Prior to summer, we decided to replace our (still working) A/C and heating systems (22 years old). Ideal Air had been the company we used for regular maintenance for most of those 22 years, so we felt they deserved a chance for this job. We got a bid from them and decided not to research any other contractors. We purchased 4 ton and 3 ton Trane variable speed systems and Aprilaire whole house filters. Units also required a swap out of thermostats (which had been discussed at purchase time). They can be accessed via touch screen and/or app, if configured. Install date was set for a couple of weeks out from the date of the in-home consultation and purchase. Workers arrived at time promised, and completed job in a little less than 2 days, which is what they allotted themselves. The weather/temperature was such that we didn't require the use of either unit, so that allowed them to work on one unit at a time, after removing BOTH units first. Workers were professional and courteous. The only issue we had with Ideal Air was trying to get adequate documentation after the job was completed. It took almost 3 months to get registration and warranty papers, and SEER rating sheets, as the SEER rating changed (for the better) from the standard sticker that was on the outside A/C unit, when the A/C unit was coupled with the "matched" equipment that went into the attic. The units are awesome (but NOT cheap). Our electric usage hasn't been over 700kWh so far for the 3 months they have been in use, and we have had the thermostat set lower than we did previously. Ideal Air did an excellent job. Hopefully, the issue of getting all the paperwork afterwards was an aberration and not the norm.

We asked Ideal to evaluate our very elderly, existing air conditioner units and give us a bid to replace them. Eric represented them, was punctual and very professional. He gave us a written estimate and answered all our questions. We did our price comparisons and decided Ideal had offered the best deal. They arrived punctually on the day we scheduled the installation, did a good job installing the new units, made some adjustments to make our system run more efficiently, installed new thermostats, and took care of a couple of minor things we had asked them to deal with while they were here. They charged exactly what they quoted, cleaned up after they finished, and were both polite and professional throughout the process.

Derrick was on time (within the window given) and very professional. When he did the check he discovered my system was low on refrigerant and detailed the cost of replacing it before he did the work. The he checked for the cause of the leak (the coil) and explained my options. While he was unable to replace the coil on the same day, that is a part that needs to be ordered, he had the part ordered and scheduled the day and time to replace it. I will call this company again.

Excellent ! Danny is an expert.. he quickly explained the reason for this difference and while at it, answered many other questions and helped me change out an air-filter. I was so impressed with him, and the company he represents that I signed up for an annual maintenance contract. Ideal Air was also very flexible with the appointment, I had to reschedule it two times and they accommodated me graciously. Also, I put an 'N/A/ in the 'Price' section because they did not change me anything!

Was impressed at how thorough the original inspection was and the quality of the job was great.

Well, I think. I have a tenant in the house. The service person showed up on time and did the work, but I never got feedback and still don't have an invoice.

Timely, informative and very professional. We have been using Ideal Air for the past few years and have always received excellent service and advise for our whole house system and a min-split we had installed in a room addition.

I've been working with them for about 8 years. They programed the thermostat and we didn't have any experience with it so that was very helpful.

Eric arrived promptly at 9:00 he called prior to arriving giving me  30 minutes notice. He was very polite and professional took his time cleaning and checking the system. Gave me an all is well report. Recommended a couple of small things. No pressure what so ever (appreciate that) I would not hesitate to hire them again for any furnace/air conditioning needs.

They did an excellent job for us. It's actually paying for itself. It's a very efficient air conditioning unit. We're seeing about $45 reduction on our electric bill. The replacement for the filters is $65. That's a good deal. They did excellent work. We were very pleased with them. I've used them for precheck of the air conditioner for the summer and to check the furnace. We use them for everything. They are really good.
