I was pleased with this company; I wish they would have notified me in advance that they do the caulking on the inside instead of the outside. And I use sheers in addition to the blinds, so some of the caulking got on my sheers. Overall I was pleased with the work that was done, If it had any complaints it would be that. 12/4/2013

They did the above with expertise of the professionals they are. They even stopped the leakage in a oair of french doors that I was not sure could be stopped short of replacing doors. I am very satisfied with their job.

I bought the coupon knowing I had problems and was planning on using this company for both attic insulation and radiant barrier. Inspection of attic showed I had an R rating of 7 (it should be 38). Also found problem in the A/C. The provider did recommend I just try to add the insulation and wait to see if I really needed the radiant barrier. He did say that he didn't normally work on the type of a/c unit I had. I was told he would check and see if a possible solution would work and he would get back to me with an estimate for the insulation. I gave him my email address so he could send it to me. After waiting a full week I sent him an email asking if he had the estimate and also sent my email address in case he had misplaced it. It has been over a week from my last message to him and never received an acknowledgement. I would expect a reputable company to at least respond and let me know they would be unable to help me.

I had a good experience with Chuck Hart's Energy Connection. They were really nice and really helpful. They showed us some of the issues in our house and gave us tips on what we can do to fix the issues.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went pretty well. They did some extra things that they said they couldn't do but they did them anyway so that was nice. They had said they only do windows. There were no additional charges.

They were friendly and professional, worked quickly but did not cut corners, and returned anything they moved to its original location. Because my house is being remodeled, they did not conduct the home energy evaluation, very honestly stating that, due to the removed baseboards and upper kitchen cabinetry, the evaluation would yield false positive results. I highly recommend Chuck Hart's and would definitely use them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I had a hard time connecting with him but once he got out, he did a pretty good job. Part of the stuff he was supposed to do was put some additional insulation in the attic and he did not do that. I wasn't here when the work was done but my mother said he didn't do anything in the attic. I felt he left a little bit out I was happy with the weatherstripping. It took 3 or 4 weeks for us to connect. He said he would give me a call and he didn't. He was sick. I don't believe I paid any additional. He did an adequate job. The price was good.

Very professional. Checked for leakage including a vacuum check on the whole house. Great investment. For the first time on cold days my heater keeps up and actually cycles like it should. I will save enough in a few months to cover the expense. Keep up the great work! PS- Was afraid they would try to hard upsell me. They checked the attic and said insulation was good. Offered other ideas for down the road.

I needed to read further. They did not include the weatherization at the bottom of the doors. They did not remove old caulk. They used a clear silicone caulk over the bad or cracked caulk. It is sealed, but looks ugly. The work was performed as quickly as possible. There just was no pride in doing quality work. I got what I paid for. Update 2/12/2014 I noticed A ray of light coming from the lower right corner of my front door last night. When I put my hand over it cold air was rushing inside. The is a large gap in the lower right corner of 2 of my doors. I am going to get some weather-stripping at home depot and resolve this issue myself. This was such a horrible service I am unsure if I should even trust angle's list, if this is an example of one of their "Deals."

The employees were prompt, professional, polite - and quick. They provided all the services I had signed up for, and gave me the evaluation I needed.

Their equipment was not made for tall doors but no such indication on their site so the air tight seal to check for leaks didn't work. Similarly they don't carry weatherstripping in long enough lengths so it was installed in pieces and has a gap--and tends to come 'out' on high traffic doors. They somehow 'lost' the original schedule date and time so I lost a day from work waiting on them to not show. They did reschedule on a Saturday so that was helpful. I don't recall exact date if service--sometime in the fall of 2013.

The guys were super nice and they arrived right on time. They were efficient and thorough. Part of the deal was a discount on attic insulation. After looking in the attic, it was determined that I didn't need any additional insulation. After the audit was completed, I was happy to hear that overall my house is in good shape, energy wise. I really appreciated that the guys were honest and didn't try to sell me any unnecessary products or services. I would highly recommend this company and this deal!

Showed up as scheduled, performed the work in a professional manner and explained to my wife what they were doing.

They arrived during the two-hour window of time, were very professional, provided all the services in the Daily Deal, and explained to me what they were doing and why. They answered all of my questions and gave a few suggestions on what to look out for in the future.

It was good. They inspected windows, ceiling and doors. They did not do as good of job caulking that they should have. I like the company. He was supposed to email me a report and suggestions. I was happy with what he did. I would use them again.

It was misleading as to what the scope of the services was and then needless to say they did the best they could. Then I ended up calling them again because they didn't do even within the limited scope beyond the advertisement. Whatever they did was not complete then I ended up calling the owner and I spoke to him and he was kind enough to come back himself and he fixed a few things for me and then it is a little bit better now. They said there were like five doors and some windows, at the bottom of the doors you need some sort of stoppers to prevent the wind and dust from coming in. I think the advertisement was they would have placed up to five doors and they only did for a couple of them. There was misalignment, misunderstanding, miscoping type issues but I had called them the second time, the owner himself came, he did look at the best he could and it is okay. The level of service they provided in my judgement even with the Big deal didn't rise to the level of the price or the quality of the work they did. They were quite responsive.

The service turned out very good. The service was great, they called, they came when they said they would, they did what they were hired to do, they were very efficient, and they were in and out.

I think they got lots of money from this house because this house is full of glass and windows and this is 6,000 square feet. The person that came said they didn’t have enough supplies. They didn’t know my doors were about 12 feet high. But they came back and did the job efficiently and quick. It was freezing cold and the front door was open for 2 hours so I just turned the heater up. They were very good. They did all the windows and the doors. My doors were lined with copper on the inside. They said they no longer use copper because it’s so expensive so they got to the front door, they replaced it with brass. He said that brass wasn’t as good as copper so he was not gonna pull off the copper for the rest of the doors. He was just gonna fill in where it was not working with brass. He was really nice to me. It made a tremendous difference from the cold weather. You could see through the door and that there’s no air seeping through the doors or the windows. It got much warmer much faster and it stayed warm. It’s so much quieter. This house is quiet to begin with but it was even quieter than that. They did everything that was part of the deal. They used clear sealant on every window.

They did a really good job, I was very pleased. They were polite, busy, and they did what they came to do.
