RENY'S PLUMBING

Took a long time to finish work.

First, I don't really remember the date the garbage disposer was installed. It was month or so ago, but you have to put in a service date so I just guessed. The first time I used Reny, they were actually hired by the foundation repair company to fix several leaks under my foundation at the same time the foundation was repaired. I was very happy with their work and their price was much lower than that of the plumber my insurance company had sent out. Also, the "insurance plumber" had said the shower pan in my master bath was leaking and wanted $1,700 just for that. They had said there were several leaks under my foundation and quoted nearly $8,000 in all. Reny looked and said it wasn't the shower pan leaking at all, rather a pipe near the shower pan. They were honest and didn't do work that wasn't justified. Reny repaired all the leaks for $1,150. Had I let the "insurance plumber" replace the shower pan it would have torn up the tile in my master shower and that would have been more expense to repair. I have since called Reny for the garbage disposer and tub fixture leaks and I will call them again any time I need plumbing work. I'm surprised they have not been reviewed before on Angie's list. These reviews come up on Google reviews when you do a search on their name: "Overall, best plumbing company!" "Best plumbing service!" "Quality work for a great price and great customer service!"

Every part of this job went excellent with Reny. He had a few contractors and the sheetrock company was not of the quality of Reny. He has since replaced that company. There are no worries on the punctuality or professionalism of this company. I will refer them to others and will always trust them for future work.

Chris replumbed the washer drain/lines, replaced all the galvanized pipe with PEX and insulated all the lines, and replaced the exterior faucets (several were broken and/or leaking). The whole job took 2 days. We have used Reny's Plumbing in the past - to plumb a bathroom and under-slab repairs (2). He did one job in conjunction with Jericho Foundation. He gives free estimates, and the cost is VERY reasonable. We highly recommend his company.

After purchasing the house I discovered that the hot water heater vent was leaking because it had been improperly installed. A roofer inspected the vent and bid $390 to complete the necessary repairs. I called Reny's Plumbing about the issue and they scheduled a time to inspect the vent. They failed to show for the scheduled appointment. When I called to inquire about why they hadn't kept the appointment and when it could be rescheduled for, the receptionist said, "I don't know" to both. She gave me the owner's cell number, and I let him a message. He never returned the call and has yet to answer when I call. In the course of repairing the vent, we discovered that the PVC washing machine drain that Reny's Plumbing installed had also been done improperly and was leaking water in the wall. The drain had to be replaced at a cost of $495 and the sheet rock work at the repair site cost another $225. As of right now, I've spent $1110 to make repairs due to the workmanship of Reny's Plumbing. Soffit damage from the leaking vent has yet to be repaired. Naturally, if any progress is made with the provider, I'll make the necessary adjustments to my review.
