They replaced the coil (inferior to the one I already had). They did not seal the unit properly. It has been leaking and making a noise ever since. I called them to come back out to fix it. They said they did. It is still not working correctly and still not sealed. The owner argued with me on which unit they worked on. Cost me close to $3000 and now I have to spend more money to fix it properly. Would not recommend this company at all.

I would never use or recommend them to anyone.

R&B Mechanical called me within 24 hours to schedule the appointment to come out and survey what could be causing the problem.  I also got a call in advance notifying me that the technicians were on their way out to the house.  They showed up, were very friendly and got to work quickly.  After a thorough test, they determined the Freon was depleted from the downstairs unit (which usually means a leak somewhere).  They could not determine the location of the leak, so they injected a dye in the system along with a sealant.  They are due to come back out after the dye runs through the system to see if they can locate the problem.  Very professional and very thorough.  Just another note, they also asked for something to wipe their feet on so they would not track anything in the house, which I thought was very considerate.

They quickly diagnosed the problem and had the equipment/parts needed to repair with them. The capacitor bank on the AC fan had blown. Only small issue I had was that sometimes when I would call their office line it would ring busy. Other than that they showed up on time and ready to go.

After having the first company (Pro-Tech Air) that came out to replace my condenser fan motor in my a/c unit replace the fan in the WRONG a/c unit, my home warranty company contacted Rand B Mechanical to come out and verify that the problem still existed and to fix the problem. Rand B Mechanical was prompt in their communication, diagnosis, and professionalism. They diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part and replaced in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend them for any future a/c issues.

They've been to my house many time because they are my home warranty company. They don't return phone calls.

They are a home warranty company. I did not choose him. They did a really good job. I liked them and I kept their card in case I needed somebody later on. They are very busy and I have to work around them. That is annoying. They were pretty good. They knew what they were doing. There was a leak in the air conditioning unit. The Freon was really low. My husband added more Freon. It is not supposed to happen. We are not supposed to do that. We had all kinds of issues. They came in and fixed it. They told my husband not to ever touch the air conditioner again. I have a home warranty on the property so I only paid $60 for the service call. I had called another company before and they were not able to fix it. Then I called these people and they were able to fix it. I had to re schedule the appointment 3 or 4 times. They were punctual.
