Wonderful , We had a timely return call from John Seaback we discussed the best time for them to come out after my new Hardiplank is complete. Called in the AM, roofers were available that afternoon. They showed up on time and diagnosed problem quickly, including looking at roof from top and in the attic. Contractor left cell phone number to call in case of additional repairs or questions.

They are very good. I knew them, and that is why I picked them out. I was pleased to find out that they were on Angie's list later on; but I knew what I was getting into when I hired them. It was a first class experience.

The crew arrived with the materials and supplies, which were placed where I directed. Work began promply at 8:30, taking an hour break for lunch and stopping at 8:45 pm, leaving at 9:00 pm. The crew completed the job with minimal landscape damage and did not disturb our neighbors.

Once the work started it went very quickly. Clean up was complete. They have a program whereby if you recommend them to someone who buys their services, you will receive a discount; also you receive $100 discount if you allow them to put their sign in your yard. Watch out that promised credits are actually given to you. Frankly, I have concerns whether I would use this company in the future - I cannot grade them A on all details.

We had damage last September from Hurrican Ike. We had a roofing company replace our roof in November, but the sales rep had not included gutters in the first bid. We asked them to give us a gutter bid, but they never came back for the gutter estimate, so this summer we began to search for another company. I understand that roofers don't always want to do small jobs (especially since there is still a lot of work in this area from the hurricane), but Seaback returned our call promptly, had someone out within a week to do the estimate, and then performed the job the next week. The workers did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable.

It went very well. They came out to see the house and then dropped off an estimate on a bunch of work I talked about besides the hurricane damage. They broke down the estimates so that we could pick and choose what we wanted done. We decided on just the hurricane damage repairs for now and will call them in a while to do the other work. They called me back quickly and I explained what we wanted done, Johnny set a date to begin work. He then called back a day later and said they had a cancellation and he could come the next day. He gave a time in the morning for their arrival but explained that they might be late as they were planning to stop to get supplies. They were about 45 min. late and came with a crew of men. Several began working on the chimney while the others worked on the gutter repair. All work was completed in 5 hrs. They completely cleaned up everything and gave us the can of paint they used so that we would have it to match any other jobs we need done. The work is beautiful, the chimney matches the rest of the house perfectly even though it is made of completely different material. I was more than happy with their work, not one complaint about it from start to finish.

Overall the job went well. The roofers had some wrong shingles at first and were going to use them until we objected to the managment. The next day the crew sat in the yard all day because the correct shingles were not delivered, so the job took 2 days longer than estimated. Once that problem was resolved, the new roof looks fine. I did have some problems coordinating between the contractor and insurance company about payments and documentation.

We contacted them shortly after Ike for an estimate to repair/replace roof. Very prompt and attentive. However, we wanted an estimate for comparison and they wanted to work directly with the insurance company. Since we were not comfortable with that, we did not go with this company. We did have them do a temporary repair to stop continued water damage. The subcontractor they were using charged us way too much for this. The manager investigated this and aggressively worked to find out what happened. Ultimately, Seaback refunded most of our money.

We had planned on having this contractor do both exterior and interior hurricane repairs. They would never return our calls. When we called them different people would tell us conflicting information about cost and dates when repairs might begin. Once begun, the roof was completed quickly. However someone on the roofing crew picked up my cell phone that I dropped while getting out of the car and promptly made several calls to Honduras. Cell phone was later returned and we were promised to be reimbursed for the calls. Think we will have another contractor do the interior work.

Marvin Davis came out and he was not only professional, he was courteous and gave us a very fair price. I gave him paint I thought matched the trim but it didn't and when I called to tell him he said he would find paint that matched. I was impressed because I was prepared to have to argue to get him to return and finish the job. He was even considerate enough to remember to knock as to not wake up my infant. Great experience and will use him again.

Seaback Roofing and Restoration did a great job. They quickly finished the project on my home. They provided good service. They did an excellent job cleaning up, too. No nails were left in my yard. They did not damage my bushes and shrubs along the front of my home. The cost was covered by our homeowners insurance.
