I had a badly clogged toilet so I couldn’t use the shower or the sinks. I called Leak Geeks Plumbing and had an appointment set up with them. They could even come earlier than my appointment time, which was great. He was friendly and professional when I opened the front door for Jakob until he got the drain unclogged. He gave me the quote up front, along with the diagnosis, and he did everything he said he would, and the bathroom is all back to normal. Leak Geeks Plumbing is excellent, and I call no one else when I need a plumber.

We had a clogged kitchen sink which I tried to resolve myself with every home remedy from plunger, chemicals solutions, and a manual rotor rooter. Well, after two hours of failure I decided to call in a professional. My first call from memory was to contact Rotor Rooter since I knew the problem was originating in the sewer line. They should up with a two man team and provided an outrageous quote. I quickly, but politely declined their services. I became concerned with any other quotes from local plumbers because my family and I haven't worked in a month due to the COVID-19 pandemic so our budget limiteds for home repairs. My next call was to Leak Geek Plumbing in Keller, TX. A sweet lady name Christy took my call and was very polite with setting up the appointment. After explaining my plumbing issues, she connected me to the owner (Tony). We discussed some potential remedies and cost, and he understood how the nation was being impacted with a lot businesses being shutdown due to pandemic. He offer his team's services and provided a quote that was more than reasonable. He sent out a serviceman named Brad who resembled the same type of professional courtesy. Brad was very diligent and thorough with his service recommendation. In addition, I was relieved to see that the company provided their staff with all of the necessary PPE equipment to keep every safe from the virus. They have gained a customer for life regarding any plumbing services in the future. A "BIG" thank you from the Bolin Family!

They're prompt and on time. Prices are a bit prices but you get the best prices with an annual contract. The initial diagnoses was incorrect leading to my drywall repaired but eventually the problem resolved.

Called them to come fix a plugged up kitchen sink. They came out very promptly, and set a big book, the size of the new york phone book, on the sink, and showed me the price in the book. $250 as best I can remember. When I balked, we negotiated a lower rate. I don't know if thats a sales tactic or what. Never had another plumber show me their book price. Anyway, they quickly performed the service and got the sink back in working condition. I would use them again, knowing we're gonna have to do some negotiating. Took 30 minutes total. Good job guys!

They arrived on time, conscientious about minimizing damage to walls, cabinets and flooring, got right to work.  Thoroughly explained what they were going to do, got it done on schedule, and cleaned up. Very neat, nice and professional.

Over several weeks the water flow from my kitchen faucet had become slower and slower.  I took off the supply lines and found small pieces of black plastic so I figured a valve gasket was coming apart.  Any time I have tried to do a plumbing repair myself it has become an unpleasant event.  I had used Leek Geeks one time a couple years ago with good results so I decided to call them for this repair.  Carol, in the office, handled my call and said all the techs had already been dispatched but she would send someone my way as soon as she could.  She was very personable and obviously interested in helping me with of my problem.  Soon after, she called to say ?Steve? was finishing up another call and would then be headed my way.  Steve arrived within a short time and came to the door looking very neat and clean.  (One would never know he had already handled a previous repair.)  Also, he came to my door with his tools ? he was not going to waste time running out to his truck.  He immediately got to work and was finished much quicker than I anticipated.  He had replaced both supply line valves (angle stops) and also cleaned out all the debris he could find in my faucet.  In no way did Steve fit the image of the prototypical plumber we see on TV and in cartoons.  I was very impressed with him and with the service of Leak Geeks.  I will definitely use them for any future plumbing needs I may have.

We recently used Leak Geeks Plumbing for a plumbing problem with clogged toilets and showers. Steve, the plumber who arrived to do the work, was friendly and knowledgeable. He took time to listen to our concerns and made us feel confident we chose the right company. We also felt comfortable having him in my home as well (which isn't always the case with repairmen). Best of all, the price of the service was very fair. I would gladly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing repair.

We had been told by another plumbing company that the only way to fix the hot water faucet on a bathtub was to remove a tile surround on front of tub. Instead I read the reviews on Angie's List and selected Leak Geek. The quality of the work done was well worth the price. It was also much less than removing tile. I will use Leak Geek again because of their knowledge and the quality of their work.

There was an unforecasted hard freeze in the DFW area and my wife and I were out of town on a 2 week trip overseas. Once we saw that the weather back home had turned horrid, we phoned the city and they were kind enough to shut off the water. But the water already in the pipes froze at some point and caused an and quot;Land quot; shaped copper pipe joint in the ceiling to fail. We could not turn the water back on until we fixed the broken pipe. Of course, there were thousands of others across the Metroplex having similar problems. I checked Angies List and found Leak Geaks. They were able to get someone to my house the next day. He quickly isolated the problem and quoted a staggering $950 to fix what he told me would take 30 minutes and minimal parts to fix. I was outraged on the inside at what seemed to me to be gouging but I approved the repair because we really didn't have much choice. In the end, the insurance company paid it, which I suspect that tradesmen know when they are doing and quot;disasterand quot; repairs like this. But outrageous pricing for such repairs is one reason why insurance costs go up, up and up. To the extent that we homeowners sit still for this, then we deserve the higher premiums that inevitably result.
He finished the work and was there a total of 90 minutes. He was professional in demeanor, polite, cleaned up any mess that we could see and stayed focused on his work.
The negative components of my rating have totally to do with the price charged. Had their pricing made sense (e.g. reasonable rate for the time spent), they would be our regular plumbers because their work was good. But I believe they engaged in price gouging so I won't use these guys again. We've since used Angie's List to find another good local regular plumber.
Response from LEAK GEEKS PLUMBING
"[member name removed], We looked up your invoice that was done on February 7, 2011 not 2013. You had a freeze break that we diagnosed and fixed, when we were done we discovered you had ANOTHER freeze break and fixed it at a discounted rate. Our business is to help our customers fix their plumbing problems. At the same time we provide a service. We wear shoe booties, we clean up our mess when we leave, we wear uniforms, insured, Licensed Plumbers, and have clean trucks. Since you are an Angie's List member I would gather that those things are important to you and a priority. We are not Bubba's plumbing! You gave us a poor rating on professionalism but in your own words said "he was professional in demeanor, polite, cleaned up any mess that we could see and stayed focused on his work". If that was not worthy of an "A" I would like to know what else we could have done? Our pricing is based on our costs of doing business. If you were not satisfied with the quote you have the opportunity to deny service before we start and get other estimates. One thing is for sure that profit gouging is not our business. We make a fair wage and only hire professional plumbers who care about what they do and our customer. Sincerely, Tony & Christie Herman Owners"

They came out as soon as we called them and turned our water back on. They went over our water system and reviewed it for us at a minimum rate of $60. They did it all in one day. They were clean and did a good job. We have been very pleased both times we've used them.

On June 4 we discovered that our hot water pressure was low. We tried flushing the tank, but that didn't help, so we called Leak Geeks and got an appointment for the next morning between 10 and 12 am. Michael arrived a little after 10 and spent quite a while with us talking about our hot water problems. In his opinion, our 8 year old water heater was having ball float problems in the inlet or outlet due to scale or corrosion. We discussed possible solutions, including the pros and cons of tank vs. tankless water heaters.
We decided on a new tank, which he promptly installed since he had one in his truck (which is large and contains lots of parts). Installation took about 1.5 hours. We signed up for the monthly service contract ($12.95 / month) in order to save 10% (which more than covered the price of the service contract). We now have lots of hot water and are very happy with the service and the result. Not only would I use this company again, I would also recommend them to others.

I called Leak Geeks as I had a broken faucet handle. They came out and advised me that they could still order the parts for the hardware I had and rebuild the handles. I authorized the order. They called me on a Wednesday when the parts came in and I scheduled the work for the following Monday as my girls were home from college for Spring Break. On Thursday, my oldest daughter called me and said she had noticed water running down the outside of the hot water heater in the garage. She said the catch tray below the unit was catching the water so far. I was in Denton looking at apartments with another daughter. I told Sophie (my oldest daughter) to call Leak Geeks and explain the situation. They came right out, inspected the unit (10 years old), turned off the water from the hot water heater and called me to say it needed to be replaced. As long as they were there, they fixed the bathroom faucet. He did not have a large enough replacement unit on his truck, as I have a 75 gallon water heater (with 3 daughters, we can still run out of hot water). They ordered the unit and said it would be in on Monday. We would be without hot water for the weekend (again with 3 daughters, that takes on a whole new meaning). Saturday morning they called and said the unit was in and they would be right over. They replaced the unit, added a larger drip tray, insulation on the pipes to the unit. Having had hot water heaters flood other homes, they were lifesavers!!!

I called Leak Geeks to locate a leak in my front yard. They were in the area and were able to come over right away. We were led to believe it was a big task when the service technician gave us an estimate of $592. We agreed to the price because we felt we were between a rock and a hard spot - it was Friday and we didn't want the leak to continue through the weekend. It took him 1.5 hours to dig up the small area, find the leak in my 3/4and quot; PVC water main and fix it and 30 minutes to wait for the area to dry up. (He ate lunch in his truck during this wait time.) He still charged the $592 plus a $29 and quot;Service Call Chargeand quot; for a total of $621 - that's like $300 per hour, including his lunch break. Oh, he had to use some PVC glue to glue the open joint, but no other pipe materials were needed to repair the leak.
I called the home office to complain but I got no relief. I was told by Darrell, and quot; That's what we charge everybody.and quot; I will never use Leak Geeks again nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

They charged us as they found the leak and once they found it they would charge us to repair it. I found someone who was cheaper. I got a quote for $500 and we got it fixed from someone for $150. I disliked the price they were going to charge me. They seemed to be nice people. There was this young guy and he looked at the book and went by what the book said and that's how he determined the price. I think the guy was new and didn't seem to be extremely knowledgeable. They were nice but they were overpriced. They were here on time. They were professional.

It went well. I had had several past experiences with clogs in the same drain.I released those clogs with soda and vinegar or boiling water. This time my home remedies did not work. I took several of the pipes under the sink apart, but couldn't find the clog. When I tried to put the pipes back, two of them would not stay screwed together. Leak Geeks came when they said they would and tried a couple of methods to release the clog. Thankfully, the second method worked (after several attempts). The plumber (Michael) was very professional, answering my questions and coming back when scheduled due to a very minor problem. I plan to call them again if I have any plumbing problems.
