I contacted Sean and Denise Giuliani, the owners of Wedgeworth plumbing, in March/April to do a re-piping of corroded galvanized pipes in my attic. I worked directly with Sean to receive a quote. At the time, Sean gave me a very competitive price. They were not the lowest price but very fair and I liked that Sean was a master plumber. Sean asked if he could do part of the work at that time and then the rest of the work in the fall due to the heat in the attic. He said he could provide a discount if I agreed since he could keep his workers in the attic the full time as the weather cooled down. We agreed he would replace the pipes in the worst shape immediately and then do the rest in the fall. I paid him 50% of the quote for the work he did but he only replaced a small amount of the total job. I contacted Denise and Sean again in September to complete the work. Denise said she would call me back and never did. A few days later the same thing, I spoke with Denise and she said she would call me back and never did again. This went on for two weeks. Finally, she called me back and apologized and asked if I wanted to speak to Sean. Sean and I spoke and he remembered the agreement. He said he needed to re-see the job to make sure he had what he needed. We made arrangements for him to come by on a Monday morning to make a parts list and then to start the job on Wednesday. He never showed. I called Denise another 6-7 times with no return call. The work that Sean did was quality work. However, he was paid for 2x the work he did and then never returned my calls. Bottom line: Find another plumber. This one is a gamble and the odds are not in your favor.

We had made a decision to try another plumber. We called Wedgeworth Plumbing and they were able to come out the next day to clear the stopped up kitchen drain. Brandon worked for more than an hour to unstop the kitchen sink drain. He explained that using chemical agents, as well as a snake, would result in a complete removal of everything that was clogging the drain. He also informed us that our disposal was about shot and we should purchase a new one. Brandon was able to install the new disposal the same day. He educated us on what we should and shouldn't put in the disposal and gave us some helpful hints for maintaining our disposal. We were impressed with the quality of his work and the time he took to make sure things were done right.

Wedgeworth was very responsive and professional. I was unable to be at home and the technician was excellent in explaining our plumbing issues to her. They unclogged our kitchen sink and then did a complete inspection of the home. I would recommend Wedgeworth Plumbing Co. to anyone. Great Job!

The inspection was with coupon (119). Went well, Sean carefully inspected every faucet, water heater, plumbing, inside and outside the house, and gave suggestion on all issues. We had a drain clogged since a while, and the clog could not be reached through the sink. Sean had to go to the attic and install a new pipe entry to be able to take care of the situation. We had to be charged an extra 124 $, but the drain was cleaned for good and in no time, and never gave us problems since. I really liked to interact with Sean, because he was patient, polite and ready to answer to all questions I had. I learned a lot and I got good suggestions to implement in the next couple of months. It was all worth and it was fun too!

I am completely impressed with this company. As a female, plumbing is one of the least interesting and desirable areas of running a house. They explained everything to me in such a way that i felt comfortable having them there.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were great. They did exactly what I asked. There were no additional charges. He was very professional. He did exactly what he had to do and he gave me a full write-up. We chatted about it. I was very impressed. I had to call them back twice to verify because there was a mix-up in the dates. We plan to use them again.

The provider showed up on time right after lunch to look at the job. He had had a cancellation the same afternoon and so could do the job the same day. That worked for me too. The provider picked up the new hot water heater and had it installed by 6 pm, including repairing the arcing wiring situation. The job was performed by the owner and a technician. They wore shoe covers in the house and left no mess at all. I contacted this provider because of a recent article on them in Angie's list and they have an office just 6 miles from my home.

Wonderful, would use again.

We had water coming up thru the grout on the floor tiles and were advised by a different plumber that it was the shower pan and would cost between $3000 and $5000. Wedgeworth plumbing removed the shower head and stem and noticed leaking from the stem down the back of the shower wall. Plumber replaced the stem connecting the shower head to the wall. Labor plus mateirial was around $146.00. Big difference. Just goes to show you when someone will take just a little more time. Great job. Will use Wedgeworth Plumbing for future issues.

Came on time, did quality work. Provided recommendations, but not too pushy (and appeared necessary). Would recommend and use again.

The service turned out well. They did a pretty quick job so I don't have complaints at all. They are clean and cheerful. The good thing is that they don't offer extra things. They just went in and did the job. They're also well presented, very educated and very respectful. They just do the job effectively.

After I purchased the deal and contacted Wedgeworth plumbing they schedule my appointment right away. When there was a delay I was contacted and kept up to date on the time of arrival. Sean arrived and proceeded to get to work and even listened to what my husband had already done and made some suggestions on what else could have been done. He was professional, but not willing to listen and talk. Sean was also careful about making sure everything was cleaned up and didn't leave a mess with the equipment. I will use this company if we have plumbing problems again without hesitation.

Sean was great. He arrived within the time window I was given. Wore botties, a plus in my book. Gave me an estimate and then completed the work in about an hour. I will definitely call them when I need my other shut off valves replaced. Even received an Angie's list member discount :)

I couldn't have asked for a nicer plumber. I told him I want to get a new dishwasher, and he said to call, and he would come and replace the shut-off valve and line to the dishwasher when they were installing it. A class organization. They gave me a 2 hour window for expected arrival, called 15 minutes before they arrived. Gary did a great job fixing my clogged drain and explained some things I could do to prevent it in the future. He also performed a general inspection and found a couple of issues that I wasn't aware of. He spent time answering my questions and providing some recommendations for general plumbing maintenance. I've had some bad experience with plumbers before but Wedgeworth was absolutely great. One of the best experiences I've had with a contractor.

I called Wedgeworth and they were able to accomodate an appointment the following day. (It was a non-emergency). I was afraid that he was going to have to cut into the tile or drywall to access the leak, but it turns out the broken pipe was right at the showerhead fixture just inside the wall and he was able to extract it and repair it without opening the wall, saving me significant money. I was also able to use a 10% off coupon from Angie's List with no problem. Sean was pleasant, punctional and professional and I would hire him again.

We called immediately and set up the appointment after purchasing the deal. They were able to come out quickly for the appointment. The work turned out just fine. They came in the morning while I was at work. They completed the job within an hour and a half. They were very pleasant, straight forward, and got the work done quickly.

I contacted Wedgeworth Plumbing after locating a leak in the main riser on the side of the house. Within a few hours, they had Gary at our place ready to give me a quote. Due to finding their company on Angie's list, my mind was already made to employ these guys no matter the price.....due to their excellent track record on Angie's list. Not to mention, I was able to utilize a 10% coupon!!! Once Gary arrived, I also explained to him our washing machine was back flowing into the garage on every load. He quoted and went to work. Unfortunately, due to the age and type of plumbing used for the washing machine drain, his cable was unable to make the galvanized 90 turns. As for the riser leak, he completed the task and I was only charged for the work completed.

The service was good. However, I felt that the value was not great for the price that I paid and the advertisement was confusing. The Deal said it was a full house inspection and I thought they would clear all drains instead of just one with a visual inspection of the rest. They offered a price of $280 to clear another drain but we did not hire them for that. We later found out that that price was very high. Other than the price, the work was fine.

He was prompt, courteous, and completed his task quickly. He explained everything carefully. I would use this service again.
