Mike Thomas quickly assessed the situation and within minutes was fixing the problem. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He fixed the clogged sink and checked all adjoining lines as well as my washing machine to make sure everything was working and no longer clogged . He advised us of future care of our pipes and additional services his company offers. I am so completely impressed with this young man and his company! I will ONLY call Capital Care in the future, and I will always ask if Mike Thomas is available.
Description of Work: Emergency sink clog causing washing machine to back up and over flow ! I called 2 other companies from referrals of neighbors and I got answering machine on both! I called Capital Care Plumbing and a "live" person answered and very promptly took my info and issue and said a tech would get back to me asap. Within 15 minutes Mike Thomas called and gave me the window of time that he would arrive. Closer to the window time Mike Thomas called once again to state he was on his way about 15 min. and he was ON TIME !

It didn't,,, this company lacks proper communication skills.
Description of Work: Lacks GOOD BUSINESS practices. I called ( 1:30pm) and explained we had a busted pipe in the attic. Asked twice was their any tech available to come out today,1-6-16. The rep said YES both times. She proceeds to tell me that the tech will call with his ETA. GREAT, so I thought! Around 3:30pm still no tech. I called and was told, " ohhhh, yea, hhmmmm the tech said we are over booked.. we'll be out MONDAY!" TODAY IS SATURDAY..we have no running water! Two hours of my time wasted..two hours I could have called around somewhere else. VERY BAD BUSINESS ETHICS... UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD. MY EXPERIENCE MAKES ME WONDER ABOUT THE VALIDITY OF THE OTHER REVIEWS.

Excellent work! Professional, considerate, competent. Stayed with the job until it was completed correctly and to my satisfaction. The cost was what he quoted me. James, the owner, and a helper came in drilled through the concrete to move the toilet about 18 inches. They moved the waste pipes and fill water pipe, then filled in the hole. They made sure it was were I wanted it before they moved to the next job. James and his helper then started to set the tub. They moved any pipes that needed to be to set the tub, and set it. The tub was a soaking cast iron tub and was heavy. They made sure it was where I wanted it and continued to do the rough in for the plumbing for the shower/tub. Before they completed the rough in for the tub/shower plumbing they protected the tub with a canvas drop cloth. After they put had set the tub where and how I wanted it (they had to use some treated wood to level the tub) they calked the area around the bottom of the tub and leveled the floor around the tub and where the toilet would go. Next James and his helper worked on the sink. There were two sinks in the area and I wanted one. They took out all the extra pipes and did the plumbing for the sink. They checked with me to be sure it was where I wanted it. After the drywall, tile and paint were completed James and his helper came back to set the toilet, sink cabinet and sink and put the finish on the fixtures. James and his helper kept working until the job was completely and beautifully done. There were a couple of problems that James had to solve and took some time to do so. He told me the problems and continued to work on it until it was solved. One problem was the drain for the tub was a problem and he made a tiny mark on it, which I could barely see. He called the manufactuor to have a replacement sent out and was here to replace it. The other problem was setting the sink. I had a clear glass pedistal sink going on a dark wood cabinet. The difficulty was with how to calk the opening in the cabinet where the sink pipes go through. What ever was used would show at the bottom of the sink. He tried several things, all of them left and ugly uneven ring that could be seen at the bottom of the sink. James finally figured out a solution and it is beautiful! I can not praise James enough for the job he did.
Description of Work: Moved the toilet, put in a bathtub & shower, set sink cabinet and sink, and put in all the fixtures.

I was very impressed with David and the gentleman who helped him. Erica took my call and was friendly, professional, and helpful. My hot water heater was spewing water and they arrived within an hour. Erica kept me up to date by phone. David was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He explained my options clearly and without trying to pressure me into any one option. Once I made my decision, David went to work and completed everything to my satisfaction. I was extremely pleased with everything about this company from my first contact by phone through the finished service. I give them my highest recommendation.

Being a recent widow, I joined Angie's list to keep from being taken advantage of. The owner of this company was amazing. We had the utility company come to our door at 8 pm at night telling us that our sewer line was backed up and needed to be addressed immediately. Not only did the owner come that night, but communicated with me every step of the way. It was a little more complicated than just clearing the line due to the location of the sewer. He was very professional, honest and caring. I would totally trust him to come back and work on our plumbing again.

Extremely well. They were thorough, specific, and honest. They did the work and invited me to inspect it along the way. They wanted me to be well educated on what they were doing. They gave me great confidence in them and their workmanship.
Description of Work: I had a water pipe burst in my slab. They came up with a solution to re-route the outside waterline without any structural work required to my home. I also needed a new water heater so I had them install a new one at the same time.

I have used Capital Care for various reasons over the years that I have owned my house. The first time I called them out was in 2005. They are responsive and professional. My last call was to repair my shower faucet which had started leaking. It had just been a drip, but when I got home from work yesterday it was running not just dripping. I called them and they had a plumber come out within an hour to fix it. Great service always and quality work.

Responsiveness and replacement was good and Matt did a great job - was really responsive and very professional. While you're kind of captive when your water heater begins to leak through the ceiling - I can't shake the feeling that I was overcharged. Remove old tank from attic (which is not easy), replace with new Rheem 50-gallon tank.

We had used this service once before when one of our hot water heaters had a valve break in the middle of the night and was pouring water in our attic. They were the ONLY provider of 5 we called out that actually showed up and completed the repair. We called them back for some maintenance and could not be more pleased. Willie was prompt and thorough. He kept my home clean and went out of his way to be sure we were informed and satisfied with the job. We would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: replaced shut off valve for hot water heater, unclogged sink which required some repair of incorrect plumbing, removed a dated reverse osmosis system which also solved a drip problem with my sink and swapped out a hot water dispenser for a soap pump.

I called for an estimate to replace two aging water heaters before it became an emergency. A little research confirmed the estimate provided was fair. Because I had used Capital Care for a minor repair in the past, I was comfortable selecting them to replace the water heaters. They showed up as scheduled to performed the work. The crew was efficient and professional. I won't hesitate to call Capital Care the next time I need a plumber.

.We had a faucet that leaked and CCP fixed it expediently and well. Then a few weeks later another faucet went bad and the water was leaking into a closet. The same technician came right away and was very patient in fixing it, Because of that we did not have to have the tiles or the wall behind it opened up. I was very pleased

My husband tried for over 2 hours to clear the clog himself without success. We contacted Capital Care Plumbing and left a message. We were contacted within 30 minutes and after my husband explained what was going one, we received a quote of $220, of which $89 was the service call, because it was the weekend. (one company quoted $150 for the service call) James called us just prior to coming to the house (about 45 minutes later) and had to go through both the sink drains and the drain in the attic to completely clear.
Description of Work: The AC condensation drains needed to cleaned out as the fluid was backing up into our upstairs bathroom sinks. James, our technician had to clean out the drain in the attic along with the sink drains. James even gave us suggestions on how to prevent this in the future. He also notice some poor work done on a waterheater installation and while it is safe, did recommend we have it corrected.

Capital Care Plumbing did a great job. They came to my home the same day I called and on time. They gave me a FREE estimate to change my W/H. On the day of installation, James and his crew were very professional. They protected my hard wood floors and cleaned and removed the mess from the old W/H. They also replaced the gas line and fittings. A few days later we had a leaking toilet in a rental property. Capital Care gave us the same great customer service as the did on the W/H. .

I came home to find water leaking from my two story ceiling in our living room. In a panic I called Capital Care Plumbing and they reassured me that they would be there promptly to contain the leak. In under 10 minutes I had a plumber in my attic to fix the situation. Prior to arriving the company called me back to reassure me that help was on the way. They took the time to explain in detail the extent of the damage & provided us an estimate of the cost to replace our water heaters. The offered referrals to help with restoration. We had new water heaters installed the next day with the same excellent service. They took the time to protect our flooring & kept us updated as to the status of where they were in the project. It was a pleasure to work with such professionals that put the customer first.

The company spent a lot of time working with the manufacturer to make sure they covered the warranty work. They did not have to spend their valuable time working with the manufacturer, but they had the knowledge that was needed to make sure that the majority of the cost was picked up by the manufacturer. I was pleasantly shocked when they gave me the bill. The charge for their time was very reasonable. I would use them again and I hope others do too. I've used other plumbing companies and felt that I was robbed when they left. Capital Care Plumbing seems to have pride in their work and a conscience when they charge the customer.
