Within the 90-day warrantee period, washer again failed. I called Appliance Techs of Austin (ATA) and received a run-around. Bottom line he did not want to come out for the warrantee work (we live about 10 miles from Leander). He said I had to call my home warrantee service who contracted with him for the original repair and warrantee. I contacted the warrantee repair service and was given a new work order number that was to be transmitted to ATA, and I was to call ATA to schedule a repair time. I called and left numerous messages over a period of days and it is now two weeks after with no results. Bottom line, the owner is surly, uncooperative and not to be trusted to follow up on his warrantee. I would not touch him again with a ten-foot pole.
Description of Work: Original repair done August 7 with 90-day warrantee. Repair person not very communicative. Did not really do anything but got our dishwasheer running again. Said if the same thing happens again a new motor would be needed.

The guy had to pull out the dishwasher in order to replace the heating element. He didn't seem very happy about it and did it begrudgingly. A few weeks later, we noticed the water coming through the hardwood floors right by the kitchen. The guy who reinstalled the dishwasher did not tighten the water line enough, so we had a slow leak that caused damage to the cabinets and the wood flooring. Of course Old Republic wouldn't do anything because they waive any third party damaged and Appliance Tech's had is sign a similar waiver. Matt from Home Source fixed everything, but he said they should have put a piece of paper towel under the dishwasher to make sure there wasn't any leaks. Very smart idea....wish I had thought of it. Also, he said they should havereplaced the copper pipe with a flexible plastic one that was up to code. I would not recommend this copany and their sloppy work.
Description of Work: We had recently moved into our home and the heating element in our dishwasher went out. I called Old Republic Home Warranty and they sent out Appliance Tech's of Austin.
