Description of Work: Mel came in to stretch several areas of carpet that had not been installed properly by the original company. It was very tedious, time consuming labor, but I was very happy with the end result. I also had four areas of carpet cleaned and it came out great.

Description of Work: Oh my! Mel and Marco, you are amazing! I have builders' grade off white carpet that is over 12 years old. You can imagine how that must have looked after 2 boys and dogs. It looks almost new now! They even got out the hot pink fingernail polish splatters I spilled 6 months ago. I will recommend them to everyone and definitely will use them again. For the amount they charge, I may have them come out a few times a year!! Thank you guys!

Description of Work: This was the first time we used Mel and Marco Cleaning Services, and it will be the only cleaning service we use in the future.They did an excellent job and went the extra mile to remove difficult stains. Description of Work: Mel and Marco responded to my email the same day it was sent. I was looking for housecleaning and carpet cleaning. Unfortunately they responded they were too busy to do the housecleaning, which is what I really wanted them to do. I will try them again some other time, hopefully they won't be so busy next time.

Description of Work: Great team. They came out and cleaned our carpets and two sofa's and two chair's. They cleaned our home and got it ready after the remodel. They cleaned all windows. I highly recommend them if you have a remodel you just finished that needs to be cleaned.

Description of Work: They came for an estimate. Gave the usual song and dance of $250 for the first deep cleaning and $120 for bi-weekly service thereafter. The house was clean at the time and the need for a deep clean was not present and even Marco commented on how clean the house was? They didn't want to negotiate so we did not use their services.

+ -1 moreCalled Mel & Marco because I wasn't totally happy with the thoroughness of previous cleaners. I reached Mel on Friday and made arrangements for her to come by for an estimate the next day at 3pm. I didn't hear from her until nearly 6pm, which was too late for me that day. I decided to give her one more chance to make the appointment, and I'm glad I did. She arrived promptly at 8:30am Monday and took only about 20 minutes to do the estimate. We made the appointment for the house cleaning on Friday. Mel and Marco got here just after 9am and got to work. By the time they finished about 1pm, the house shone. They cleaned everything, including taking books and photos down to dust the shelves, then putting it all back where it began. They brought all their own cleansers, mops etc. The only thing they needed from me was a roll of paper towels, and they used our vacuum. I'm very happy with the job they did, and plan to have them back monthly.
Description of Work: Thorough house cleaning including baseboards, blinds and floors. After several months with two kids under 5 running around, it needed it.

I explained what I wanted. they quuoted a price that was acceptable and they went out of their way to perform the service within a compressed timeline. They asked me if we would likely use them on a regulr scheduled basis to clean our home and I replied we would not likely do so, because we don't contract for that .. It is just my wife and I and cleaning is not a problem. I would use again without hesitation. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: I asked that the house be cleaned on every square inch - LITERALLY-- did a great We rushed them due to our moving schedule and they made adjustments and even worked late the night of the big storm to complete on time.

+ -1 moreMel and Marco are a delightful couple whom we have hired to clean our home on a bi-weekly basis. They have been extremely responsive to our needs and we are pleased with their level of service. They are flexible in both schedule and work requests. For an additional fee of $15 per room they shampooed my carpets and they look wonderful. If you are looking for a one time cleaning or a regular housekeeper, this couple is for you. They love animals and are wonderful with them as well. I trust them completely to be in my home without supervision.
Description of Work: They clean all rooms in my house bi-weekly. I have a cat who leaves a lot of hair around and it is always cleaned up. Cleaning includes dusting, vacuuming, cleaning blinds, ceiling fans, mirrors, bathrooms, furniture, kitchen counters, appliances, etc. Basically, everything you would do in a spring cleaning. Each time they come they spend a little more time is several rooms to get the wood work, door knobs, blinds, etc. They do a great job.

+ -1 moreThey have performed well for over three years. They come once a week in the afternoon while I am at work and when I come home, my space is fresh and clean. They even wash out the garage and walk the dogs. The bathrooms are spotless when they finish as is the kitchen. I highly recommend their service.
Description of Work: For three years this delightful South American couple has cleaned my 2400 square foot, three bedroom, two bath home. They always come when I expect them and do an excellent job cleaning the bathrooms, kitchen and the rest of the house. When needed they will clean baseboards, the refrigerator, fold clothes, change the beds and do light dusting and vacumning. They are usually in my home for about three hours but both of them work very hard when they come, so really you are getting 6 hours of work. I always leave them a note if something special needs attention and they pay attention to what I ask. They also have a carpet cleaning service and will clean the carpet in my entire unit for $60.00. Before they began to work with me, they worked for my sister and mother and both of them love Mel and Marco! I have every confidence in their work and honesty and would highly recommend them.
