He did a great job.

Early in the fall we discovered we would need a new heating unit The old one was approximately 35 years old. Long Air removed it and Installed the new heating unit in just a few hours. The bill was reasonable although I possibly could have shopped around for a discount. The reason I did not was the service that Long Air had been giving us long before he installed the new unit. My elderly mother lives with me and any time the old unit needed anything - pilot light lit, service, a jump start - whatever until it finally died - Mr. Long would always come over as quickly as possible. In the evening, on a weekend, whenever help was needed - he was right there - for 5 or 6 years. My mom never had a cold night or an uncomfortable day. His service and cheery disposition sold me on Long Air way before Long Air sold me a new system.

This guy is the real deal. He really knows his stuff. We had had a "brand" name that advertises a lot come out and give us a bid and the guy really turned us off with his presentation. Long came in, looked at the old system and explained everything to us. It all agreed with what the other company had said but the price came in at OVER $2,000 LESS. I guess it costs a lot of money to have commercials run on tv all day. We really liked the fact that it was his own business and that he took a lot of pride in his work. On installation day, he brought several guys to work with him, two of whom were his sons. They were all extremely pleasant and professional. He gave us a typed invoice that listed all the parts replaced with their model and serial numbers and included details of their work. In summary, my husband and I were extremely pleased with Long Air's work and we highly recommend them!

Does great work very neat and clean

I returned home around 9 pm on the evening of June 1 to find the house temperature at approximately 85 degrees.(thermostat was set to 75) After coordinating Angie's List with my local yellow pages( to find a provider in my area - love doing business with neighbors) I decided to use Long Air to fix my A/C problem. I called the owner, Mr. Long Nguyen, around 8:30 am on June 2. He was at my house by 10:00 am. We chatted about what I had experienced with the A/C system and then went to the unit outside to take a look. He informed me that the capacitor was bad. (Which my husband had expected was the problem) He told me that he had a replacement on his truck and that he could take care of everything in about 30 minutes. He quoted me $145.00 which I thought was a good/fair price. (My mother had the same replacement last summer by a service in the Hill Country - quote was in the same price range ). Mr. Nguyen completed the switch in less than 30 minutes. The service was speedy and excellent. Mr Nguyen was very personable, friendly and courteous. He answered some general maintenance questions I had prior to his leaving. I would use this company again in a heart beat.

Mr. Long Nguyen, the owner, came very promptly. Both units were up and running within a few hours. The price was very fair. The service was courteous and professional. Best of all everything is working!

We first dealt with Long Air when we had to have an emergency AC repair after Hurricane Rita in 2005. They were prompt, professional, fairly proced, and we have used their services ever since, mainly on regular seaonal checkups of our AC/Heating system. We plan on calling them again when we have the furnace replaced in the near future. We would highly recommend Long Air.
