Came over on very short notice. Got the door back on its bar very quickly and was done in 15 minutes or less. I had to ask him to check for leaks since it was leaking after I had bent the door. Never leaked prior to the door being bent and off hinge. He ran a for a minute and said it was not leaking. I ran a short cycle after they left and it was still leaking. I called and he insinuated that maybe it was leaking before I fell over the door. Told me it was probably the seal and that he could come back in a 2 days. I was upset so I let my partner deal with him upon return. He replaced seal and charged another service charge!! My feeling is the seal should have been checked when he was here the first time. I was never given verbal quote or information for any work. So it cost me $235 plus my Angie's list membership to get burned. I should have waited a week for Sears to have someone available. Lesson learned.

"I REMEMBER THIS SITUATION, THE DOOR ON THE D/W WAS COMPLETELY OFF THE HINGE PIN ASSY. I PULLED THE DOOR BACK UP AND PUT IT BACK ON. I TURNED ON THE D/W AND IT DID NOT LEAK AT THAT TIME. THE CUSTOMER CALLED BACK A FEW DAYS LATER COMPLAINING IT WAS LEAKING. I TOLD HER THAT REPAIR WOULD NOT MAKE IT LEAK MAYBE THE GASKET WAS BAD DO TO HER USING THE MACHINE WITH THE DOOR MESSED UP. SHE DIDN'T WANT TO HERE THIS. THE FIRST TIME SHE WAS CHARGED THE MIN. LABOR CHARGE. THE SECOND TIME I GAVE HER A PRICE ON THE GASKET (SPECIAL TRIP TO THE PARTS HOUSE TO PICK UP HER PART ONLY) AND SHE WAS CHARGED ACCORDINGLY. YOU CANT SATISFY ALL CUSTOMERS 100 % OF THE TIME , BUT I DO TRY... I HOPE SHE HAS A GOOD DAY ANYWAY AND I'M SORRY SHE FEELS SHE HAS BEEN WRONGED."

Mr. Peters is a very knowledgable and honest professional who knows his job inside out. He is very happy to give advice on whether your appliance is worth repairing or not. He was very flexible in scheduling the work to fit my needs. He also does air conditioning and heating servicing and I'll be calling on him once the weather warms up.

HE WAS VERY POLITE AND SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING, HE WAS CLEAN AND COURTEOUS. HE DID WORK AROUND A MEDICAL PROBLEM OF HIS AND I WAS HAPPY TO HAVE HIM DO THAT. HE WAS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY A COMPANY I HAD USED IN THE PAST.
