Initially, I was sent a plumber who I did NOT like. He was very discourteous and curt. I called and informed them of this and then they sent me another plumber (Gary) who was SUPER nice and made up for the bad experience. So the ratings I'm giving is for the new plumber Gary who was sent out!

They came in and replaced 10 hosebibs and charged $800. I do not know how complex the job was but the tenant told me the hosebibs would not budge so I am sure it was some difficult job. I am happy I called them for this house and am also having them install a whole house filter to deal with the brown water problem which is impacting my fixtures and the quality of water. I also want happy tenants and they are facilitating that. David Fisher

The work took longer than would be expected because of some non-standard plumbing from the air conditioner that had been put in by a previous owner, using the same drain as the shower. The hose from air conditioner and the metal grid in the shower drain made using a snake nearly impossible. Because we have some original cast iron sewer pipes, we cannot clear drains chemically. The plumber managed to clear the drain. I opted out of the inspection because it did not include camera, and I plan to have the whole house video inspected this year because of the age of the original pipes.

The plumbing job was excellent and would recommend Wedgeworth for any plumbing job.

This is the first time I have used Angieslist for a service provider and I could not have been more pleased with my initial selection. Late arrival because previous job had taken longer than scheduled but he gave me a nice discount for that. It would have been better had they contacted me of the late arrival instead of me calling them. The fittings used were high quality. I am not easily impressed but I consider the quality of work to be truly outstanding. I also liked the 25 month warranty on the work. Sean was friendly and communicated well. My impression is this is a honest tradesman with high integrity. So if one needs and wants plumbing with exceptional quality work done at a fair price by a trustworthy plumber, this company appears to be a good choice.

It was fixed, properly and we got a good deal. Would definitely call them back, responsive when we were in a pickle.

Good. the only thing I wish they had mentioned was that it might have been covered under home warranty.

Brandon removed the toilet to replace the wax ring because of a leak around the base. After removing the toilet we realized the leak had been there for a while. Brandon suggested contacting a water remediation company before he reinstalled the toilet. He said to call him when we needed it reset and he would complete the job and take the remaining payment. All went well when I called back to get the rest.

Sent a message to company through Angie's list. Within an hour or so, received a reply back to call them. I called and asked how soon someone would be able to come out and assess my water heater replacement. The owner came out that evening and was courteous and knowledgeable. He explained our options in detail and gave an estimate of $1,265. I asked him when he could do the work and he said 9am the following Wednesday. I signed the work order and he left. I took off work that Wednesday morning. I received a voice mail message on my phone that Wednesday morning at about 7:30am from the company stating they had a computer problem over the weekend they had to confirm several of their appointments. I called them back as soon as I saw the message (about 8:15am) and the company told me they wouldn't be able to get there till sometime after 10am. I told them I had to be at work at 1pm. They said it would be a 3-hour install. I told them this would be unacceptable and that if they had been able to get there at 9am as originally planned, I'd be to work by 9am. The company said they'd make sure the job would be done in time. Ten o'clock rolled by and still no company. I was concerned and called. They said there had been a delay, but they assured me the job would be done timely. About quarter till eleven, the owner and one of his assistants arrived. He said that with two of them at the job, they'd have it done in less than an hour and a half. Sure enough, and hour and a half later, the job was done. The owner explained everything to me, including how to set the temperature at specific settings and how to drain the water heater every 9 months. The $1,265 estimate was right on the money, tax included. They were out of here in time for me to be at work by one. I was impressed. That is why I have given them straight A's. I'll use them again.

They where supposed to return with a camera to look at the inside of the pipe and I never heard from them. When I called we couldn't get a response .

I've used Wedgeworth Plumbing three times now, but I'm reviewing this visit because it was the most substantial in terms of cost and scope. Our water heater went out unexpectedly, and with a 6 month old at home, it wasn't an option to go a day without one. Wedgeworth Plumbing came out the same day and rearranged some other appointments to fit us in. They replaced the water heater later in the evening, and everything was working in time for my little one's bath time. At first, the price quote seemed high, but I called around and got quotes from other plumbers on a similar model, and their prices were way higher than Wedgeworth Plumbing's pricing. They've always been honest with me, and this time was no exception. Honest plumbers are really hard to find, and I'm so glad I found these guys.

Brandon came out and was able to clear out the stopped up kitchen line through the outside cleanout. He did find that roots were in the line so they will be coming back out to use the video camera to see what needs to be done to totally clear out the line. He was very professional in performing his work and explained what he was doing and what he found. This is the 3rd time that we have used Wedgeworth Plumbing for a plumbing issue at our home and we have been very pleased with the work performed each time.

This is not the first job that Sean has done for me and I would never think of calling another plumber. After the first job Sean did for me I purchased a Big Deal $124 for $200 of licensed plumbing services from Wedgeworth Plumbing, knowing in advance the things I needed done. When Sean arrived he gave me the estimate up front, so I knew exactly what to expect. After checking out the leak under my kitchen sink, he was able to adjust the valve, rather than replace it... for no charge! Now that's an honest man. He could have told me it needed replacing and I would never have known the difference. Outside, Sean removed my old broken faucet, that had originally been soldered to the pipe. Not anymore. He replaced it with a new, lead-free faucet that he attached using pressure (thanks to a new tool) and soldering is no longer necessary. The new faucet also has a volume breaker, to prevent any chance of back flow. When he was finished, the areas were cleaned, without a trace of any work having been done. Perfect. My Big Deal completely covered the cost of all the work and materials and I couldn't be happier. My neighbor (a new member to Angie's List) happened to be visiting when Sean arrived. After seeing the quality of his work, she's just waiting for a plumbing problem so she can call him too. Thank you Wedgeworth Plumbing. Thank you Sean.

I appreciated that they followed up when something wasn't done quite right. Some of the things were done quite right and that is good. They followed up. They gave us a really good service on fixing the problem. They went out of their way to fix it. It's always better if it's done perfectly the first time but it doesn't always work out. Fixing something when one hasn't worked out it important. They were very professional and they knew what they were talking about.

We always have a good experience with this company. They are friendly and efficient and do excellent work. If you have never used them check out their coupon.

Showed upon time and very nice. Helped find cause of standing water. It turned out not to be a plumbing issue. He helped remove a metal pipe that had no purpose and even took it and disposed it for me. He spent more than 30 minutes helping. When I went to pay him, he said no charge. Very honest company that I will use again when the time comes.

Gary and Rex were personable, instructive, helpful-- a joy to have in our home. We discussed several issue and were given prices and options. We decided on the work we needed at this time. Gary even told us which discount would be the best to use and we chose to use the offer presently on line. Gary and Rex worked diligently and efficiently and left the areas clean. Wedgeworth Plumbing is our new plumber. I will recommend this company to everybody.

I had made a phone call to set up an appointment for Thursday, March 6 and was given a time slot between 12 - 2 pm. Some time after 2 pm, the main office called me to tell me that Sean was in downtown Houston and would be at my home in the next hour. Some time after 3:30 pm, I called the office to ask where Sean was as I had to leave my home to pick up my children from daycare. I asked to then reschedule the appointment and was given a 2 hour window for Friday, March 7. No one ever came on Friday, March 7. No one ever called to explain. There may be a perfectly valid reason for why this happened but I do not work with businesses who fail to keep their appointments. My time is just as valuable as theirs.

it went really well they pointed out more leaks that I was not aware of and fixed them, they answered all my question even ones that didn't pertain to the job they were doing at the time very friendly, I plan on using them on future work.

I scheduled this appointment with Wedgeworth Plumbing because I wanted a second opinion regarding my tankless, gas water heater. I had been told by a different plumber that a roof leak had caused so much damage to the unit and connecting pipes that I needed to replace the entire thing. That particular plumber also said he found a minor gas leak. (It's important to note that I have not noticed any problems with my hot water. The only reason the first plumber inspected the unit was because I'd purchased an Angie's List coupon from that company that included a toilet tuneup and whole house plumbing inspection.) Like a good Angie's List customer, I wanted another opinion. My experience with Wedgeworth so far has been excellent. I easily scheduled my appointment for the date/time range I wanted. On the day of the appointment, I received a call to let me know a plumber was on the way, and Sean arrived exactly when I expected (maybe even a little early) in his giant van-truck (I really don't how to describe it - it's like a house on wheels). He came in and inspected my water heater. While there are definitely things that need to be fixed and/or improved, he did not see any need for me to replace the entire unit, especially since it's still working fine. He even called a colleague of his who is an expert in my particular brand of tankless water heaters to get another opinion. That guy recommended I use my unit until it dies. Sean also tested for gas leaks, but didn't find any. I asked Sean to write down everything that he suggested I do. He put everything in writing in an itemized list (something I had asked the previous company to do but didn't get from them) and gave me a copy. The estimate is less than a third the cost of what the first company was suggesting. I really appreciated Sean's professionalism, particularly related to his promptness, efficiency, and ability to explain things thoroughly but succinctly. I have already informed the other company that I will not be continuing with them. I am committed to getting one more opinion and estimate. Whether I go with Wedgeworth or another company, I still wanted to leave a review of my experience.

Wedgeworth came and flushed the water heater in my home, even showing me how to do it myself in the future. Afterwards, they carefully inspected the plumbing pointing out areas of concern. At the end, an estimate was provided for the suggested actions as well as for a new water heater (mine is 10 years old). The plumber was very professional and responsive, taking time to explain items and offer suggestions.

The work they did was fine. They also sold me a bottle of super drain cleaner and I felt pressured to buy it and didn’t appreciate it. The drain cleaner was $65. They got the job done in less than 2 hours. They came right out once I called them.

Called the company only to find out they are located a great distance from my home. Said sorry to bother them and she no, wait. One of their plumbers lived close by my location and could stop on his way home. He did just that. Took a look at the problem, said he had to get some parts and gave me the price. We agreed and he was on his way to get the parts (stems, seat, etc). Within 20 minutes he was finished. The price was fair and he was quick and thorough. what more needs to be said. the company was so helpful, even at the distance. The tech was so pleasant and nice, he explained everything to me. This leak had been running my water bill up to over $250.00 per month. It was a bargain at any price. I also used my Angie's List discount. Think it was for $39 or $49. brought the cost down to about $185.00.

It went very well. The men were professional and neat. They were also very thorough.

First of all, the plumber called to let us know he was on his way. Everyone always says they will do this, but in our experience, few do. Major points! When he arrived, the plumber was professional and courteous at all times. He was extremely knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem within a reasonable amount of time. He also informed of us of future diagnostics and repairs we may have to make without being pushy. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone with plumbing issues, large or small.
