointment day. (#2 warning sign!) Finally, the technician, without examining the problem area adequately or at all, simply gives you absurd quotes when he doesn't even know the exact repair that is required. (#3 warning sign) So, I paid this TECHNICIAN from BAKER'S BROTHERS to show up and say hello and goodbye. Three (3) warning signs that spells to me a conning, deceiving and a rotten business practice. We’ve paid to be in their Family Plan for 3 years to be sure we’d get quick response in an emergency. Never needed it until this morning, when we woke to find the furnace for our master suite had died. Called them @ 8am, 9:30 and 3:15; it’s now 9:30 pm and still radio silence. Had to cancel all Christmas plans to wait for a service call that never happened.

They were professional. They were good.

They will destroy your trees when doing repairs. This tree died in 45 days from the repair. They made zero effort to resolve complaint outside of referencing the zero liability for this type of damage in their disclosure. Baker Bros states they are the “Family” plumber, I would never treat family that way. Buyer beware!

Didn't tried calling a number of times, but as soon as the phone was answere, whoever was picking up, would immediately hang up. I heard some talking at one point and said hello, and they again hung up. I guess these guys are too busy to shedule appointments. I have used them in the past and liked them. But do nneed to be able to ge ahold of someone when calling.

They are excellent, they have good communication and did a good job.

They were very good, professional, courteous . They did pretty good service. they got the job done correctly.

Initially, we planned to replace 3 faucets in our bathroom. They all are working great, just wear and tear signs on the cosmetic look. All faucets (current and replacement) are the same Delta model. We furnished our parts. Baker Brothers charged $771 for 3 installations. Because cost is high. We decided to replace only one faucet, and Baker Brothers charged $227 for the installation. Half way done, the technician told us that he has to run new plumbing lines, and additional cost is $281. Bait and Switch tactics. Now, final cost is over $518 for only one faucet installation. We have had Baker Brothers' services for the last few years. Mostly were drain clogs in the kitchen and bathroom. This service call described above caught us off guard.

This company incorrectly diagnosed and installed my entire AC unit and charged me ~10,000. That is when the issues began. I hired an independent AC company and they determined Baker Brothers incorrectly installed my unit. Baker Brothers admitted fault but only reimbursed me ~10%. We lived in our house during the hottest weeks of the summer and paid for a unit we never needed. These people are incompetent, unprofessional and unethical.
