My mother lives in north Fort Worth, she is 81 years old and lives by herself. She had what we thought was a leak in her irrigation system. Sprinkler guy came out and discovered that we had a leak in the main line to the house. He recommended Strain. They came out and not only found and fixed the leak but did it at a great price. They could have easily taken advantage of my mother. they sent out multiple technicians and knocked the job out in about 4 hours. I highly recommend this comoany. Work was done quickly and appliance now works

Went well. Only problem was that new sink would not completely drop into the existing cutout because of the underside of the rim of the new sink. Strain plumbers informed us right away, and told us they did not cut countertops. My husband cut the countertop himself with the plumbers assisting him. Then the sink and faucet was installed without any problems. Working fine.

They understood that I was trying to minimize costs and we're happy to work with me on options. Completed work as described in a timely manner. Would use again.

It all went very smoothly. Mr. and Mrs. Strain (answers the phone) were very professional, helpful, he came quickly, gave us a quote on what we thought was a fair price based on another quote we got, sent out an employee who did a good job, and gave us advice about the best way to pass inspection. I'd recommend them.

Our plumbing work stemmed from some foundation issues requiring inspection under our 60 year old pier and beam house. During the inspection the foundation inspector noticed a leak coming from one commode. This prompted a more thorough inspection. Along with the leak, corrosion of the original galvanized supply lines was found. There were no leaks coming from supply lines, but a burst pipe was likely in the not too distant future. I got a couple of repair estimates and decided to go with Strain plumbing. Their estimate was slightly lower, but I also got a better feeling from the two men who showed up, Alex and Jeremiah. They were polite, professional and friendly and had a good attitude, making me feel they like to help people enjoy their work and my business was appreciated.

The initial inspection took about 45 minutes and bid a couple of days to be prepared. All hot and cold supply lines were to be replaced starting from front of the house and going to all the fixtures and water heater.  The work was scheduled to start the next week. I met Alex and Jeremiah the first day, then went on to work. Each day they laid plastic and drop clothes to create a path from the front door to the two access panels under the house. At the end of each day they picked up the drop clothes and cleaned up. The job took 3 days. They worked and made connections in stages so that each day if the water had been turned off at main supply to make connection to fixtures, it was back on when we got home from work. We had no periods without water during the 3 days, which was appreciated.

This was really a preventative measure to head off impending leaks, so I didn’t really expect anything other than a little peace of mind for my outlay of money. However, they insulated all the new pipes and cleaned a couple of faucets along the way. I was pleasantly surprised with both increased water pressure and hotter water.

 I was pleased with the work, my dealings with the office and attitude of the two employees I met. They seemed to have a great work ethic and respect for me as a customer and my property. The initial bid was accurate with no additional charges. Strain will be my first call for any future plumbing needs.

Quality of work seems excellent. The broader team does not communicate clearly with customers or among themselves. We experienced no less than 3 significant communication issues across this work, which lead to incorrectly changed scheduled and incorrect expectations about what we were having performed. Team should work on assuming less and clarifying more with customers.

We had been having problems with the air conditioner and the technician determined that the system wasn't draining properly. The drain was clogged and he recommended that we get a plumber to correct the connection for the drain under the sink. We contacted Strain Plumbing and scheduled an appointment. Alex and Jeremiah arrived on time and were quick to find the problem. They corrected the problem with the drain and had covered the work area so that water and debris from the pipe did not get in the cabinet or on the floor. They tested the drain to be sure that water was flowing properly from the air conditioner and everything worked perfectly. Thanks to Alex and Jeremiah for the excellent work they did! We highly recommend Strain Plumbing for quality work at a reasonable price.

They were able to schedule a time within a few days. They showed up on time, and the work was completed quickly and competently. They had no problem using the replacement faucets that I provided. The price I was charged was within the range quoted on the phone. I would definitely hire them again.

They were on time, honest and did quality work.  My father also used them to install a kitchen faucet and garbage disposal.  Same pleasant experience.  It's nice we are able to find good honest companies like this.. Thanks guys!.

They did the job for far less than a large Dallas/Ft. Worth plumbing company had quoted.  We like to use local businesses when possible and our experience with Mr. Strain and his employees was excellent.  They were on time, answered all my questions, and performed the work in less time than originally quoted.
