Mike Thomas quickly assessed the situation and within minutes was fixing the problem. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He fixed the clogged sink and checked all adjoining lines as well as my washing machine to make sure everything was working and no longer clogged . He advised us of future care of our pipes and additional services his company offers. I am so completely impressed with this young man and his company! I will ONLY call Capital Care in the future, and I will always ask if Mike Thomas is available.

My home Water heater stopped working. I called Capital Care plumbing just before noon and they came in an hour and fixed the problem by replacing the thermostat and pilot assembly. I was explained the whole work they did and work went smoothly without any problem. technician sounds very knowledgeable.

I will definitely use them in future and also recommend them to my friend.

Daniel explained that by using a flashlight to transilluminate the pipes (which are translucent apparently) that are under the sink, you can tell what pipes are clogged and where.  I didn't know that before... first thing I learned today.
So he used the plunger.  We've been told by several plumbing companies that using a plunger on the disposal side shouldn't be done.   So Daniel said "Hmmmm... really?"then went plunge, plunge, plunge and the clog was gone.... gentle plunging is okay. Can't argue with that results.  A little embarrassing that we called someone out for that but the plunging thing was the second thing learned today
ALso, he and his co-plumber came out on the 4th of July without batting an eye and at the same rate for the service call (as far as I can tell) as any other time
The third thing that I learned today was that I have a plumbing company that I can count on from this point forward.

I had a tree service out to grind down a stump on the side of my house, after only a few minutes they hit the main water pipe. I called Capital Care Plumbing and spoke to Erica, she was very friendly and told me that they could be out after 3:00 and would call me if they were able to get there sooner. They ended up arriving right around 4:00 and had let me known in advance they were on their way. David arrived looked at what the repair was going to involve. He then told me $350.00 which at first I was a bit shocked, but in all fairness I haven't had to hire a plumber in quite a few years so I guess it's in line to what it cost today. Anyway, he was very friendly and professional. they did a great job, and I was extremely happy I got someone out the same day. If I ever need to hire a plumbing company again I won't hesitate to use them.

Excellent work! Professional, considerate, competent. Stayed with the job until it was completed correctly and to my satisfaction. The cost was what he quoted me.

James, the owner, and a helper came in drilled through the concrete to move the toilet about 18 inches. They moved the waste pipes and fill water pipe, then filled in the hole. They made sure it was were I wanted it before they moved to the next job.
James and his helper then started to set the tub. They moved any pipes that needed to be to set the tub, and set it. The tub was a soaking cast iron tub and was heavy. They made sure it was where I wanted it and continued to do the rough in for the plumbing for the shower/tub. Before they completed the rough in for the tub/shower plumbing they protected the tub with a canvas drop cloth. After they put had set the tub where and how I wanted it (they had to use some treated wood to level the tub) they calked the area around the bottom of the tub and leveled the floor around the tub and where the toilet would go.
Next James and his helper worked on the sink. There were two sinks in the area and I wanted one. They took out all the extra pipes and did the plumbing for the sink. They checked with me to be sure it was where I wanted it.
After the drywall, tile and paint were completed James and his helper came back to set the toilet, sink cabinet and sink and put the finish on the fixtures. James and his helper kept working until the job was completely and beautifully done.
There were a couple of problems that James had to solve and took some time to do so. He told me the problems and continued to work on it until it was solved. One problem was the drain for the tub was a problem and he made a tiny mark on it, which I could barely see. He called the manufactuor to have a replacement sent out and was here to replace it.
The other problem was setting the sink. I had a clear glass pedistal sink going on a dark wood cabinet. The difficulty was with how to calk the opening in the cabinet where the sink pipes go through. What ever was used would show at the bottom of the sink. He tried several things, all of them left and ugly uneven ring that could be seen at the bottom of the sink. James finally figured out a solution and it is beautiful!
I can not praise James enough for the job he did.

I was very impressed with David and the gentleman who helped him. Erica took my call and was friendly, professional, and helpful. My hot water heater was spewing water and they arrived within an hour. Erica kept me up to date by phone. David was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He explained my options clearly and without trying to pressure me into any one option. Once I made my decision, David went to work and completed everything to my satisfaction. I was extremely pleased with everything about this company from my first contact by phone through the finished service. I give them my highest recommendation.

Being a recent widow, I joined Angie's list to keep from being taken advantage of.  The owner of this company was amazing.   We had the utility company come to our door at 8 pm at night telling us that our sewer line was backed up and needed to be addressed immediately.  Not only did the owner come that night, but communicated with me every step of the way.  It was a little more complicated than just clearing the line due to the location of the sewer.   He was very professional, honest and caring.    I would totally trust him to come back and work on our plumbing again.

Capital Care Plumbing did an amazing job and this was the first time we used this provider. What we thought was a quick fix ended up taking multiple visits because the job ended up being larger than we could have known. They were extremely thorough in both the explanation and the execution of the work. The first plumber that came was Matthew on the first day but then James, the owner, came on the 2nd day along with another plumber named Stephen.
The price is always shocking when you hear it but like I said, the job was larger than we expected so we thought the price was reasonable considering the work that they did. The job actually took three three seperate days/trips so the price truly was a good deal if you can actually say that about plumbing prices.
Whenever we contacted them, they always responded quickly and they were good about calling us to let us know when they were on their way.
As the work was done, James asked us to come and inspect the work being done before things were sealed or closed up. I truly appreciated that he asked us to inspect it instead of the other way around. They were extremely professional through every step and cleaned up after themselves.
We will certainly be using them again if we have any other plumbing needs.

Extremely well.  They were thorough, specific, and honest.  They did the work and invited me to inspect it along the way. They wanted me to be well educated on what they were doing.  They gave me great confidence in them and their workmanship.

I have used Capital Care for various reasons over the years that I have owned my house.  The first time I called them out was in 2005.  They are responsive and professional.  My last call was to repair my shower faucet which had started leaking.  It had just been a drip, but when I got home from work yesterday it was running not just dripping.  I called them and they had a plumber come out within an hour to fix it.  Great service always and quality work.

Responsiveness and replacement was good and Matt did a great job - was really responsive and very professional.

While you're kind of captive when your water heater begins to leak through the ceiling - I can't shake the feeling that I was overcharged.

Remove old tank from attic (which is not easy), replace with new Rheem 50-gallon tank.

We had used this service once before when one of our hot water heaters had a valve break in the middle of the night and was pouring water in our attic.  They were the ONLY provider of 5 we called out that actually showed up and completed the repair.  We called them back for some maintenance and could not be more pleased.  Willie was  prompt and thorough. He kept my home clean and went out of his way to be sure we were informed and satisfied with the job.  We would definitely use them again.

Selling a house and inspector cited me for a sediment trap/drip leg installed on the water heater and master toilet guts to be replaced. Called for a quote on the sediment trap and was quoted $115-135. Plumber arrived on time and gave same quote. I was moving same day so decided to have him replace the flush valve on a toilet as well since i was in a time crunch and no tools on hand; I was quoted $125 for this. He performed the job well and fast but $240 for less than an hours work and less than $40 of parts is outright ridiculous. Professional and courteous but prices are highway robbery.

I called for an estimate to replace two aging water heaters before it became an emergency.  A little research confirmed the estimate provided was fair.  Because I had used Capital Care for a minor repair in the past, I was comfortable selecting them to replace the water heaters.  They showed up as scheduled to performed the work.  The crew was efficient and professional.  I won't hesitate to call Capital Care the next time I need a plumber.

.We had a faucet that leaked and CCP fixed it expediently and well. Then a few weeks later another faucet went bad and the water was leaking into a closet. The same technician came right away and was very patient in fixing it, Because of that  we did not have to have the tiles or the wall behind it opened up. I was very pleased

My husband tried for over 2 hours to clear the clog himself without success.  We contacted Capital Care Plumbing and left a message.  We were contacted within 30 minutes and after my husband explained what was going one, we received a quote of $220, of which $89 was the service call, because it was the weekend. (one company quoted $150 for the service call) James called us just prior to coming to the house (about 45 minutes later) and had to go through both the sink drains and the drain in the attic to completely clear.
